The diploma thesis deals with the posibility of using bibliotherapy as a form of reeducation in children with dyslexia. The diploma thesis contains theoretical knowledge about the isme of dyslexia and the definitiv of the expressive method - bibliotherapy. The theoretical part also presents findings from the use of bibliotherapy specifically in children with dyslexia. The practical part deals with the application of thein own bibliotherapeutic material in children diagnosed with dyslexia agend 9 to 11 years and its evaluation. The practical material is focused on the development of impaired congnitive functions in children with dyslexia. The main goal of this work is to evaluace the extent to which the propřed material can be used in reeducation in children with dyslexia. KEY WORDS dyslexia, reeducation, bibliotherapy.

Využití biblioterapie u dětí s ADHD staršího školního věku / Using of bibliotherapy for older school age children with ADHD

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of bibliotherapy and possibilities of its use in older school age children with ADHD diagnosis. The objective of this thesis is to create, to implement and to evaluate a bibliotherapeutic program for the defined group. The first theoretical chapters defines the concept of bibliotherapy, its types, forms, objectives and the process of compiling the bibliotherapic program. The next chapters describes the ADHD disorder, its etiology, diagnostics, ADHD manifestations and the treatment and education of a child with ADHD. The last theoretical chapter describes the use of bibliotherapy for children with ADHD in our country and abroad. The practical part occupies with layout of a bibliotherapeutic program and its implementation. It is focused on the development of social skills and self-reflection and also on attention training for children with ADHD. The program have been done with a small group of boys with ADHD aged 13 - 15. Structured and unstructured observations and unstructured interview was used as a research method. The results of the research refer to the benefits and risks of bibliotherapeutic work with children with ADHD.

The aim of this research is to determine the therapeutic possibilities in music and books, in group work with middle aged deprived children. Deprivationwith children is an encompassing problem which social workers daily grapple with. A lack of sufficientknowledgeabout deprivationand sufficientknowledgeon the way inwhich to solve the problemmakesit essentialto do researchon the subject. Literature analysis and an empirical research are the two methods used in this study. The literature analysis focuses on the characteristics of the child client, the value of play for the child and the different ways of playing. This is followed by an explanation of the development of the normally developed middle aged child compared to that of the deprived middle aged child. The therapeutic possibilitiesof music and books is also discussed. Experimental research was used for this empirical research. An experimental group and a controlled group was compiled out of deprived middle aged children. Measurements were taken before and afterwards according to an adapted Hudson scale. Music, books and other therapeutic resources were used in the group work with the experimental group. The hypothesis states that the therapeutic use of music and books in work with groups amongst deprived middle aged children results in improvements of behaviour and relationships. This thesis aims to introduce the notion of bibliotherapy and its application in public library environment. The text is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the notion of bibliotherapy itself is introduced, together with questions of who is engaged in this field, as well as the effects of reading. There are presented several book titles which belong to bibliotherapeutic literature. The substantial part of the thesis is then built on specific examples of bibliotherapy practiced in public libraries in the Czech Republic, as well as abroad. The practical part features first an interview with Mrs Marcela Kořínková who actively engages in bibliotherapy; second, there is a proposal of implementation of a bibliotherapeutic department in an imaginary public library, and last, there is a research presenting the wide public's awareness of, and interest in the field of bibliotherapy.

End of the paper offers some solutions and directions in which the library for patients in hospitals could go in the future.

Title of the diploma thesis: Use of promotive therapy and stimulation in hospice care Aim of the thesis: Possible use of promotive therapy and stimulation in therapy of patients in hospice care is discussed in this diploma thesis. The aim of thesis is to compare use these therapies in hospice facilities that provide accommodation for clients or in home hospice care in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic and to analyze way of its use in praxis. For purpose of this thesis following promotive therapies and stimulation were selected: music therapy, art therapy, bibliotherapy, basal stimulation and concept Snoezelen. Methods of work: Quantitative and qualitative investigation was used for research. Quantitative investigation in form of questionnaires provided to hospice facilities with accommodation for clients was utilized as a method for data acquisition. Observation of practical promotive therapies processes in hospice facilities with accommodation for clients was included in methodology of qualitative investigation. Results: Research deals with death and dying which is still quite often taboo theme in our conditions. This fact is perceptible in results of research investigation. Diploma thesis Usage of bibliotherapy for vocabulary building of scholar in preparatory class of primary school deals with the usage and efficiency of bibliotherapy as a tool for vocabulary development of children in preparatory class of primary school. The work consists of two main parts. The first is the theoretical part, which mentions the specifics of the preschool period especially in relation to the development of speech, specifically vocabulary. Also summarizes the existing knowledge about bibliotherapy and its usage in preschool children. The second is a practical part. The aim of this part is to design a complete bibliotherapeutic program focused on the development of active and passive vocabulary in five selected categories (animals, occupation, food, transport and emotions). By means of actions research is subsequently verifies the program's usability in practice and considers the possible adoption of a new approach to vocabulary strengthening of preschool children. To illustrate the success of the program, two comparative groups are included in the research, the results of each group are used to compare the progress achieved.
