The content of the master’s thesis is a design and evaluation of the timber construction of roofed footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists across the river Bělá in Jeseník in two different options of structure. The final version is solve in detail. It is a bridge with a span of 32 m and width of 4 m. The supporting structure is made of two two-hinged arch of glued laminated timber with lower deck and steel suspender. The bridge deck consists of two main girders, cross beams and stringers. Roof is from arches, roof beams, steel columns and cross beams. The stability of the whole construction is provided with horizontal longitudinal bracing in the plane of the deck and in the plane of the roof. The calculations are processed according to Czech technical norms ČSN EN.

The thesis focuses on design of prestressed concrete footbridge which passes pedestrian and bicycle path over the Elbe river near city of Celakovice in the Czech Republic. Three different bridge options were analyzed and for further development a cable-stayed footbridge was chosen. Its bridge deck is formed of a box girder supported by cables in its vertical axis and all cable stays are anchored into two concrete A-shaped pylons. This structure was analyzed in SCIA Engineer and assessment of serviceability limit states and ultimate limit states according to recent European standards (Eurocodes) was made. Both the global structural behavior and the local structural integrity of box cross-section were assessed as well as construction stages and cross-sections of pylons and cable stays. Assessments were performed in IDEA StatiCa combined with hand calculations. Eventually a dynamic response of structure was analyzed. Natural modes and frequencies were found and forced oscillation response was evaluated. The thesis includes technical drawings, construction process and visualization.

The aim of final thesis is design and assessment of footbridge over highway D1 in Bohumín. The design is processed in two options. From these two options there is cable-stayed construction solved in greater detail. Because counstruction is in circular arch with small radius, it is necessary to contain real geometry to computational model. Model is created by beams and construction stages are included too. The construction is assessed for the ultimate and serviceability limit state according to valid standards. In the thesis is performed eigenvalue analysis and harmonic response of the construction. Detailed drawings are included too.

[ES] El objetivo de la tesis es proponer una metodología que permita la definición de pasarelas de un único vano a partir de unas condiciones de contorno determinadas, utilizando unos diseños estéticamente atractivos. Se desarrolla el diseño y la formulación geométrica de tres pasarelas paramétricas, denominadas Von Mises, Monocontentio y Bicontentio, cuyo diseño se basa en cinco fundamentos básicos: integración en la geometría del terreno, búsqueda continua de la sencillez, siluetas que emanan del comportamiento estructural, formas unitarias y detalles perdurables. La silueta de la pasarela Von Mises se basa en la gráfica del criterio de comparación de Von Mises de una viga biapoyada, la del prototipo Monocontentio en la ley de momentos de una viga empotrada-apoyada y la de la pasarela Bicontentio en la gráfica de flectores de una viga biempotrada. El trabajo incluye una metodología de formulación, que permite obtener las expresiones matemáticas que gobiernan las principales dimensiones y espesores de las pasarelas, en función de su anchura y su luz. Un análisis comparativo de diferentes tipologías de pasarelas viga permite constatar la eficiencia de los prototipos Von Mises, Monocontentio y Bicontentio. Esta se debe a su canto variable adaptado a los esfuerzos de solicitación y al empotramiento en estribos. Asimismo, se realiza un análisis que liga el enfoque de diseño y el pensamiento ingenieril con la expresión estética de los puentes. La tesis supone la puesta en orden de una particular filosofía de diseño utilizada por el autor en una treintena de puentes proyectados durante los últimos 25 años, para poder ser aplicada de manera sistemática por otros profesionales. / [CA] L'objectiu de la tesi és proposar una metodologia que permeta la definició de passarel·les d'un únic tram a partir d'unes condicions de contorn determinades, utilitzant uns dissenys estèticament atractius. Es desenvolupa el disseny i la formulació geomètrica de tres passarel·les paramètriques, denominades Von Mises, Monocontentio i Bicontentio, el disseny de les quals es basa en cinc fonaments bàsics: integració en la geometria del terreny, cerca contínua de la senzillesa, siluetes que emanen del comportament estructural, formes unitàries i detalls perdurables. La silueta de la passarel·la Von Mises es basa en la gràfica del criteri de comparació de Von Mises d'una biga bi- recolzada, la del prototip Monocontentio en la llei de moments d'una biga encastada-recolzada i la de la passarel·la Bicontentio en la gràfica de flectors d'una biga bi-encastada. Així mateix es realitza una anàlisi que lliga l'enfocament de disseny i el pensament de l'enginyer amb l'expressió estètica dels ponts. / [EN] The purpose of this thesis is to propose a methodology for single-span, pedestrian bridges, based on specific conditions, using an attractive design.This thesis explains the design and geometric formulation of three types of pedestrian bridges, namely Von Mises, Monocontentio and Bicontentio. Their designs are based on five basic principles: (1) integration into the geometry of the environment; (2) permanent search for simplicity; (3) design based on a geometry that emanates from structural behavior; (4) uniform shapes; and (5) enduring details. The silhouette of the Von Mises bridge is inspired by the Von Mises criterion graph, corresponding to a simply- supported beam.The Monocontentio prototype is inspired by the bending moment diagram of a beam fixed at one end and simply supported at the other end. The Bicontentio bridge is inspired by the bending moment diagram of a beam fixed at both ends. This thesis includes a formulation methodology that defines mathematical expressions that govern the main dimensions and thickness of a pedestrian bridge, depending on its respective width and span. A comparative analysis demonstrates the efficiency of these three particular prototypes, due to their variable depth, adapted to the internal forces, and due to fix the structure in abutments. Likewise, this paper analyses and links the design and engineering with the aesthetic expression of the bridges.The author has used this design philosophy in thirty bridge projects over the last 25 years, and such philosophy may be applied in a systematic way by other professionals. / Guisasola Ron, M. The objective of this master´s thesis is a design of suspension footbridge across the Elbe river. The footbridge is suspended construction by three spans. The brick deck is supported on the outer edges and it is kept in a parabolic arc. The suspension cables are kept at two inclined levels. The model is implemented in the program ANSYS. The solution is non-linear. The designe is according to the europien standart.

This master's thesis deals with the designing of the appropriate supporting steel structure footbridge for pedestrians. The footbridge is used to connect two separate buildings (buildings D and Z at the Faculty of Civil Engineering Brno University of Technology). Four variants have been designed about solutions supporting steel structure. The final variant was prepared in detail and was carried out static assessment of the individual elements and selected details. The main supporting structure of this variant are two trusses. Diagonals of these trusses are designed linkage system of Macalloy 460. Bridge deck is designed of composite steel a concrete board with crossbars. The footbridge is designed as simple beam with an overhanging end. Length span is 34.8 m, length overhanging ends is 5.8 meters. The total length of the footbridge is 40.6 meters. Width of footbridge is 2.8 meters. Free width is 2 meters. In the cross point with the axis of local road is height of footbridge above ground 4.43 meters. Next to the building Z, there is a footbridge stored on a concrete support, near the building D, the footbridge is stored on a steel frame of support. The footbridge is deposited on elastomeric bearings. The footbridge is being protected from the weather. The sheating of the building is designed by Wictec 60 system. The master's thesis also contains drawing documentation of the proposed solution.

Statická a dynamická analýza předpjaté mostní konstrukce / Static and dynamic analysis of Prestressed bridge structure

The main objective of the thesis is to perform static and dynamic analysis of prestressed concrete bridge structures in computational system ANSYS. For the analysis was chosen footbridge over the river Svratka in Brno. In relation to this topic are solved various types of modeling prestress at a finite element level. Before analyzing the footbridge is analyzed in detail the static system and the corresponding final geometry of the structure. Knowledge of the functioning of the static system is used to build the computational model of the structure, on which is subsequently performed static and dynamic analysis.
