Obchodní galerie / Shopping GalleryŽák, Ondřej January 2014 (has links)
Master's thesis addresses the design and assessment of the load bearing structure of the shopping gallery. The building is designed as a three-storey rectangular plan with a flat roof. The structure is composed of steel frames and composite steel and concrete slabs. There are proposed two possible solutions - variant with a flat roof and direct central gallery, a reinforced rigid steel frames and a variant with a cupola roofed circular inner atrium, solidified with rods.

Centrum Ponava Brno, Královo Pole / Ponava Centre Brno, Královo PoleSkalická, Jana January 2014 (has links)
Main goal of the diploma thesis was to create an architectural study of the Ponava Centre, Brno, Královo Pole. This compound includes the set of buildings, which together set up valuable public space filled with different functions (cultural centre, gallery, restaurant, café, music club, housing, leasable units, family centre and roofed public space). The thesis was preceded by elaboration on the urban concept which defined the problems of this compound and determined the placement of proposed objects. The area is located in city of Brno, in Královo Pole district, cadastral of Ponava local authority, between the streets Střední and Staňkova.

Photon-plasmon coupling in optoplasmonic microtube cavitiesYin, Yin 27 March 2018 (has links)
Optoplasmonic microtube cavities, the combination of dielectric microcavities and noble metal layers, allow for the interactions between photonic modes and surface plasmons, leading to several novel phenomena and promising applications. In this thesis, the hybrid modes with different plasmon-types of evanescent field in the optoplasmonic microtube cavities are discussed. The basic physical mechanism for the generation of plasmon-type field is comprehensively investigated based on an effective potential approach. In particular, when the cavity wall becomes ultra-thin, the plasmon-type field can be greatly enhanced, and the hybrid modes are identified as strong photon-plasmon hybrid modes which are experimentally demonstrated in the metal-coated rolled-up microtube cavities. By designing a metal nanocap onto microtube cavities, angle-dependent tuning of hybrid photon-plasmon modes are realized, in which TE and TM polarized modes exhibit inverse tuning trends due to the polarization match/mismatch. And a novel sensing scheme is proposed relying on the intensity ratio change of TE and TM modes instead of conventionally used mode shift. In addition, localized surface plasmon resonances coupled to resonant light is explored by designing a vertical metal nanogap on microtube cavities. Selective coupling of high-order axial modes is demonstrated depending on spatial-location of the metal nanogap. A modified quasi-potential well model based on perturbation theory is developed to explain the selective coupling mechanism. These researches systematically explore the design of optoplasmonic microtube cavities and the mechanism of photon-plasmon coupling therein, which provide a novel platform for the study of both fundamental and applied physics such as the enhanced light-matter interactions and label-free sensing.

Webové sociální sítě a galerie jako podpora při budování kariéry jednotlivce v oblasti umělecké fotografie / Web social networks and galleries as the support of building career of individual in the field of the art photographySynek, Pavel January 2011 (has links)
The master thesis is focused on recent inosculation of photography and modern information technologies and also on a daptation of photography to current trends in communication. Special emphasis is set on fine-art photography. Besides delimitation of problem the first part of the text is dedicated to foundation and history of photography where the author refers to dramatic changes that had taken place in the early beginnings. The second part is dealing with contemporary phenomenon - social networks and their moving into the virtual space of the Internet during last decade. The author aims on key aspects of social networks which have a significant influence when in combination with photography. The next part shortly deals with problems of copyright that show up in relation to digital photography. Part of text is devoted analysis of several selected systems specialized in fine-art photography publishing and eventually their selling. The author describes their significant attributes, principles on which they are based and mentions differences among each other. The fundamental part of the document is focused on practical view of interconnection between fine-art photography and digital information technologies whereas the ideas relates to pieces of knowledge gained from several selected and interviewed...

Pražský obraz Sv. Lukáš maluje Madonu od Jana Gossaerta zv. Mabuse / The Prague painting Saint Luke painting the Virgin by Jan Gossaert called MabuseHamrlová, Anna January 2014 (has links)
The National Gallery in Prague conserves an important masterpiece of the Fle- mish mannerist Jan Gossaert. The panel painting Saint Luke painting the Virgin was originally determined for the cathedral of Saint Roumboult in Mechelen in Belgium. The artwork represents one of the first applications of Renaissance style behind the Alps. Gossaert was educated in this new style during a visit to Italy several years earlier and combined it with traditional Flemish art. The artist worked for the court of Margaret of Austria in Mechelen around the year 1513, the year the painting originates. His traditional style became influenced by the techniques used in Mechelen by foreign artists. The theme is painted the tradi- tional manner of work on an oak panel. Renaissance and Gothic architecture is decorated by " en grisaille" sculptures. A seemingly simple theme is given deeper meaning thanks to these objects containing hidden meanings. There are also some prints from the time the panel was in the Saint Vitus Cathedral in Prague due to which we can contemplate the progress in presentation of the painting during centuries. 1

Sbírka vlámského a holandského malířství Vlastislava Zátky / Art collection of Flemish and Dutch paintings collected by Vlastislav ZátkaDobešová, Michaela Filipa January 2014 (has links)
Art collection of Flemish and Dutch paintings collected by Vlastislav Zátka Dr. Vlastislav Zátka, a lawyer and businessman, was important in bringing together and organising a diverse art collection. This thesis discusses his approach to art, his perception of the artwork as well as the overlap with the Flemish and Dutch paintings in the collections of the Aleš South Bohemian Gallery in Hluboka , the National Gallery in Prague and private collectors of this circuit , but it also deals with the efforts of Vladislav Zátka to verify purchased art and to, then, include the expert's opinions. The focal point is the carefully charted correspondence of Vlastislav Zátka in the archives of the Aleš South Bohemian Gallery in Hluboka and its analysis. Keywords: Dutch and Flemish paintings Collecting Vlastislav Zatka Landscape painting Still life painting Maritime painting Maecenas / Benefactor Correspondence Art expert authentification Gallery / Art museum
