Zaměstnanost rizikových skupin mladých lidí v České republice / Emloyment of young people at risk groups in Czech republic

Hrdlička, Lukáš January 2011 (has links)
Thesis "Employment risk groups of young people in the Czech Republic," focuses on young people leaving institutional care. In the Czech Republic, emerging from the economic crisis and unemployment is still high. For young people it is difficult to find jobs, because they lack the neccessary practical experience. The situation of young people leaving institutional care is even worse. These young people are applying for the job market disadvantage because they lack family support. The only support they are halfway houses to help them during the spin-offs and adaptations of the professional role. The experience of workers Halfway House Maják shows that what is important is the individual approach to clients. This approach should be employed during the election of a professional role that is also very important.

Projet managérial de professionnalisation et processus de socialisation au travail : une sociologie des conseillers financiers de La Poste / Managerial project of professionalisation and process of socialisation at work : Sociology of financial advisers at La Poste

Gilson, Adeline 02 December 2011 (has links)
This thesis analyses the confrontation between postal reforms inspired by the new public management, fulfilled in the rationalisation politics of the working activity, and employee professional practices. It studies the stakes, the modalities and the limits of the financial advisers normative work definition. Designated as change agents by the organisation, they must manage the dynamics between market logic and the public services mission which persists through a double language at La Poste. This puts into evidence the professional positioning that is constructed based on the referential norm of the ideal adviser portrayed by the organisation. The latest therefore counts on its young recruits, excepted to be receptive to the new managerial logics. The study of the socialisation process of its potential advisers, registered on individual career paths, allows questioning the homogenisation in the practices and persistence of the social postal model. The approach is based on a territorial comparison (Mediterranean/Parisian region) as well as generational. The combination of several investigation techniques (participative observation within the HR Direction at La Banque Postale, longitudinal panel survey conducted on financial adviser apprentices, monograph of post offices and exploitation of statistic data) allows crossing of biographical paths (personal and career) and the structural elements of employment politics analysis, work, and training at La Poste.

Young people's perceptions of access to sexual and reproductive health services in Manzini, Swaziland

Fakudze, Simangele 05 1900 (has links)
The purpose of the study was to explore and describe young people’s perceptions of access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services in Swaziland. The study provided insights into the SRH services currently available to the young people of Swaziland and reveals the opportunities that can be used to improve accessibility and utilisation of the current reproductive health services. The findings will inform policy-making and appropriate future interventions for young people’s sexual and reproductive needs and services. Data were collected through a descriptive exploratory study design. Colaizzi’s seven steps of data analysis were used. The study provides ample evidence that young people face sexual health risks that justify their need to access and utilise SRH services. The findings revealed that access to service is an important but complex element of quality care, as it determines whether a client gets to the service provider. / Health Studies / M.A. (Health Studies)

Die Bedeutung der spirituellen Heilung in Tunesien

Dridi, Sameh 06 March 2012 (has links)
In addition to modern medicine, traditional medicine plays an important role in the medical system of Tunisia. There are different healing methods which characterize the medical landscape of the country and they coexist in an interesting way. This variety has a remarkable impact on the health seeking behavior of the Tunisians and especially of the younger generations (17-30), who have become increasingly interested in spiritual healing (tibb ruhani). This healing method deals with illnesses including modern methods of treatment and, additionally, it focuses on a number of issues and problems which concern this age group such as social conflicts, unemployment and migration. The image of spiritual healing has changed considerably over the past ten years. This transformation has led to a new understanding of illness and healing and to the development of new strategies regarding the health seeking behavior. Spiritual healing is based, on the one hand, on religious texts, the supernatural world and its agents and, on the other hand, on traditional healing methods and modern medicine. Up to recently, the traditional healing methods only played a marginal role in the medical system and they were hardly attractive to the young generations. My fieldwork, however, clearly shows that spiritual healing has deeply aroused the interest of this age group and, at the same time, it has met with public recognition. The mass media have also become interested in the phenomenon of spiritual healing and are publishing increasing numbers of articles about the spiritual healers and their methods and by giving them the opportunity to participate in a variety of TV-shows. This new attitude towards illness, healing and social problems underlines that these topics are no longer private concerns. The spiritual healing has incorporated the current social and economic transformations. The healers have become important contacts for this age group who consult them to find adequate solutions to a wide range of their concerns. The government profits from this new role of the spiritual healing and it uses it for various purposes such as to alleviate social tensions. The importance of the spiritual healing in Tunisia is also underlined by the serious attempt to develop an official cooperation between spiritual healing and modern medicine.

Barnmorskors uppfattningar om hur sexuell och reproduktiv hälsa och rättigheter kan stärkas hos ungdomar : En kvalitativ intervjustudie / Midwives’ perceptions of how sexual and reproductive health and rights can be strengthened in young people : A qualitative interview study

Wedde Åberg, Maria, Hillrings, Patricia January 2018 (has links)
Background: The sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of young people is an important public health work and the midwife has a central role in reaching the young people with knowledge and information. There seem to be few studies on midwives' perceptions about what young people need to know more about when it comes to their sexual and reproductive health and rights. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe the views of midwives about what young people need to know more about in the area of sexual and reproductive health and rights. Method: Qualitative interview study with eight semi-structured interviews with midwives. The data material was analyzed with a qualitative content analysis with inductive approach. Result: The midwives perceived that the young people needed to know more about body development. In addition, more about sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and contraceptives and that the young men needed to know more about their reproductive responsibilities. The youth also needed to know more about sexual relations and rights, including, among other things, laws and homosexuality. The midwives today see an increase in sexual problems among young people and the midwives had a common view that this is due to pornography consumption. Conclusion: Midwives have insight into what young people need to know more about in SRHR. There are still shortcomings in education for young people within SRHR, and it is important to focus and invest in work to strengthen and promote young people's SRHR. Clinical application: This study highlights the views of midwives on what young people need to know more about in the subject of SRHR. The study can be used in clinical activities for improvement work for various occupational categories that work with young people regarding SRHR.

Objective "understand the emotions and feelings involved in the teaching performance of teachers of Mathematics Education for Youth and Adults and provocative situations" questions: How did your start in teaching in EJA Course? Which were the affective aspects (feelings and emotions) that the entry and presence in the EJA Course you have? What are the most significant aspects in your performance in EJA as a teacher? To justify the relevance of research, surveys PRODEC to the production of theses and dissertations on the EJA. In the first chapter, it has been discussed "the field and the issue of adult and youth education." As the principal of the related theoretical work, in the second chapter, "the affective dimension in Wallonian theory" has been discussed. Then, it is presented the trajectory and methodological information about the interviews and diaries of ten teachers, five from a public institution and five from a particular institution. The information produced from the analysis of the interviews and diaries are presented in chapter four. Some issues are applied in the analysis: the teachers consider important the EJA Course, but realize that they have been started their activities without specific preparation for this, the importance of other people to help them in this new beginning of teaching was crucial, the care to teachers and students necessities guarantee feelings of well-being for both, and not care, feelings of malaise.

It´s been used the technique of discourse analysis applying on young students from 15 to 24 years old, living in a poor part of the São Paulo city, and studying in a free government school. It´s aimed to focus on what they think about their success of getting a job, if they believe they can do it, by means of analysing their speechs. In the course of the explanation, it´s presented the economic and politic circumstances Brazil has been through last decades and their impacts over what constitutes the object of this study. A pannel of Brazil economic and social index also is presented. Focus group technique has been used to check the opinions of the participants about their perspectives, how they plan to overthrough the predictable difficults coming along, how they interact and what they think. Discours analysis was the method used. Besides, the study is conducted according to the constructionism philosophy, which considers the linguistic-conceptual aspects of the phenomenon. Linking ideas were set down on a map to clarify the main emerging themes and the importance they seem to have for the interviewed people / Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa sobre as reais oportunidades de entrada dos jovens das camadas populares no mercado de trabalho.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Monica Gardelli Franco.pdf: 1990617 bytes, checksum: 40a63eb79a51fe3b2d68f200241b5e96 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2009-05-13 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This research started from the finding of lack of public policies that would provide for the appropriation of information and communication technologies to promote the literacy of young people and adult populations as inalienable rights of human beings. Considering the importance of the role of UNESCO regarding the proposal of strategies, and in monitoring and evaluation of public policies for education performance, this research had the objective of extracting guidelines from its official documents for the drafting, the consolidation and improvement of public policies that would require the integration of communication technologies and information on proposals for literacy of young people and adults. The experience that led to the research practices and that have opened the problem of the thesis was the MOVA-digital, held in São Paulo s Municipal Department of Education, between 2001-2002. The analysis was performed based on two documents - ICT to develop Literacy and ICT in Education Toolkit for Policy Makers, Planners and Practitioners. The analysis of the documents took as a principle the ownership of technology as a human right and made reference to concepts disponível theoretical principles that argue for the appropriation of technologies and human development - concept represented by Álvaro Vieira Pinto, Manuel Castells and Nicolau Sevcenko; by the concept of literacy as a transformative and emancipatory practice - designed by Paulo Freire; and by development as a form of freedom - advocated by Amartya Sen and Jeffrey Sachs. The results indicate that the guidelines that subsidize the development of public policies presented by UNESCO consider aspects related to ensuring access and distribution, the regulation of rights, promotion of conditions of technology ownership, the replicability and sustainability of programs, as well as evaluation and monitoring, provisioning of resources for implementation, team building and professionals showing alternatives on possible solutions to this challenge to humanity. They have, however, revealed some important gaps in relation to actions for the proactive use of technology in favor of a movement of change and awareness for intervention in economic, political and human realities. It was concluded that public policies that require the integration of technology in promoting literacy and facing conditions of illiteracy should be central in the propositions of a high-level of education plan for a nation where the guarantee of freedom, autonomy and the exercise full citizenship for all could achieve its social, cultural, economic and human wants / A presente pesquisa partiu da constatação da inexistência de políticas públicas que prevejam a apropriação das tecnologias da informação e comunicação para a promoção da alfabetização da população jovem e adulta como direito inalienável do ser humano. A análise foi realizada sobre dois documentos ICT to develop Literacy e ICT in Education Toolkit for Policy Makers, Planners and Practitioners.
