The first part of my work focuses on the theoretical description of EU regional policy, its evolution and the description and the objectives of the different programming periods. In this part of the work is also described which EU funds are being used for co-financing of different goals. Furthermore I define all operational programs which can be used to draw funds to provide grants. These information are necessarry to choose the right operational program to use. For the particular project co-financed from the European Union, I present an economic analysis of the project and a questionnaire survey which I use to do a qualitative assessment of the project and its help for the development of the region.

The diploma theses evaluates situation of universities in the Czech Republic and one foreign University 2003 – 2007. The Graduation theses compares their efficiency through the selected indicators. Diploma work evaluates proportion of public sources from state budget financing and non public sources and compares this status with foreign university. Diploma includes analysis, suggestions and recommendation for improvement of existing status with regard to future development, when university should become more self-sufficiency and be able to ensure service availability, validity and return of sources.

This dissertation work is aimed on grants from the European Union. It denotes about the possible use of grants from the European Structural Funds to support the increase of professional training in the Moravian-Silesian region. Use of these resources should further lead to a unemployment reduction and a literacy increase by citizens who fall in categories to 25 years of age without experience or with an age limit of 50 years.

The theses describes the project funded from EU Fund targeted on education (e-learning) of real non-profit organisation - The Chamber of Tax Advisors of the Czech Republic - documentation, disposition, planning and financing.

My thesis is engaged in business development of company Iveco Czech Republic, s.r.o. I would like to review current situation and then work up plan how to improve this situation.

The goal of this project is to obtain finance granted by EU funds. Thesis is based on identification of possible ways of financing, analyzing of present situation and development possibilities in HR environment and preparation of project application.

Předmětem projektu je založení školicího střediska, které je určeno především pro vlastní zaměstnance firmy působící v oboru výroby a prodeje optických korečních pomůcek a přístrojů. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je navrhnout projekt, který řeší současné potřeby firmy a zároveň splňuje všechny požadavky relevantního operačního programu. Obsah práce je zaměřen na úspěšné podání plné projektové žádosti tak, aby projekt získal podporu z Evropských fondů.

This thesis deals with the financing of nonprofit organizations. It focuses on the possible ways and methods of fundraising. The practical part contains an analysis of revenues Scout organization - association of scouts and guides of the Czech Republic, the centre „Jedovnice“, possible funding sources and proposals for ways of obtaining financial resources.
