Previous issue date: 2010-05-24 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior / This study focuses on the initial formation of the pedagogue in college, especially the formation that takes place in the Pedagogy Course. It is bound by the following question: what senses are attributed by the Pedagogy Trainees regarding the relation between the Education Science knowledge and the Pedagogic Practice knowledge developed in the Pedagogy Course of UESB, in order to build up teaching knowledge
and practice? Therefore it aims to reflect on the relations between the Education Science framework and the Pedagogic Practice under the supervised classes that belong to the Pedagogy Course. It presents the implications and contextualizations concerning the pedagogue formation as a historic and cultural process, emphasizing the current moment of this formation. It is based on the idea that the senses trainees, future pedagogues, attribute to their own formation process reflect on the learning of theorical and practical knowledge that validates the process of teachers formation,
especially the pedagogue formation. Accordingly, it believes that the senses attributed by the students of teachers initial formation courses regarding the Education Science
knowledge and Pedagogic Practice knowledge are essential as organizers in the construction of teaching knowledge and practice while the supervised classes take place. The theorical and methodological option is based on the studies of Qualitative
Epistemology by Gonzalez Rey. Empiric studies took place at the Pedagogy Course of Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia (UESB), located in the city of Vit?ria da Conquista/Bahia. The students who took part in this research were six graduating
ones, enrolled in the last two semesters of the referred course, stage when the supervised classes happen. The procedures used in the organization of collected information consist of analysis of documents such as the mentioned course curricular
project and the students reports, besides interactive and provocative talks to the students. The results show the senses students attribute to Educational Science theorical basis to practice to Pedagogic Practice opportunity of feeling as if they were teachers and to the relation between Education Science and Pedagogic Practice opportunity of experiencing the relation between theory and practice. Besides, the
theorizations students have about the relation between theory and practice in teachers formation are also presented. Consequently, it is emphasized that the supervised classes are the moments in which the trainees might understand the relations between thought and pedagogic practice, building the senses attributed to the relation between the Education Science knowledge and the ones of Pedagogic Practice as organizers in the teaching knowledge and practice. In this context, the trainees build some knowledge regarding what it means to be a teacher, which is not written or published,
due to its subjective dimension, but circumscribed in their pedagogic practice while the supervised classes take place and when professional teaching practice becomes effective / Este estudo constitui uma oportunidade para refletir sobre as rela??es entre o arcabou?o te?rico pr?prio das Ci?ncias da Educa??o e sua rela??o com a pr?tica pedag?gica no ?mbito dos est?gios curriculares supervisionados do curso de
Pedagogia.
docente?

Previous issue date: 2017-12-04 / Inserted in the research of Foundations of Educational Processes, the Inclusive Special Education research in the Brazilian Education, Science and Technology Federal Institutes, the research aims at knowing the IFs (Federal Institutes) institutional actions in order to assist the Special Education public. This research is also characterized by: a) the accomplishment of bibliographic research with the production survey regarding the theme of books, articles, essays, thesis, among others; b) 2015 Documental research, legislation study and documents produced by institutions: 2015 Management Reports and c) data evaluation through submission of electronic forms to the ones institutionally in charge of actions to assist the Special Education public. A conceptual reflection was carried out concerning the recurrent terms in the empirical data analyzed, such as: inclusion, exclusion, accessibility, equality and equity, difference and diversity praising. Political and historical aspects of the Brazilian inclusive special education and the education federal net were also addressed. By examining the aspects of the politics and legislation, it was identified an emphasis related to the architectonic accessibility aspects rather than the pedagogical issues and the specialized educational assistance, that when mentioned, do not show many details of the activities performed. The essay also highlights that the organization of the pedagogical assistance practices and the arrangements of accessibility centers depend on the local managements in each institute, that is, different movements are being configured within the federal net and the dialogue among such institutions is almost inexistent, considering the Special Education. This way, the reference related to the Tecnep Program/Action is lost while the main managing group at MEC and the Special Education start having their own trajectory inside each IF, without the need of a program, a project, actions, campaign or any other national initiative, only having the observation of the current legislation as guideline. The difficulty of the local managers group regarding hiring human resources and the offer of continuing formation is also recurrent in the data as one of the adversities mentioned for the assistance of students with NEEs.

Previous issue date: 2017-09-25 / Policies for Professional and Technological Education assume, under the Lula government and follow the Dilma government, a new north based on expansion and reordering. The proposed measures were established as strategies focused on overcoming the years of decadence that the previous government instituted in this modality of education. Among the policies, it is Law No. 11,892 / 2008 that establishes the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology (FIs). From its legal constitution in 2008 through 2016, the quantitative growth of FIs was significant. According to the data available on the website of the MEC in 2009 were 350 campis and, in 2016, the Federal Network already had 618 units, distributed by all Federative Units. FIs are institutions that offer higher education, basic and professional, to offer professional and technological education in the different types of education. Through the expansion of these institutions across the country, the present research aims to analyze the conception of Professional and Technological Education that guides the performance of FIs in Brazil in the Lula and Dilma governments. The research will be based on the analysis of official documents related to the offer of professional and technological education in Brazil and theoretical references that address the categories: State, Social Policies and Professional and Technological Education. The study is based on a theoretical approach that takes into account the historical context, the social transformations and the relations between the subjects.

Ekonomické vzdělávání v padesátých letech 20. století na příkladu Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze / The economic education in the 50s of the 20th centuryHalíková, Petra January 2012 (has links)
The diploma thesis focuses on the topic of the economic education in the 50s of the 20th century. The issue is analyzed on the example of the University of Economics in Prague. The establishment of the University of Economics became an important milestone for the economic education in Czechoslovakia. The University of Economics was established in 1953 on the basis of the governmental regulation from 19th August 1952 No. 40/1952 Coll. regarding another changes in the organization of universities. It was stated that the studies would be for four years and the students would be able to choose from five faculties. This school was set up after the previous difficult development on the ground of the universities. The establishment of the University of Economics forewent cancelation, renaming and the establishment of different universities. These universities also concentrated on schooling in the area of economics. The legacy of the University of Economics can be seen in the continuity to the venerable University of Commerce, which belonged among the successful universities in our state. Furthermore, it undoubtedly helped to develop the origins of economics as a branch of science. The schooling on the universities in the 50s was influenced by Marxist-Leninist ideology, which was perceived as general truth at the time. The aim of the thesis is to clarify whether the University of Economics contributed to the development of the economic education in the 50s. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of the applied methodology. The applied methodology is a collection of knowledge - a social history. Moreover, there are discussed institutions and legislations foregoing the establishment of the University of Economics. In the practical part of the thesis is described the state of economics as a science in the 50s in Czechoslovakia and the importance of Marxism-Leninism and political economics for economy. In addition, there is outlined the development of economics as science during a certain period of time.

Life Science For Elementary TeachersDevine, Catherine 01 January 1990 (has links)
Science is taught at all grade levels, yet there exists a deficiency in the amount of emphasis placed on science training for elementary teachers. As a result, teachers often feel inadequate in their knowledge of scientific areas and in their ability to develop science process skills in their students. As a result in this lack of training, a need exists to provide programs to increase skill and confidence of elementary teachers not only in teaching science concepts but science process skills as well.
One means of meeting this need was the development of an activity-based, process-oriented inservice curriculum designed specifically for elementary science. The curriculum was designed as an inservice component of 60 hours that emphasized process skills as well as updating science concepts. The curriculum was designed for use in grades 1-6 and stressed "hands-on" experiences using readily available materials and a minimum of specialized equipment.
The curriculum was field tested as a component of the Clay county, Florida Summer Inservice Institute. Thirty eight teachers, whose teaching assignments ranged from kindergarten to sixth grade, participated in the field test.
At the beginning of the Institute, no participant scored 80% or better on a pretest of knowledge of concepts and process skills. Each participant completed each 'activity in the role of a student, including forming a hypothesis, collecting data, and drawing a conclusion. Activities were then discussed stressing process skills used and an indepth review of concepts involved. On the final day of the Institute, 84% of the participants scored 80% or better on the posttest. Furthermore, evaluations of the component by particiPants indicated a marked improvement in confidence in and enthusiasm for teaching science process skills. Overall the curriculum met the objective of increasing elementary teachers' ability and willingness to teach science process skills as well as science concepts.

Městský blok mezi ulicemi Údolni, Úvoz, Tvrdého, Všetičkova a Jiřikovskeho v Brně Podtitul: Ulice Údolni - urbanistické otazníky / City block between the streets valley, Úvoz, hardwood, Všetičkova and Jiříkovský in Brno Subtitle: Street valley - the urban question marksJánošíková, Zuzana January 2016 (has links)
My first task was urbanism of údolní street. Identify positive and negative areas and places. And propose solutions . After a thorough examination and analysis of the street, I found a few negative places. The first is space across the Obilní trh + complex of the ombudsman. In my opinion, this building does not fit here, and I replaced her apartment houses with a business parter, as it was in the history. In recent years, built a garden that connects the park to the Obilní trhy and Špilberk is a wonderful thing, namely how to combine two different types but beautiful parks. It will bring even more life to the area. The second negative place is already outdated hospital on the Obilní trh. In terms of its function I will be sorry it replace ordinary residential house, so I chose a home for the elderly Polyclinic. Why forget to the old people of the city? Some seniors like it. The third point is the area of University at the intersection Street and Úvoz Valley. My main thesis topic. I have long wondered with how this whole area can hold. It is a huge complex in the city center, where there is no life, so I decided to bring him there. And I think the help of students and young people who start their careers, I'll do it. The main function of the complex is education and science. In the old part on the street Údolní relocate Favu. With this relocation already counts as leadership of VUT, because they have fakulty in bad condition. This wing of the building of ports, which is a new modern auditorium, a library, and a new study department with the school. In the second wing of the historic street Úvoz goes something like a new start for students after school. The building has a lettable jobs, meeting rooms or areas for launching your business, or coworking. Simple building on the street Tvrdého is language school. Existing Institute of Forensic Medicine I'd changed his function at the primary art school. And because the area seemed to me a great and difficult to grasp, I decided to separate the bit where I created buildings. The supporting features such as a bistro, patisserie, bakery, minimarket, etc. Opposite the building in the complex construction of me was named the new incubators. On the ground floor of leasable space along with coworking. Three towers that stand out to me above the ground floor, I used to incubators, ie spaces for lease for the team who would love drove his bussines. Incubators and coworking are based on the idea to help young people with their ideas and plans. Enabling them to cheap labor where they could begin to form. The other point is the slope at Kraví hora, which offers a beautiful environment and it would be shame not to use it. Here is complemented by smaller blocks of flats and family houses with a studio. The last area is the building of existing Brněnka in the square. To complement the overall impression of my proposal, I would like to add here deal with a new restaurant. A residential building with commercial partners.

UCF Upward Bound Program promoting first generation in college, low income and multicultural students stem college successRestrepo, Christina 01 May 2011 (has links)
The objective of this research is to explore the perceptions of UCF Upward Bound Program participants using focus groups and pre-posttest surveys in order to assess students' level of understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) related coursework, secondary education preparation in science and mathematics, and their perceptions of barriers to a STEM college education. Also, this study centers on the summer 2010 science and mathematics residential portion of the Upward Bound Program. Program outcomes and effectiveness were evaluated based on the change in student insight of the Upward Bound Program's stake in their secondary education. In addition, pre-posttest measures and interviews allowed a greater understanding of teacher and parent involvement in high school coursework success. Factors that involve self-efficacy, same or other group orientation and perceptions of student college environment were also analyzed. This research facilitated the understanding of first generation, low income and multicultural student's perceptions and what they view as a benefit or a hindrance to entering and successfully completing degrees in post-secondary institutions, specifically in STEM-related disciplines.

The present investigation had as subject of study the teacher education policies for Professional and Technological Education (EPT in Portuguese). Reflecting on teacher education policies for EPT, in a model of society ruled by the capitalist and neoliberal logic, is a challenge that arises in our daily lives because we are actors and authors who make and remake, directly or indirectly, Brazilian education history. The thesis that guided this research was the lack of policies on teacher education for EPT. In this sense, the documentary analysis and literature surveys enabled us to realize that, throughout their history, policies in this area have not set yet as State policy, but rather as government programs that aim to facilitate and regulate the access for professionals (not teachers) to the classrooms of technological education. Regarding these policies, there are the relations among education, work and society. In this context, we discuss and confront the teacher education policies for EPT from the 1990s until today. This starting point, the 1990s, is due to the fact that it was a decade of expansion of college education in Brazil. However, our emphasis will start in 2007, with the implementation of Federal Institutes for Education, Science and Technology (IFETs in Portuguese), which, since then, are obligated to offer teaching degree courses, mission previously delegated to universities. In this context, we sought to understand the meanings and the materialization of the teaching profession in a context where a teaching degree is not a necessary requirement for professional practice, especially in institutions that have no previous experience in providing these kids of courses. The results showed the following situations: i) the materialization of lightened, discontinuous and fragmented teacher education courses programs for EPT; ii) the extraordinary expansion of the Federal Network for Education, Science and Technology has required a greater number of teachers for this level of education; iii ) we identified that the documents of PDIs and PPPs from the IFETs investigated follow MEC / SETEC policies iv) we noticed that some IFETs do not include professional education in basic education, therefore, they are dedicated to educate teachers for basic education, considering only elementary and high school; v) we identified a close link between the category of work and production models; vi) we found that, in New Developmental government of ex-President Lula, there was development of inclusive education policies, consolidated by the IFETs expansion, which, therefore, represented a considerable increase in jobs positions at all levels of professional education. However, we believe that Lula s government has left many conflict situations in order to reach its goal of social inclusion; vii) we perceived a lack of MEC's interest in discussing and regulating policies for teacher education for EPT and also in promulgating national guidelines for such education; and viii) we realized that the institutes themselves are organized in order to value teaching degrees so that they can ensure the requirement for this kind of degrees or special programs for teacher education, in order to practice teaching profession.
