Decentralized Authentication in OpenStack Nova : Integration of OpenID

Khan, Rasib Hassan January 2011 (has links)
The evolution of cloud computing is driving the next generation of internet services. OpenStack is one of the largest open-source cloud computing middleware development communities. Currently, OpenStack supports platform specific signatures and tokens for user authentication. In this thesis, we aim to introduce a platform independent, flexible, and decentralized authentication mechanism in OpenStack. We selected OpenID as an open-source authentication platform. It allows a decentralized framework for user authentication. OpenID has its own advantages for web services, which include improvements in usability and seamless SSO experience for the users. This thesis presents the OpenID-Authentication-as-a-Service APIs in OpenStack for front-end GUI servers, and performs the authentication in the back-end at a single Policy Decision Point. The design was implemented in OpenStack, allowing users to use their OpenID Identifiers from standard OpenID providers and log into the Dashboard/Django- Nova graphical interface of OpenStack.

[en] The research brings reflections on the so-called New Generation of samba in Rio de Janeiro, highlighted, especially, by the wheels of samba in the Alley of the Mouse, bar located between the neighborhoods of Gloria and Lapa, and also from the elaboration of the DVD Samba Social Club - New generation, Vol 1., in 2016, and the DVD Samba Social Club - New generation, Vol 2., released in 2020. In this way, the debate is deepened by the vector of the inclusion of this category in the musical scene, in order to understand its sonorities, repertoire, work routines and the relationship with contemporary social demands such as machismo, racism and homophobia. Finally, it is analyzed how the sponsorship is present in the trajectory of these musicians, exploring the relationships and partnerships with famous names of the samba, the family heritage and other possible senses in these joints.

[pt] A EXPERIÊNCIA PROFESSORTEXTO.BLOG: MEDIAÇÕES DO DESIGN NOS PROCESSOS INTERATIVOS DE ENSINO-APRENDIZAGEM PARA/COM ALUNOS DE GRADUAÇÃO EM COMUNICAÇÃO SOCIAL / [en] MEDIATION DESIGN IN THE INTERACTIVE PROCESSES OF TEACHING AND LEARNING FOR/WITH GRADUATE STUDENTS IN COMMUNICATION: PROFESSORTEXTO.BLOG EXPERIENCE

LUIZ FERNANDO FAVILLA CARRILHO 23 November 2021 (has links)
[en] Starting from the premise that design is a thinking process comprising the creation of an entity, according to Miller (1988), I have conducted a participatory research with third semester undergraduate students of Social Communications at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro . The research is focused on interactive processes of teaching/learning linked to the New Digital Technologies for Information and Communication (NTDICs). As a professor of three classes of Communication Skills II, I have developed the professortexto.blog as a mediation tool, which has provided me with a digital interface to interact with my students. This work describes and analyzes the interdisciplinary experience lived, simultaneously, by the participants in the classroom and virtual ly. It concludes that teachers who manage NTDICs play the role of cognitive designers as they are supposed to plan and maintain dialogical bridges to guide and direct the students’ research projects in order to develop their knowledge.
