A maioria parou
benef?cios previdenci?rios e o atendimento priorit?rio. A acessibilidade em locais externos foi
apontada como dificuldade para a maioria. CONCLUS?O: ? importante n?o apenas
Assim, a
Disserta??o (Mestrado Profissional) ? Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Sa?de, Sociedade e Ambiente, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2016. / INTRODUCTION: Nowadays there are advances about the right of people with disabilities.
Exists in Brazil wide legislation that evoke the rights from the people with disabilities,
however, there are few studies about the awareness of this population about their rights and
usufruct. To understand this issue of the person's point of view will be possible to formulate
proposals for interventions to the effective access of disabled people to the enjoyment of their
fundamental rights. AIMS: To verify if the motor disabled persons are aware and also if they
enjoytheir rights. METHODS: This was a descriptive cross-sectional study involving 39
patients with motor disabilities composing a convenience sample. Participants answered a
questionnaire, prepared by the researchers of this study, about awareness and usufruct about
their rights. RESULTS: It was found that the group was formed by adults, deambulants,
socioeconomically disadvantaged and female majority. Most stopped working after the
event/illness, receives some benefit from the government and practically they do not leave
home, except for medical treatment. The group demonstrated knows little about their specific
rights, only those most publicized, such as government benefits and priority seating. The
accessibility of external sites was identified as difficulty of the majority. CONCLUSION: It is
important not just approval laws, but knowledge on the part of society and disabled people
themselves about their rights, so they can usufruct theirs rights. Thereby the disabled persons
will be effectively inserted in society, exercising their citizen role, subject to the fulfillment of
rights and duties in the social sphere.

Dlouhodobá strategie rozvoje sociálních služeb pro zdravotně postižené ve správním obvodu Písku jako obce s rozšířenou působností do roku 2030 / Long-term development strategy for social services for the disabled to 2030 in Písek as a municipality with extended competenceGRÓFOVÁ, Zuzana January 2015 (has links)
I am about to devote this dissertation to the issues of social services planning in Písek as a provincial city with focus on handicapped people. My aim is to find out whether and under what conditions it would be possible to extend a timeframe of elaborated strategies at least to 15 years. Theoretical part is divided into four chapters. Firstly, I follow conception of social politics and social welfare during the time with future outlook. Then, the area of social services is being analysed - describing their evolution, legislative frame, interpretation of quality and ways of funding. Third chapter is dedicated to community planning, its foundations and principles. In last chapter I tend to target group - handicapped people. The aim of practical part is to find out not only under what conditions the timeframe of planning can be widen but also how exactly is social services planning being done and whether this process evolves towards better quality. All this by means of semistructured interviews with seven participants of social services planning in Písek. Respondents have been selected from the side of demand municipality of Písek and supply representants of non-governmental nonprofit organizations, church and region-donated organizations. Their posts varied from higher management to work force, both in current and previous years. Survey refers to demographic analysis of target group, respondents view of current planning timeframe´s sufficiency and whether quality level of that process is rising. Evaluated interviews showed that demographic analysis were professionally set up and last community planning in given area was significantly more successful compared with previous terms. This was achieved through cooperation with non-profit organization, its methodist and outside supervisor. Extension of current social planning timeframe can be possible, according to respondents, only if a long-term state-wide strategy gets formed, being regularly updated with action plans added for up to five years long period. Main obstacles for this are frequent changes in legislative and the issue of turbulent circumstances considering target group like people in crisis. However, for handicapped people and senior citizens extending the timeframe might be more possible considering stable situation and therefore usability of long-term statistical predictions.

Previous issue date: 2012-08-27 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / This Project is about the policy of inclusion on the Elementary school of the municipal net in Campina Grande Paraíba. It was observed that although there is guidance in order to enroll all the children with some kind of disability in the regular school, giving the necessary conditions to them to take part of the educational activities, there are sometimes contradiction on the law that reverberates in the practice, making it difficult the pedagogical process as a whole. Based on these considerations, we have the aim to analyse the policy of inclusion of handicapped children on the municipal daycare centers and elementary schools in Campina Grande. Our productions are based on authors that write about elementary school, childhood,
inclusion, identity, differences and policy and practice of inclusion, such as: Bujes (2005), Sarmento et al. (2006), Hall (2009), Silva (2009), Woodward (2009), Veiga-Neto (2001, 2005), Abramowicz (2001), Dorziat (2006, 2007, 2009a, 2009b, 2010, 2011), Laplane (2007), Lopes (2007), Glat (2007), Garcia (2008), Ferreira e Ferreira (2007), among others. The field of the research was three daycare centers and elementary schools, where nine teachers of the Atendimento Educacional
Especializado (AEE) , specialized Educational Service and Regular Classrooms (RC). Through semi structured interviews and observations, we got informations that indicate that the policy of inclusion that is developed by Preschool to materialize only in the Atendimento Educacional Especializado Specialized Educational Service AEE, with the participation of the appointed teachers to the service. It was clear the
disconnection between the teachers of the AEE and the ones of Regular classrooms, without a collective work and as a result, the teachers of Regular classrooms did not know about AEE, as well they do not take part in the angoing training. This lack of
connection/ knowledge/participation of the teachers is reflected in pedagogical practices that end up excluding handicapped children from essential experiences to their development.
O campo

FUNAD activities, located in João Pessoa, PB. It comes from aspects about
handicapped person exclusion/inclusion context, searching for citizenship. The aim of this
study was to give voice to these persons in order to, through their words; they could turn
explicit the feelings, meanings and representations that rise out of the quotidian.
Understanding one can attitudes and unveil the existing contradictions in inclusion and
citizenship proposal. Form study analyses we chose Moscovici Social Representation Theory
as theoretical- methodological as a support of a qualitative research. Seven persons were
interviewed, who attended the institution previously referred, between the months of
September and October of the current year. For data analysis it was selected the content
analysis proposed by Bardin, from the theoretical categories exclusion, inclusion and
citizenship, where they search to identify the social representations that these persons have
about the exclusion/inclusion process and citizenship. The interviews analysis with the
subjects involved in the research showed that those feel welcome in the institutional context
that attend to, but the majority of the research subjects doesn t understand the inclusion,
citizenship and rights proposal meaning, while citizens in the social context that are inserted.
The study indicates that handicapped persons still bring with them the common sense about
various feelings, among them we detach: the stigmatization and accommodation feelings that,
in turn, remit, to my understanding, to a subordination alienation and ignorance attitude, about
their rights as citizens in this inclusion perspective that the capital society, promoter of social
exclusion, gives to them.

An investigation of the potential role of physically challenged persons in constructionTshobotlwane, David Modisaotsile January 2005 (has links)
Thesis (MTech (Construction Management))--Cape Penninsula University of Technology, 2005 / The construction industry contributes to the economy in terms of its labour
intensive nature and status as a major employer of labour in many countries. This pivotal
role is divided by its unappealing status ofbeing an industrial sector with the lowest level
of employment of disabled persons. Despite the South African government's efforts to
diversifY the industry's labour force, these have had little concrete effect on changing the
demographics of construction especially relative to the representation of minority groups
such as women and disabled persons.
The industry presents both a challenging and hostile environment and attitudinal
barrier for persons with disabilities. They have not been seen as part of the pool of people
considered for employment, and when already employed, possible promotion. To change
this negative image, conscious measures are necessary to remove barriers. These
measures should include a change in leadership style and approach, fundamental change
in culture, change in the negative image of the working environment, and full
implementation of equal opportunity policies. This paper reports on the employment
status of disabled persons within the construction industry. To achieve this, the
qualitative methodology was adopted and included surveys, self-administered
questionnaires and interviews as well as the quantitative methodology to validate the
completeness of data
