Diploma Thesis deals with costing and preparation of bids in the transport department of Logistics Company. Analyzed company annually participates in a large numbers of tenders for logistics provider. The aim of diploma thesis is to find critical points and propose a possible method of calculations, which has been missing. Practical section is split into two parts. In first part is using modified calculation formula calculated cost per kilometer. Work continues with two case studies, where are described the most problematic issues and suggested solutions. In the end of work is proposed new methodology of preparing commercial studies which can company use in future.

Diploma thesis is focused on two main measurement concepts -- historical cost and fair value. The aim is to interpret fair value as a measurement base used to assign value to non financial assets, and compare it with well-known historical cost base. In context with historical cost measurement, attention is also paid to impairment meaning a decrease in carrying amount of an asset. Major part of the thesis deals with fair value measurement according to the new accounting standard IFRS 13. The thesis is concluded with practical survey about the use of fair value as a measurement base for non financial assets in practice.

The topic of the diploma thesis is a comparison of evaluation methods of family houses in the Czech and Slovak Republic, a legislation in relation to the evaluation in mentioned countries and a definition of particular terms: family house, value and price. There are basic methods of the evaluation of the immovable property used in Czech and Slovak Republic described in this thesis. The important part of the thesis is an analysis of the real estate market. On the basis of this analysis were chosen two comparable localities. Methods of the evaluation of the immovable property were applied on specific cases. Chosen family houses were valued at the common price, time price and ascertained price. The result of the diploma thesis is the comparison of evaluation methods used in the Czech and Slovak Republic.

This thesis aims at clarifying the relationship between the value of the plot and the optimization, modernization or construction of a new line structure, especially a large scale line structure such as a railway or a road. This thesis was written in order to determine more precisely the total amount for the purchase, rental, and setting-up of easements on the plots affected by the construction. Upon calculating the budget price all the factors affecting the value of the plot are not emphasized now. Thus, the aim is to match the budget price as closely as possible with the financial resources which were actually spent. In most cases these structures fall under the category of “structures in the public interest”, and so they comply with respective legal regulations. What is essential is the database of affected plots whose value changes depending on the change of their use, character, and attractiveness based on the respective legal regulations. The thesis attempts at obtaining as much information as possible on the behaviour of the plot owner and construction investor from a large database of affected plots, and to cover the development of the value affected by the construction both in positive and negative terms.

A vertex cover of a given graph is a vertex set including at least one endpoint from every edge. A vertex cover number τ is the size of a minimum vertex cover. If the vertices from a vertex cover are required to induce a connected subgraph, the resulting set is called a connected vertex cover. The corresponding parameter τc is called a connected vertex cover number. The decision versions of both problems are NP-complete. To better understand a relation between these two vertex cover numbers, Cardinal and Levy define the price of connectivity as a ratio between τc and τ. It is not surprising that determining whether the price of connectivity of a given graph is at most t is NP- hard. The notion of price of connectivity can be extended for more graph properties, such as for the dominating set. The price of connectivity has already been investigated in several papers, with some focusing on critical graphs whose price of connectivity is strictly greater than the price of connectivity of every induced subgraph. This thesis provides an overview of the current state of research into the price of connectivity. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to create a design for a growing baby bed for children between the ages of 0 and 7 and the subsequent possible use as a desk that will respect the normative requirements of all three groups. In the theoretical part, the author gives a look at historical solutions, contemporary solutions and the relationship between materials and technology. The practical part of the diploma thesis will be the design of a growing child's bed, respecting the requirements of the normative and questionnaire surveys. The result of the thesis will be not only the design and technical drawings in the CAD program, but also the BOM and direct quantification of material costs for the product.
