The subject of the the diploma thesis is the evaluation the current state of lifelong learning in the govermental and non-govermental non-profit sectors. The aim of the thesis to suggest possibilities for lifelong learning in govermental and non-govermental non-profit sectors. The thesis focuses on reasons which lead workers to increase the level of their achieved education and to participate in educational workshops. It deals with the state of employer or company support. Its theoretical part is based on studying of documents. For conducting the practical part there were chosen particular authorities and organizations where a quantitative survey using a standardized questionnaire and qualitative research using semi-structured interviews were done. The collected data were analyzed and the conclusion stated. Diploma thesis shows the way for the improvement of work with employees who lack the necessary education.

Edukace pacientů s pankreatitidou v oblasti režimových opatření / Education of patients with pancreatitis in the regime measures

The aim of this thesis is to find out what is the current situation of patients suffering from pancreatitis. Pancreatitis is a very serious and increasingly widespread illness, thus, it is important to know how to fully and professionally educate patients suffering from this illness. As there is a great lack of information, brochures and seminars, this thesis will make up a brochure informing and educating patients suffering from pancreatitis sufficiently. The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and an empirical one. The theoretical part contains detailed information about pancreas inflammation. Its causes, symptomps, diagnosis and treatment. There is also a sample diet that should be followed, and a description of nursing such types of patients. Further on, terms such as education and andragogy are explained, their methods, forms or motivation. The second, empirical part is dedicated to research. Based on the set goals and research questions, answers are given via qualitative research via semi-structured interviews carried out in Tábor hospital and České Budějovice hospital. The research file consisted of general nurses working in the above-mentioned hospitals, and patients suffering from pancreatitis in either urgent or chronic form. Data was collected from February to March 2018. Having carried out the interviews and their processing into Microsoft Office Word, identificaton data for general nurses was created, as well as for the respondents. Subsequently, data collected via interviews was analysed, categorized, and coded. Data analysis has proven that educating patients suffering from pacreatitis is done insufficiently, nurses lack sufficient educational constructs as well as time devoted to education. Nevertheless, the research has also proven that although the nurses were lacking time, they were happy with the education.

The diploma thesis is theoretically empirical and deals with the current topic of motivation and barriers to further education of teachers at secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The author chose this topic, because it considers the topic to be important and included in the list of priority objectives of the Ministry of Education, which has long sought to increase professionalism and improve the working conditions of the teachers. In the first chapter there is a definition of the teaching profession according to professional literature, including the specifics of a secondary school teacher. It also focues on further education in the context of lifelong learning, especially in relation to further education of teachers. The main part of the chapter deals with the motivation of pedagogical staff for further education. The theoretical part ends with a chapter devoted to the career and professional development of teachers. The theoretical part of this thesis titled "Organization of Advanced Life Support Provider Course in the Czech Republic" deals with adult education from different perspectives. Firstly, it briefly discusses the history of adult education and then deals with emerging trends in human resource management and knowledge management (e.g. management by competencies, learning organization, etc.) in relation to education. Then clearly describes the area of adult education with a focus on training and mainly training of health care professionals. The last part of theoretical block describes the Advanced Life Support Provider course and teaching methods that are used during the course. The practical part presents the action research project, which includes quantitative methods, which represents two questionnaire surveys relates to the satisfaction of the course participants with the organization and practical usage of the taught techniques. The results of these surveys are high rate of satisfaction with ongoing organisation of the courses and also high rate of practical usage of the taught techniques. It deals with different approaches to adult education and personnel management, work roles of andragogy graduates and human resources officers. The thesis also pays attention to changes of university education system and alteration of further eduation. Empiric research is dedicated to employment of graduates of the study program Adult education and Personnel Management, it detects the work experience during their studies and focuses on whether the graduates find work in the desired profession or in the field of their studies. The empiric part also investigates whether educational stay or internship helps in finding a job after graduation. Development of creative skills of managers This graduation thesis deals with the creativity of managers as an essential condition to increase the productivity of a business. The first part of my thesis looks at the concept of creativity, including the concept of creativity as a process and complex of abilities. Apart from the above-stated, it contains a description of a biological-psychosocial model of creativity. The first part concludes that creativity development is possible. The second part of my thesis focuses on the issues of manager creativity and its importance. Attention is paid to internal and external barriers of creativity which can be removed to some degree by using the training methods of a lecturer and individual techniques of a manager. The end of my thesis shows a list of basic conditions of creativity development in an organisation. This knowledge can be used by lecturers training adults, managers or HR staff members.

RESUMÉ The purpose of this thesis was to outline the current state of catechesis in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church and basic regularities of the andragogic discipline as the science of adult education. We put these findings in the context of adult life, which is based in the postmodern era and secularized society. The first chapter dealt with the specifics of contemporary life and the needs of the post-modern man living in a secularized world. In the second chapter we entered the path of God's Word. We interpret the Word of God in the theology of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church and pointed out the personal / personalistics dimension of the relationship between man and God In the third chapter, we introduce catechesis as a theological discipline. We captured its mission and emphasis from theoretical and practical point of view, and we have followed with the fourth chapter and the specific concept of catechesis in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. We focused on its development, legislative basis and especially methods of catechesis. The fifth chapter describes andragogy as a scientific discipline. Vzdělávání dospělých na základních uměleckých školách / Adult Education at Basic Art Schools

The thesis focuses on art education of adults, more specifically on art education of adults at basic art schools in Prague and Central Bohemia. The thesis discusses the low frequency of exploiting of this kind of education and its reasons and presents suggestions to broaden education of adults at basic art schools. Theoretical part of the thesis defines leisure education of adults at the beginning and continues with definition of cultural and aesthetic education of adults, while it focuses on art and music education. The final chapter of theoretical part describes basic art schools and their associations. Statistical and other data connected to edult education at basic art schools in Prague and Central Bohemia are analysed in analytical part of the thesis. The research is completed with a questionnaire inquiry and is followed by suggestions for more frequent exploiting of adult education at basic art schools.
