Um artista às margens do Ipiranga: Oscar Pereira da Silva, o Museu Paulista e a reelaboração do passado nacional / An artist on the banks of Ipiranga : Oscar Pereira da Silva, the Paulista Museum and the reformulation of the national past.Lima Junior, Carlos Rogerio 30 March 2015 (has links)
This dissertation has the theme of the performance artist Oscar Pereira da Silva (1867 - 1939) as history painter in the Paulista Museum, between the years 1920 and 1922 , during Afonso d\' Escragnolle Taunay ( 1876-1958 ) management. was adapted by a political elite and learned inhabitant from São Paulo, a project
idealize begun with the objective of executing São Paulo as the largest responsible
for the formation of the Brazilian nation, creating for that the idealize pioneer in the
end of the century XIX and beginning of the XX. The Monções interfere in that
project, because they appear as one of the ideological supports for it
implementation, mainly, for being a fluvial road that it was derived of a road used
by the pioneers in the century XVIII, until becoming a commercial route that linked
Porto Feliz to the gold mines of Cuiabá in a long and difficult trip. The largest
implementation of that whole construction iconographic was it then director of the
Museum From São Paulo Afonso de Taunay, that was used of a great visual
apparatus as pedagogic instrument before the population, his writing and his
contusing rhetoric served as support in that process, it was during his
administration that several pictures were ordered and formed a room dedicated to
the Monções. The image, of this sorts things out, it comes as source of inclusion
multidiscipline that dialogues, above all, with a produced textual narrative. This
way, it intends to interpret and to analyze the use of the images of the Monções,
for an elite from São Paulo, with the support of the public patronage for the
construction of a speech nationalism and ideologic.
The research emphasizes the importance of a historical moment and it relationship
with the history from São Paulo and the national, identifying the point of
prominence of that expansionist movement and its connection with an elitist
process, that it aimed at to put São Paulo instead of prominence before the
A imagem,
destaque perante o restante do país

A terceira margem do rio: mercado e sujeitos na pintura de história de Antônio Parreiras / The third bank of the river: market and subjects in history painting of Antônio ParreirasLúcia Klück Stumpf 12 March 2014 (has links)
The subject of this dissertation is the historical painting of Antônio Parreiras (1860-1937) produced during Brazilian\'s First Republic (1889-1930). It seeks to understand the painter\'s role in the embryonic art market between the XIX and XX centuries, emphasizing the establishment of relationships between him and the governments. It aims to show how Parreiras was able to stimulate the demand for decorative paintings for the public spaces that were being built or remodeled to meet the needs of the new regime. Furthermore, it discusses how, in his paintings, the ditames of the ordering party were combined with the will of the artist whom, besides fulfilling the contracts, imprinted on the paintings his vision of the national history. Parreiras\' historical canvases are important elements in the genesis process of our country\'s regional identities, throughout the making of republican ideal. This analysis intends to shed light on the part played by Antônio Parreiras in an artistic and intellectual environment marked by instability and hard fought contested symbolic disputes.

Formování identity sociálních pracovníků v letech 1918-1938 / The formation of identity of social workers in 1918-1938PETRÁKOVÁ, Ladislava January 2018 (has links)
In the period of the first Czechoslovak Republic social work was the important part of social politic and it worked as a repressive assistance, nowadays we consider social work as an activated and motivational help for clients. The then social work, which is the synonym for the social care, was provided in collaboration with public and private entities. The health, social and educational elements of provincial and district care were sucessfully united mainly in the Czech. These steps went to the comprehensive conception of social work. The Czechoslovak Republic relied on the work of volunteers and the state also supported them with finances and delegated many tasks on them. The multilateralism and jaggedness of extensive voluntary social work brought many advantanges for the state and many poor people were helped. The lack of authority and the ambivalence of voluntary social workers were the darker side of voluntary entities. The absence of the legal regulations was the main cause of these problems. Social workers in the first Czechoslovakia Republic made very important steps to establish social work as the fully-fledged work profession. These steps made by social workers included creation of a valuable and ethical frame work of social work. They have also created an international collaboration which has become standard of these days.
