In the competitive environment that companies not only target on the improvement the efficiency in their delivery system but also redefine how supply chain should function in order to operate more effective from original supply to final consumption. A lot of firms have now cooperated together in the supply chain instead of fighting alone to deal with the competition in this global environment market place. Therefore, in the supply chain management, information sharing is important to effective coordination between partners.
This research aims to develop an Architecture-Oriented model for the Supply Chain Information Sharing management. In this model, the interaction between organizations, structure elements, systems, and information sharing for the Supply chain management are well defined. Adopting this model, management can understand and control the entire supply chain more easily. Also, this model can help management make the better decision so management can more effective to collect the important information of organizational structures and behaviors for what are needed.
Architecture-Oriented Supply Chain Information Sharing Management Model (AOSCISMM) is based on the enterprise architecture theory and method. Using the structure-behavior coalescence (SBC) approach to simulate the Supply Chain Information Sharing Management Model, we are able to fully express the situation of organizational structure, business processes, and information systems clearly to reduce business reengineering risks. The major achievement of this research is to advise a new model for better supply chain information sharing management and also bring the new vision for the supply chain management of information sharing.

Since recent financial crisis triggered world economy recession, most of the corporations are facing financial downturn. To survive in the recession, some measurements are taken to increase revenue and reduce expense. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is one of those measurements which are used by corporation managers to enhance business operations and retain old customers.
In Lee¡¦s research, 70% corporations adopting CRM failed. Introducing a system into business operation is not the only key point; customer-centered corporation culture and structure are some other key points. Successful CRM operation coordinates CRM strategy, organization, process, tool and final evaluation to support services continuously. This study focuses on constructing an acceptable CRM model to minimize the investments of time, money and man power when adopting CRM, and reduce the possibility of failure.
In this study, we follow Enterprise Architecture (EA) theory and use the Structure-Behavior Coalescence Architecture Description Language (SBC-ADL) as a tool to create the architecture-oriented CRM model (AOCRMM). SBC-ADL integrates the views of structure, behavior and others, so that it integrates organizational structures and organizational behaviors into a single model. Comparing to traditional CRM models which organizational structures and organizational behaviors are separated, the AOCRMM provides a more holistic way, than traditional CRM models, to describe how the CRM operates.

With the prosperity of information technology, the hospital introduces the high-tech equipment and information systems to improve patient-centered clinical care capability and efficiency. Because of structural changes in the medical environment, the traditional modes of care have many impacts. This study combines the enterprise architecture (EA) theory with evidences and experiences of clinical care, including suggestions of supervisors and colleagues. Our purpose is to find out a description tool for patient-centered clinical care, and to improve communication and interaction among personnel, equipment, and system, leading to the development of architecture-oriented clinical care model (AOCCM).
This study uses structure-behavior coalescence architecture description language (SBC-ADL) to construct a multiple view integrated AOCCM. AOCCM is a patient-centered blueprint which includes architecture hierarchy diagram, framework diagram, component operation diagram, component connection diagram, structure-behavior coalescence diagram, and interaction flow diagram. Comparing with existing clinical care model from various kinds of views, all logical results demonstrate that AOCCM is superior to the existing model.
The methodology of architecture-oriented covers the organizational structure, caring behavior, and the relationship between patients and hospitals, to systematically show the face of clinical care. Accordingly, AOCCM helps a great deal care staffs achieve effective consensus in corporate communications and new staffs accomplish systematical learning in clinical studies.

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) has been widely applied to crack down crimes. However, the comprehensive set-up of the CCTV in public space was controversial in terms of the issues of human rights, law, regulation, and of applications to detecting crimes. As the integration and application of CCTV are getting popular, it seems to be significant to explore the dilemmas of applying CCTV to collect information and meantime protecting people¡¦s privacy.
The study is based on the architecture-oriented (AO), applying the method of situational crime privation (SCP) and architecture descriptive language (ADL) under the frame of Structure-Behavior Coalescence (SBC) of Enterprise Architecture (EA), to achieve the following goals:
(1) to investigate the current CCTV management and regulation,
(2) to construct a more appropriate CCTV management model,
(3) to assure the public by making public the CCTV application procedure
In the end, to increase the reliability and validity of the study, systematic observation approach was added to testify the operative and regulative procedures of using CCTV.

Many software development projects were not able to meet their deadlines with expected qualities under budgets. Basically, it was because the stakeholders and the de-velopment team sharing different expectations and misunderstanding the essence of how software was built. In most cases, the budget and resources were allocated according to the Functional Requirements, which described the features about the software. But on the contrary the development teams were striving in making decision about how to mitigate those Non-functional Requirements which were not included in the budget during the development cycle. However, to mitigate the Non-functional Requirements is not without a price, and letting development team impose resources arbitrarily will make software budget estimation more complicated and worse. This research pointed out what Non-functional Requirements should be abides by the international standard ISO 9126, offered a relatively accurate budget estimation framework. The framework showed how the stakeholders and the development team reach the consensus about the software, how to integrate with Cost Accounting to monitor the budget distribution and to implicate how software should be scheduled and estimated the cost for next coming projects.

However, as estimated profits climb, difficulties also rises: an increase on raw material costs, strengthened environmental policies, and competition between service providers that makes it even harder to run a business. While these problems are often the main focus of business operation and management, pressure resulting from challenges should not blur the importance of business process reengineering.
This study aims to construct an architecture-oriented model for the purpose of network product operational management. This model will provide a detailed description of the components and component operations of the network product business organization, the network product business system, and the relationship between information flow, and the coalescence and interaction of the organization and system. This study will also analyze and compare, in terms of organization, system, and behavior, both the non architecture-oriented and architecture-oriented, on the network product business management.
In this study, the architecture-oriented network product business management model (AONPBMM) is based on the theory and application of enterprise architecture; in addition, the model includes the concept of structure-behavior coalescence architecture (SBC architecture) and the six fundamental diagrams. AONPBMM has the advantage of displaying lucidly the structure and operations of the organization, business behaviors, and information flows. It is simple, comprehensible, and communicable. As managers and employees within the enterprise shall easily comprehend the interactions and communications between different sections by using this model, a huge amount of time could be preserved for individual works, and the enterprise would become more competitive.

As the globalization trend going on, the Taiwan¡¦s steel import tariff has been reduced to almost nil customs duties after joining in the World Trade Organization. Taken to be a result of continuous investment in enhancing and enlarging output capabilities made by local steel manufacturers, the domestic steel markets are showing a tendency to a surplus status of supply over demand. The steel companies in Taiwan are faced with much stricter economic surrounding. Therefore, it is first priority that any enterprise must do well on internal improvement in order to keep its competitiveness.
This research aims to setup Architecture-Oriented Production Equipment Management Model (AOPEMM). The results will be provided to the coated/galvanized plate steel products as reference of the Production Equipment Management.
In this research, we first set up the roadmap of Architecture-Oriented Production Equipment Management Model. In the roadmap of AOPEMM, structure element diagrams, structure element service diagrams, structure behavior coalescence diagrams, and sequence diagrams are constructed accordingly. Through repeating of this construction, we then achieve an optimization of the AOPEMM.
We compare AOPEMM with Non-Architecture-Oriented Production Equipment Management Model (NAOPEMM) using six measurement indicators, such as organization, personnel, task, technology, communication interface and integration of the resources. Strength of AOPEMM and Weakness of NAOPEMM are validated to support the argument of this research.

Steel structure enterprises, belonging to domestic-oriented industry, are capital intensive and skill intensive as well. The ability of huge fund deployment and excellent project management is the key for such kind of enterprises to survive in the competitive environment due to the low entry barrier and little profit margin.
The cost of the material accounts for the most, usually the greatest proportion of the total contract, in an entire steel structure project. Therefore, the profit in general depends heavily on the quality of material management. In this thesis, we propose Architecture Oriented Steel Structure Material Scheduling Model (AOSSMSM), to capture the current material inventory, reduce the remaining stock, improve the circulation and substitutability, and increase the profit.
AOSSMSM constructs system architecture which includes enterprise architecture and software architecture, therefore highlights material¡¦s service and interaction among culture value chain in enterprise and integrates with information application system. By duplication and expansion characteristics of system architecture, AOSSMSM can be replicated effortlessly by other steel structure companies, or bridged to other models to create a new operational formation.

Information security, sometimes referred as enterprise security, plays a very important and professional role in the enterprises. Therefore, information security management is getting more and more popularity among the enterprises in recent years. Several aspects on information, such as technical documents, research and development plans, product quotations, are considered as core assets in one company. How to effectively manage and realize an information security system has become a key for a company¡¦s survival.
The international information security management standard, ISO 27001:2005, which includes personnel security, technology security, physical security and management security has been promulgated. When bringing in an information security management system, a company usually embraces the process-oriented approach which treats the system¡¦s structure view and behavior view separately. Separating structure view from behavior view during the planning phase may cause many difficulties, such as uneven distribution of resources, poor safety performance, bad risk management, poor system management and so on, when working on the later realization and verification phase of the information security management system¡¦s construction.
Up to date, there is no enterprise architecture theory for information security management system. This research utilizes architecture-oriented modeling methodology so that structure view and behavior view are coalesced when decomposing the information security management system to obtain structural elements and behaviors deriving from interactions among these structure elements. By adopting structure behavior coalescence, abbreviated as SBC, which includes ¡§architecture hierarchy diagram", "structure element diagram", "structure element service diagram", "structure element connection diagram", "structure behavior coalescence diagram", and "interactive flow diagram", this research constructs a complete architecture-oriented information security management model, abbreviated as AOISMM. This research is the first study using architecture-oriented approach to construct the information security management system. Also, AOISMM solves many difficulties caused by the process-oriented approach when constructing information security management systems. These are the contributions of this research.
