The values politicians relate with public administration are likely to affect the way that they want the public administration to be organised. The purpose of this study is therefore to examine which values Swedish parliamentary parties relate with public administration and more particularly how they emphasise these values. The study is conducted as an analysis of theoretically relevant bills that the government party and the parliamentary parties have introduced to the Riksdag, and reports and statements of opinion from the parliamentary committees. The documents are from the Riksdag´s sessions from 2000/01 to 2005/06. After examining the documents the conclusion can be drawn that the value that is most emphasised during the period is legal security. This might mean that legal security will have more influence on the decisions taken about the organisation of Swedish public administration.

The aim of this final thesis is to evaluate the economic efficiency of the realisation of a shopping center project. We can devide this work into two parts. The first one is concerning the theoretical explanation of an investment project, its financial aspects and the criteria for evaluating its economic efficiency. The second part focuses on the evaluation of the Tilla shopping center project according to the previous theoretical description. This evaluation is made by the net present value, the index of rentanility and the internal rate of return. In addition to the previous criteria there are the financial stability and the economic value added calculated to obtain a global view of this investment project.

This Diploma Thesis is focused on initial and operating costs. At first we calculated price for all building and for its other parts, which was calculated by program used for budgeting. After that we calculated partial costs which were done only for specific parts of the construction. These parts were changed and due to these changes we were finding out differences in heat losses and initial costs. Than for individual rooms we were defining heat losses. In this rooms, radiators were designed to cover its heat losses. By summarization of all heat gains we find out boiler´s power and this boiler was used in our building. After that we calculated initial costs for heating system includes radiators and boiler. In the end we compared both kinds of heating systems due to one year operating costs. Results were used for defining final heating system which is the most economic efficiential.

The diploma thesis is focused on evaluation of efficiency and feasibility of the project. In the theoretical part, there are described extensive issues of feasibility study. The thesis deals with evaluation of project effectiveness and its risks. The practical part analyzes the current unsatisfactory condition of a particular building. There are designed and processed two alternative solutions of the project including their evaluation. These solutions were compared with each other and presented to the investor.

The diploma thesis is focused on evalution of efficiency and risks of the project implemnted by the municipality. The theoretical part defines the issue of building investments, public project, and indicators of economic efficiency of investments. Risk analysis is described here. The practical part is focused on the economic evaluation of the effectiveness and risk analysis of the project implemented by the municipality.

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of economic efficiency of investment projects in transport infrastructure in the Czech Republic. The evaluation of road and motorway infrastructure projects is carried out according to the methodological documents of the Ministry of Transport, the State Fund for Transport Infrastructure and the Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Republic. As changes in methodological procedures have taken place in recent years, the diploma thesis deals with the resulting values of economic efficiency indicators, especially with net present value. The thesis analyzes the basic calculation formula for the evaluation of road and motorway infrastructure, which is an integral part of the evaluation of road projects. There are also described fundamental methodological changes regarding, for example, the calculation of the residual value of the project at the end of the reference period or the change in the discount rate. The changes are applied to a case study of a specific section of the Czech transport industry. It evaluates their impact on the final value of the critical indicator of economic efficiency, which is the net present value.

The Master’s thesis deals with the energy savings of a prefabricated house. In the theoretical part, the issue of investment and risk management are first dealt with. Afterwards, the thesis deals with large panel construction in the Czech Republic, energy performance of buildings, heat losses, and especially methods for invesment appraisal. The main objective of the thesis is the economic analysis and the life-cycle analysis. The case study deals with the calculation of saving on heating the prefabricated house after its refurbishment and calculation of economic indicators.

This engineering company is currently carrying out the modernization of production workshops and service operations in order to increase the company's competitiveness on the international level. As part of this modernization, the company decided to invest in new production equipment. Using selected procedures and methods for assessing the economic efficiency of investments is examined whether the investment is beneficial for the company.

This master’s thesis deals with evaluating an investment project of company XYZ,a.s. It’s a new technology for cutting material to replace old and worn production equipment. The new technology should enable an increase production capacity at new equipment and increase efficiency in production. In this thesis I deal with evaluation of the effectiveness acquisition of new equipment with the help of selected methods. The main aim is to determine, whether the investment in to new equipment for the selected business is profitable.
