Darbo tikslas. Išanalizuoti alkoholinių gėrimų reklamos situaciją Lietuvoje, gyventojų požiūrį į jos draudimą. Darbo uždaviniai. 1. Išanalizuoti esamą alkoholinių gėrimų reklamą. 2. Nustatyti moksleivių požiūrį į alkoholinių gėrimų reklamą. 3. Nustatyti gyventojų požiūrį į alkoholinių gėrimų reklamos draudimą. 4. Išanalizuoti esminius reklamos kūrimo principus, įvertinti jų naudojimą reklamuojant alkoholinius gėrimus. 5. Įvertinti esamos alkoholinių gėrimų reklamos atitikimą egzistuojančiai įstatyminei bazei, jos pobūdį. Tyrimo metodika. 2007 m. rugsėjo mėn. alkoholinių gėrimų reklamos monitoringo duomenų analizė. Viešosios nuomonės tyrimas. Alkoholinių gėrimų reklamos analizė, atitikimas įstatyminei bazei. Kokybinis moksleivių nuomonės tyrimas. Rezultatai. 1. Dažniausiai alkoholiniai gėrimai reklamuojami televizijoje ir... [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / Aim of the study. Paradox of risk: sexuality and HIV/AIDS among young people with physical disabilities in Nyanga, South Africa.

Wazakili, Margaret . January 2007 (has links)

&nbsp /

The current study aimed to describe the paradox of risk through an exploration of the experiences and perceptions of sexuality and HIV/AIDS among physically disabled young people in Nyanga, South Africa. This is against the background that AIDS has become a national and global crisis, which requires all people to participate in efforts to contain the pandemic. Yet literature indicates that young people with disabilities are not participating in such efforts. There is also an assumption, that physically disabled young people do not experience challenges in expressing their sexuality and accessing HIV/AIDS prevention services, to the same extent as other disability groups such as the blind and those with intellectual disabilities. Hence there was a need to explore disabled young people&rsquo / s own understanding of risk and the factors that hinder or support their participation in existing sexuality education and HIV/AIDS prevention programmes. It was also important for this group to suggest ways in which they may participate in such programmes.

The images of God as perceived by abandoned children : an exploratory study into the spiritual development of children.

Zengele, Patricia Bongi. January 2006 (has links)
This research study explores the ways in which children from diverse family backgrounds can construct or reconstruct their God representations. These were probed by using 'object relations theory' and 'matemal deprivation theory' as means of further gaining insight into children's initial formulations of interpersonal and emotional relationships and how these were translated into the way they imagined God to be for themselves, given their age-group. Parallels were drawn between the interface of psychology and theology by using theories on faith development. There is a clear acknowledgment that there are certain steps of development that individuals go through in their growth at both psychological and spiritual levels. This confirms that there is a need for these two disciplines to draw from each other as means of creating conducive climate to allow for an integrated approach towards formulations of spiritual development among children. Through the use of questionnaires the children were given the opportunity to explore images of God and to also express these in the form of a drawing. The content analysis of this study demonstrated that there were no distinct differences on how children perceived God between abandoned children being raised in an institutional setting and those children being raised by biological parents. This finding highlighted the fact that there are other factors that impact children's spiritual development. These include care, nurture and emotional security. This study contributes to future research on developing new theologies by children, thus enabling them to play a central role in formulating contextual and relevant curriculums on religious education. / Thesis (M.A.)-University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg, 2006.

Gauthier, Benoit 06 1900 (has links)
In Quebec’s researches on the young people’s entry into the adulthood and in the beliefs of the population in general, it is well anchored that the fact of dropping out from high school without obtaining diploma leads eventually and inevitably to difficulties of entry on the labour market. However, when one undertakes to check the origin of this belief, one finds only very few answers, since the investigations into the insertion of the young people in Quebec and Canada almost always ignored the young people without diplomas and research treating of the subject often quotes nonconvincing sources. In this analysis, we used a recent investigation which is not restricted to the only graduates to study insertion of the young people, by making the assumption that the young high school dropouts of Quebec and the remainder of Canada are not likely significantly more to know difficult insertions in employment than the young people not having but this level of diploma to their credit. Our results do not enable us to affirm that the dropouts do not know more problems of insertion than the high school graduates, but they show all the same that other variables are much more determining. The interest of this analysis does not stop with the statistical comparison between the two groups of young people being studied, it wants to be a theoretical reflexion on the notion of insertion, on the reasons which explain its restrictive character, and on the paradigms which inspire this field of research.

The space between : representing 'youth' on the contemporary Australian stage

Jordan, Richard January 2006 (has links)
Young characters throughout the history of Australian theatre have traditionally been represented as tragic, transient, and dangerous; discourses which have defined and limited their construction. 'Youth' itself is a concept which has been invented and perpetuated within Western Art and Media for much of the twentieth century and beyond, creating an exclusive 'space' for young people: a space between childhood and a standard human being. This thesis seeks to explore the implications of this space, as well as contextualise a new creative work - the stage play like, dead - within the canon of Australian theatre texts which portray young characters. like, dead will be shown to be a work which reappropriates clichéd youthful discourses through the use of irony, humour, and a sense of postmodern 'performativity' among its characters. In so doing it will demonstrate an alternative approach to representing young people on the Australian stage, by enhancing the constructedness of traditional images of 'youth' and pursuing the creation of young characters which are not solely defined by the term.

Hoods : creating political theatre for young audiences

Betzien, Angela Jane January 2007 (has links)
My first exposure to Brecht and his theories was as a high school drama student. One of our year twelve assessment tasks was to write and perform our own Brechtian drama using three or more alienation techniques. I wrote a piece about Religion and Fundamentalism, an issue that I felt strongly about at the time. By carefully following my teacher’s instructions and adhering to the assessment criteria I received a VHA. I concluded from this experience that political theatre could be made by following a simple recipe and combining key ingredients. As my knowledge of theatre and my own creative practice developed I came to understand the great complexity of Brechtian theory and the extreme difficulty of creating effective political theatre, that is, theatre that changes the world. Brecht’s theories have been so thoroughly absorbed into contemporary theatre practice that we no longer identify the techniques of Epic Theatre as necessarily political, nor do we acknowledge its radical origins. I have not yet seen a professional production of a Brechtian play but I’ve absorbed on countless occasions the brilliant reinterpretations of Brecht’s theories within the work of contemporary dramatists. My approach to creating political drama is eclectic and irreverent and I’m prepared to beg borrow and steal from the cannon of political theatre and popular media to create a drama that works, a drama that is both entertaining and provocative. Hoods is an adaptation for young audiences of my original play Kingswood Kids (2001). The process of re-purposing Kingwood Kids to Hoods has been a long and complex one. The process has triggered an analysis of my own creative practice and theory, and demanded an in-depth engagement with the theories and practice of key political theatre makers, most notably Brecht and Boal and more contemporary theatre makers such as Churchill, Kane, and Zeal Theatre. The focus of my exegesis is an inquiry into how the dramatist can create a theatre of currency that challenges the dominant culture and provokes critical thinking and political engagement in young audiences. It will particularly examine Brecht’s theory of alienation and argue its continued relevance, exploring how Brechtian techniques can be applied and re-interpreted through an in-depth analysis of my two works for young people, Hoods and Children of the Black Skirt. For the purposes of this short exegesis I have narrowed the inquiry by focusing on four key areas: Transformation, Structure, Pretext, Metatext.

The role of online networks in supporting young people's digital inclusion and the implications for Australian government policies

Notley, Tanya M. January 2008 (has links)
This study examines young people’s internet access and use in nine locations in Queensland, Australia. The primary aim of the research is to assess if internet use supports young people’s social inclusion: that is, if internet use supports young people to participate in society in ways they have most reason to value. The research findings demonstrate that the digital divide in Queensland – the gap between citizens with and without access to ICTs – continues to inhibit young people’s ability to participate online. This divide is embedded within historic, economic, social and cultural inequalities. To address this, this study proposes that a digital inclusion framework, founded on the concept of social inclusion, offers the Australian federal and state governments an opportunity to extend digital divide policies so that they connect with and complement broader social policy goals. The research outcomes also illustrate that creative uses of online networks provide a powerful means through which young people can participate in a networked society. While young people’s access to a range of ICTs impacts on their ability to use online networks, gradations of use, social networks and informal learning contexts frequently act as mediators to support effective internet use. This study contends that by understanding the social benefits of young people’s online network use and the role that mediators play in different environments, we can move towards a policy framework that supports equitable opportunities for young people’s digital inclusion.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Arquivototal.pdf: 7972832 bytes, checksum: eaced6d2354f155f2eecfb932237aaa0 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2017-02-22 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / This research aims to understand how the knowledge relationship occurs in the pedagogical practices of the Education of Youngs and Adults (EJA), starting from the use of textbooks. We adopted as a unit of analysis the pedagogical and political dimension that bases the prescribed knowledge (contents) in the textbooks used in the pedagogical practices of Youth and Adult Education in a public school in the city of Lagoa de Dentro (PB), located in the rural community. The theoretical perspective that guided the study was that of Popular Education, Education of Youngs and Adults and Relation of Knowledge, based on Freire (1983; 1997; 2000; 2006; 2007; 2011), Brandão (1994; 2002; 2003; 2006), Beisiegel (1974; 1982), Paiva (2003), Fávero (1984), Santos (2000, 2002; 2007; 2009), Charlot (1996, 2000), Jovchelovitch (2011). We talk with the conceptions about Didactic Book emerging from the researches developed by scholars of the thematic, who focus on the social-historical aspects, the pedagogical-curricular dimension, as well as the political and market dimension, among these: Bittencourt (2004; 2008), Munakata (2003; 2012), Valdemarin (2007), Choppin (2004), Gatti (2004), Santomé (1998). The main problem that guided the discussions is the process of interactivity of knowledge, starting from the textbook used in the Education of Youngs and Adults. The methodological approach adopted was the Case Study (YIN, 2001), using Participant Observation (BRANDÃO, 2006; MELLO, 2005), narrative (YIN, 2001), semi-structured interviews (MELLO, 2005), the document of the National Programme of the Didactic Book for Education of Young and Adult - PNLD-EJA (BRAZIL / MEC 2012; 2014) and the Textbook itself (EJA MODERNA, 2013). We define our analysis in the descriptive approach, in which we adopt as a strategy the “case description” (general), and the “construction of the explanation” (specific) (YIN, 2001). This research shows that the place of the “relationship of knowledge” in the Education of Youngs and Adults is reconsidered based on the multiplicity of knowledge that originates from the programmatic contents of the textbooks (school knowledge), from the creative knowledge built in the pedagogical practice of the teachers of the EJA and also the popular knowledge of the students. The daily life of Youth and Adult Education presents itself as a plural space that is not limited to the knowledge of textbooks; it constitutes knowledge endowed with subjectivities, representations, meanings and historical aspects that form an individual and collective identity. We perceive that “alternative pedagogical creations” surpass or re-signify the accommodation to the programmed knowledge, favoring the development of pedagogical practices with a view to emancipation, starting from “Relevant Social Themes”, provoking “dialogical meetings” of the different ways of knowing.

This thesis was based on research with the young students of the Technical Course on Agropecuária Integrated to High School in the Modality Alternation of the State Technical School (Etec) "Sebastiana Augusta de Morais", of Andradina (SP), with the purpose of knowing the experience The relationship between the family and the school, the future perspectives, seeking to analyze whether the Alternation Pedagogy as a pedagogical tool for Field Education can contribute to the valorization of the rural way of life and the profession of farmer Family. In the first stage, a semi-structured questionnaire was used with qualitative and quantitative questions, applied in the form of an interview with all the students, of the referred series, that were present in the days of the research; In the second stage also conducted through interviews, but with another questionnaire, applied only to students who lived in rural settlements. The research also included interviews with relatives of 11 young people in the lot, addressing questions related to family life, their vision of the School and the process of succession of the family establishment, and finally, three visiting teachers of the said course . It was evidenced that Etec managed to win the youngsters in such a way that everyone liked to go to school and that the modality alternation was important referential for the children of rural settlers, bringing closer and reinforcing the interaction between the young person, the family and the School . With the pedagogy of alternation, mainly through the role of the visiting teacher, the knowledge acquired in the Institution increased and the participation of the young person increased in the family decisions, as well as a revalorization of the way of life of the parents. However, the profession of family farmer is not directly sought by young people, denoting the need for other public policies that make the taste for agriculture and the rural way of life an option that does not mean an economically precarious condition of life for young people and their families
