Nástroj pro tvorbu spustitelných procesů Flowly / Tool for creating executable processes Flowly

Procházka, Jan January 2017 (has links)
Flowly is a tool for iBPMS packages, as are these intelligent suites for process management nicknamed by Gartner. These are technologies that make it possible to create and execute processes. Development of processes for these platforms goes through standard IT delivery cycle even for trivial and routine processes. Goal of this thesis is to create a tool for creating runnable business processes based on IBM Business Process Manager platform. The tool will allow creation of executable processes without programming or deep technical knowledge. Processes are created using a wizard like configurator in which processes can be drawn, users have ability to add data to the process, notifications, define SLAs and use other features. Tool created within this thesis is a workflow tool, which is a subset of iBPMS suites. The goal of this thesis is achieved by defining general functionalities of workflow tools which lay down basis of functionalities Flowly should contain. Following chapters describe in detail the creation of the tool, from initial analysis and design to technical details of implementation and user documentation. Benefits of the tool lie in simplicity of creating processes in iBPMS suites, increased agility of the company, when the creation and deployment of new process is shifted into the order of days and in massive reduction of cost of routine processes and agendas due to reduced IT involvement.

Optimalizace procesů v obchodní společnosti / Process optimization in a trade company

Kašpar, Václav January 2015 (has links)
The diploma thesis focuses on application of a chosen BPM methodology in a real trade company with the aim of optimization of its processes, identification of the possible improvement areas and proposing measures leading to an increase of the efficiency of the company. One BPM methodology is chosen based on a methodology comparison in the introductory part of the work. A description of the trade company and a process analysis follows. Then an identification of the improvement potential is done and limits of the improvement potential are found followed by the projects proposed, which should lead to an increase of the efficiency of the company's processes. This thesis produces an overview of chosen BPM methodologies and approaches, brings up the results of the process analysis in a real trade company, and proposes a set of project for realization. Ultimately the work done demonstrates a procedure of BPM methodology implementation in a small trading company, which may be replicated in another similar firm.

Developing a managerial framework for e-contracting in the agricultural business environment / J. Aubrey Marais

Marais, Aubrey January 2013 (has links)
The aim of this study is to conduct a thorough theoretical study on developing a managerial framework for replacing paper based contracts with e-contracts in the agriculture environment in the North-West Province. Every business should adapt to the current economic environment, especially new technology, and need to consider the risk and reward within the industry. Businesses should analyse any new processes and investigate its impact and whether a competitive advantage is created. An extensive literature study has been conducted on the factors that could assist to develop a managerial framework. Firstly, CRM - a good CRM system will improve customer service and increase customer satisfaction, which will yield more loyalty. Secondly, improved technology will shorten the value chain by adding more value to each product or service. Thirdly, new technology, such as e-contracting, will reduce the time it takes to contract with customers and reduce the overall processing costs. Fourthly, training is crucial for any business to be successful. Fifthly, Business Process Management (BPM) system will assist a business to implement a new process. Lastly, it is important to investigate what resistance to change a business can expect. An empirical research has been conducted to investigate the effect what e-contracting has on the agriculture environment in the North-West Province in order to enable the author to develop a managerial framework to assist an agriculture business to improve customer service. It could be concluded that there is a good linkage between the results of this study and the literature. A managerial framework that can be used for the purpose of replacing paper based contracts with e-contracts in the agriculture environment in the North-West Province, has been proposed. / MBA, North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2014

Coordination explicite d'activités coopératives

Charoy, François 23 May 2008 (has links) (PDF)

Charge Equalization of Batteries in Serial Power Modules

Hong, Wei 03 August 2010 (has links)
The charge equalization for the battery power source with battery power modules (BPMs) in series is presented in the thesis. The bidirectional power converters in BPMs are able to serve as chargers with buck conversion during the charging stage. Even though connected in series, all modules can substantially be operated individually, retaining the advantages of independent operation, such as flexible control, easy protection, simple maintenance, and favorable battery power management. Investigation results indicate that automatic charge equalization is possible for the discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) operation. On the other hand, charge equalization can be achieved much faster by individually regulating the charging currents at the continuous conduction mode (CCM). According to the analyzed results, an equalization strategy is proposed to solve the charge imbalance problem by scheduling the individual battery current. Experiments are carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of charge equalization.

Balanced Discharging for Serial Battery Power Modules

Yu, Li-ren 28 August 2012 (has links)
This thesis investigates the discharging behavior of serial boost-type battery power modules (BPMs). Even though the BPMs are connected in series to cope with a higher output voltage, all batteries in the BPMs can substantially be operated individually so that can realize the balanced discharging control strategy. By which, the battery currents are scheduled in accordance with their state-of-charges (SOCs).A battery power system formed by 10 boost-type BPMs is built, in which a micro controller is used for detecting the loaded voltages, estimating the SOCs, and controlling the duty ratios of the power converters. Experimental results demonstrate the balanced discharging capability of the serial BPMs. In addition, fault tolerance mechanism is introduced to isolate fault or exhausted batteries and keep the system working with a reduced load.

The Evaluation of Business Process Modeling Tools

Chu, Kai-Min 24 October 2001 (has links)
¡@Business process doesn¡¦t change with technology or business objectives following with the change of environment outside enterprises. Hence, enterprises require business process improvement or BPR to improve the existing business processes. When enterprises demand business process improvement or BPR, they can¡¦t analyze and improve business process without business process modeling. Choosing an adequate tool form numerous business process modeling and analysis tools is an important work. Therefore, author chooses 4 mature tools, ARIS, IDEF, UML and INCOME to discuss. ¡@In my thesis, author enumerate the advantages and comment of each tool at first, then using a material requiring and purchasing to stock process as an example to prove the advantages. Then, Based on the 4 perspectives concluded by Curtis and Kellner, et al. to develop further factors under each perspective. Concluding the evaluating criteria under each factor to evaluate business process modeling tools. And to present each tools about business process modeling.
