The subject of the diploma thesis is to design a redevelopment of railway station Horni Cerekev, in order to meet current traffic and legislation on access of persons with reduced mobility. Two platforms with the platform edge height of 550 mm above the top of the rail have been designed. The amount of five running tracks through the station remains unchanged. Furthermore, the railway superstructure, railway substructure and conceptual design of space in front of the station.

This diploma thesis deals with modernization design of railway station Vranovice for 200 km/h speed according to a traffic demand and actual legislation not only in sectinon of access of people with mobility or orientation disability. The design consists of track direction and height adjustment including railway superstructure and substructure, and 2 island platforms which platform edge height is 550 mm above the top of the rail.

As part of the work, a new railway solution for the station will be proposed to increase the speed to 200 km / h, including the design of the railway superstructure, substructure and overall drainage. Furthermore, a total peronization will be proposed using two island platforms with a boarding edge height of 550 mm above the top of the rail.

The purpose of this thesis is to draw out historical progress of the railway and railway transport in our land, to emphasize the necessity of railway transport in post-war renewal and to point out undesirable effects of state intervention and nationalization of railways. In the opening part are described the beginnings of railway transport in our land and is emphasized importance of particular railway lines in light of their utilize after the Second World War and after changing our foreign business orientation after the year 1948 as well. Furthermore is point out the necessity of the railway after the Second World War when the economy required fast consolidation and the railway played significant role. Other part of the thesis deals with comparison of the railway transport and the automobile transport with emphasis on state intervention in favour of the railway transport after the First Word War. The economic part of this thesis is influenced by Austrian economic school and describes the problems of nationalization of railways and their unintended effects.

The master´s thesis deals with the reconstruction design of Kyjov railway station. The solution is aimed at meeting the traffic requirements, modifying the layout of the platforms and access routes for the safe movement of people with reduced mobility and orientation. The proposal deals with rail crossing in accordance with current legislations. In this thesis is proposed renewal of drainage.

The thesis is focused on the rail transport in terms of tourism. The aim was to highlight the importance of railway transport in tourism, the comparison of railway operators in the Czech Republic and project proposal preparation of the of the tourism product. The importance of rail traffic is capture with respect to all the touristic, occasional, nostalgic or charter trains and regular trains transport. The comparison of railway operators is access not only from the perspective of individual operators, their services and train equipment, but also from the perspective of the traveler and their satisfaction with the services offered. Based on the findings of the situational analysis and carried out field research are design proposals measures and the tourism product compiled.
