The project of European economic and monetary union is unique in its range and depth. The new member states were not granted an opt-out clause and that is why they are obliged to become part of the euroarea in the future. Therefore any experience of those EU member states which already adopted the euro should be useful for them. Particular most useful lessons may be learned from the experience of Greece as these countries share some common features. From this reason more detailed study of EMU and single currency and their effects on Greek economy may be worth.

The goal of the thesis "The Greek and Roman reformers" is to establish representative summary and comparison of the actions of the most important political figures of ancient Greece and Rome, that significantly influenced the power structure of society, and also a comparison of then political systems as such. It is focused especially on concrete actions and legislative, especially constitutional, changes initiated by the selected reformers, it also deals with personal motivations and a brief biographical informations. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part deals with Greece, particularly Athens, and tracks the causes, origin, evolution and the victory of democracy, but also problems associated with it, and the main actors in this process, namely Solon, it's founder, who was not entirely consistent in suppressing the power of the wealthy ones, radical democrat Cleisthenes and his decisive steps towards equality and the removal of the aristocratic regime, and charismatic Pericles, who, though accused of populism and demagogy, gave a decisive impetus to the Athenian political, cultural and power development and within his epoch the democracy has achieved its peak. Almost half of the annual pharmaceutical expenses accrued by the so called expensive drugs special category. Almost half of the annual turnover of community pharmacies is of the OTCs and the negative list of medicines. So examine the aspects of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) within deepened economic crisis in Greece in order to find professional solutions for the near future as well as by means of survival. We deal with European surrounding and the present situation in basic education and continual training of community pharmacies in Greece taking into account the assumption that community pharmacies are part of the primary health care. The paper will be devoted to the problem of land division between Greek citizens in ancient Greece from the theoretical and practical point of view. The focus will be especially in the researches documenting the development of rural regions of the Crimean peninsula ( Chersonesos, Panskoe,...), Taman peninsula and south Italy (Metapont). It will try to find parallels but also to show the regional differences between these areas. Diploma thesis describes the development and prospects of greek economy, mainly focused on Economic adjustment programme for Greece introduced in May 2010. Main chapter introduces the goals of the programme and design of main reforms. Estimates of further economic development and the possible restructuring of greek debt was presented.

This thesis describes Greek and Irish economy in circumstances of world economic crisis. It studies the state of those economies in the course of membership in European Union, basic macro-economic characteristics and fundamental reasons for recession. Enhanced focus is put on fiscal politics of both countries, because in moment public finances present a big challenge for them. With respect to the present debt crisis the thesis offers an overview of steps made or being made to correct the current situation. An implementation of a fiscal union is also discussed as a next neccessary level of an European integration. It also thinks over the the future development of EU and sustainability of a common currency.

This graduate thesis is focused on a tourism issue in Greece. Due to the wide spectrum of the existing product, is this thesis concentrate on only one segment, the excursions tour. In the first section of this thesis are defined the most important terms in the field of tourism. The following parts characterized the chosen destination, which is Greece republic. In the next part of this graduate thesis is analyzed the current supply of excursion tours. The four excursion tours are designed based on the results from previous analyze. These designed excursion tours supposed to fill the gap on the tourism market and to enhance current supply.

This diploma thesis deals with selected economic and non-economic characteristics of Greece. First, provides basic geographic and economic information on Greece and information on historical developments in the country since the Second World War. Then we look at the current economic situation of the Greece and public administration. The last part is focused on the characteristics of the Greek regions, not only through economic characters.
