Emoční inteligence a možnosti jejího poznávání a uplatnění / Emotional intelligence and possibilities of its recognition and applicationMaršálek, Jan January 2016 (has links)
The aim of the theorethical part of the thesis is to describe basic charac- teristics of concept of the emotional intelligence. The thesis summarizes two main theoretical approaches to EI: Mayer, Salovey et al. (1997) and Goleman (2000, 2011). Several currently used EI measurement methods are introduced, along with some of the principal reservations against the EI measurement as such. Practical applications of emotional intelligence along with theoretical possibilities of further development of EI are also briefly discussed. The empirical part summarizes the findings of combined quantitative- qualitative research realized in a sample of scout leaders. Using MSCEIT (Mayer et al., 2012), the research revealed that the scout leaders reached significantly lower EQ score in general EI, in Strategical EI branch and in subscales Using emotions and Understanding emotions. Reversely, they achieved significantly higher EQ score in subscale Managing emotions. The outputs of the qualitative enquiry are in direct contradiction to the quantitative outputs; the respondents agreed consentaneously that the scout education improved their emotional matureness, they also provided many particular examples and links between scouting and the develop- ment of the emotional intelligence. Possible explanations for this contrast...

Přirozený a umělý život / Natural and Artificial LifeNoska, Martin January 2009 (has links)
This thesis is about similarities and differences between natural and artificial life. It examines how a combination of insight from the disciplines of computer science and philosophy can be used to address this issue. By applying the principles of evolution to artificial life, the paper shows the perspectives of this life form and its implications for mankind. Human history contains many attempts at constructing artificial creatures; however, this dream only became reality with the advent of digital computers. Although artificial life is built on different principles than natural life, is better to view both as complementary rather than as opposites. It is possible to speculate on symbiosis between artificial and natural elements and on the formation of hybrid life forms that combine features from both worlds. Artificial life is not dependent on biological cycles and its evolution can proceed much faster. It has the potential to overcome the necessity of death, which is characteristic of all biological entities. If we compare the intelligence of machines to that of natural organisms, it is possible to identify the differences between them. Machine intelligence has the potential to create artificial collective intelligence through computer networks that exceed the level of separate entities. Simple forms of artificial life, identifiable at present, will evolve in coming decades and raise a number of unsolved questions (i.e. ethical concerns). These issues are and will remain current.

Inteligentní dokument / Intelligent documentŠprta, Vlastimil January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis, interested in intelligent documents, covers, in its introductory chapters, the basic problematics of inteligent documents. The major part of major part of these theorethical chapters is devoted to the analysis of possible practical applications of certain parts of knowledge management. The second part of the thesis, focused more on a practical usage of intelligent documents, includes the proposition of the actual structure and the realization of the specific intelligent document. This part also includes the evaluation and the examples of the differences between an ordinary electronic document and an intelligent document. The conclusion of the practical part of the thesis is the summary of all the findings concerning the practical implementation of an intelligent document and the evaluation of possible applications, extension possibilities and changes of such intelligent document.

Aplikace optimalizační metody PSO v podnikatelství / The Application of PSO in BusinessVeselý, Filip January 2010 (has links)
This work deals with two optimization problems, traveling salesman problem and cluster analysis. Solution of these optimization problems are applied on INVEA-TECH company needs. It shortly describes questions of optimization and some optimization techniques. Closely deals with swarm intelligence, strictly speaking particle swarm intelligence. Part of this work is recherché of variants of particle swarm optimization algorithm. The second part describes PSO algorithms solving clustering problem and traveling salesman problem and their implementation in Matlab language.

Empirické vyhodnocení efektů zavedení chatbotů v CSKneblová, Julie January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the influence of implementation of a chatbot technology for sales promotion and customer services. The aim of the paper is to evaluate effects, that influence the consumer shopping behaviour after the implementation of chatbot and to identify factors that have an impact on the communication with this technology. Then the goal of this thesis is to create recommendations for companies considering the implementation of chatbot technology, which would also reflect the specifics of a Czech consumer. Data for primary research are obtained through questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews. Quantitative research is used to process factor analysis that identifies factors influencing communication with chatbots.

Vybrané právní aspekty umělé inteligence / Selected legal aspects of Artificial IntelligenceZachová, Magdalena January 2020 (has links)
Selected legal aspects of Artificial Intelligence In recent years, Artificial Intelligence has become a widely discussed topic. The main goal of this thesis is therefore to draw attention to some risks that arise from the use of Artificial Intelligence. This thesis deals mainly with three legal aspects of Artificial Intelligence. These aspects are privacy, personal data protection and discrimination. Chapter one is conceived as a general introduction which aims to present the term Artificial Intelligence along with various approaches to it. The relation between Artificial Intelligence and copyright law is mentioned in this chapter and a special attention is paid also to machine learning and neural networks. The second chapter summarizes the relevant legal sources in which the right to protection of personality, privacy and personal data is enshrined. The following chapter focuses on privacy protection. The risks associated with the use of drones are mentioned here. One subchapter describes in more detail the situation in the People's Republic of China, which uses Artificial Intelligence to track its citizens. Given the fact that Artificial Intelligence processes large amounts of data including personal data, it is necessary to ensure that the data is properly protected and not misused. Chapter four...
