Musikalisk barnteater : Musikens funktion i barnteaterberättandet på Regionteatern Blekinge-Kronoberg

Nordstrand, Carolin January 2006 (has links)
Muscial theatre for children – the function of the music in theatrical storytelling for children in Regionteatern Blekinge-Kronoberg. Sweden, Växjö, 2006. The aim of this essay is to examine music in theatre for children. There is not much recent research about the subject so this essay is a way to discern this part of the theatre and to get more people interested in the matter. The survey will focus on how music is used in an institutional theatre (Regionteatern Blekinge-Kronoberg) that works with plays for children. The research consists of interviews with a composer, a director and analyzes of three plays for children played in Regionteatern Blekinge-Kronoberg. The music in the plays will be compared to recent theories about music in storytelling. The music in the plays is used in different ways but often to explain things that are not told with words, for example feelings and description of characters. The way music is used is closely linked to how the director and composer think about music. An example is their central idea of music as a power that reaches directly to the audience. It is also important to keep in mind that it is adults that create theatre for children which means that the music and stories are always filtered by adult’s eyes and ears.

Ska vi se på film idag? : En undersökning av hur AV - media Kronobergs filmer framställer hinduismen / Should we watch a movie today? : A study of how AV-Medida Kronobergs films present Hinduism

Gustavsson, Per January 2011 (has links)
Teorin bygger i huvudsak på tre böcker, Umberto Ecos Den frånvarande Strukturen, Bill NicholsRepresenting Reality, Mattew Bernstein och Gaylyn Studlars Visions of the East, Orientalism inFilm.

Gunnarsson, Ted January 2004 (has links)

Empirical study of process of obtaining finance for non-Swedish entrepreneurs : In context of Kronoberg Region

Khalsa, Ameet Singh, Isayev, Emil, Mehdi, Sidra January 2019 (has links)
Abstract: Previous literature suggests that there are significant differences among Swedish and NonSwedish groups, as the non-Swedish counterpart of the system face more challenges and hurdles while obtaining finance for their businesses. The aim of the research paper is to map the processes of the obtaining finance from both private and government institutions and gather intelligence on the criteria to ascertain if there are any explicit difference in the processes a non-Swedish entrepreneur has to go through before it gets funded. Qualitative research approach is used in this thesis where we performed in-depth interviews in the form of open discussion with five organizations which includes government institutions and network of private of Investor. We identified two different mindsets and processes i.e. Government and Private Investors where they focus on different aspects of process even though the pre-requisite documents are similar and overlapping. The empirical data collected using qualitative methods were converted into narratives and build into process map to see whether there are any explicit differences in the processes defined for obtaining finance for non-Swedish entrepreneur. Our conclusion is that there is no difference in the processes but there are many elements which can lead to non-Swedish entrepreneur to fall out of the system. So, it‟s matter of small improvements of the system which will make it more efficient, transparent and inclusive for all the participants within the system. The research shows that there are some nuances which can add up and lead to the NonSwedish entrepreneur to be excluded from the system but there are no explicit differences in the process. In the suggested improvement, these gaps and loopholes can be covered to make the system more efficient, transparent and inclusive which can lead to equal opportunities for everyone and also increasing the economic activity within the Kronoberg region.

Skoldemokratins fördolda jämställdhetsproblem : Eleverfarenheter i en könssegregerad gymnasieskola / The hidden gender equality problem of school democracy : Student experiences in a gender segregated upper secondary school

Jormfeldt, Johanna January 2011 (has links)
The general question in this dissertation is whether the democracy of schools is carried out in a gender equal manner in Sweden’s gender segregated upper secondary school. Students’ experiences of school democracy are measured using the dimensions of influence, discussion and legal rights. Three different explanatory factors are considered: the significance of gender, gender context and the character of the school programmes for these experiences. The study is based on student responses to a poll conducted in the top form classes of Kronoberg County’s upper secondary schools during the school year 2008/2009. The results of a series of regression analyses show that neither gender, gender context or programme character alone had an affect on experiences of school democracy. However, the more males present in a teaching environment, the poorer the experiences of influence and discussion are when all of the three explanatory factors are controlled for. In addition, the school programmes having male-coded character content particularly stand out favourably regarding school democracy. The number of males is usually high in such programmes and therefore the negative effects of male representation cancel out the positive effects of programme affiliation unless an explicit division is made of both of these aspects. Thus, keeping gender context and programme character separate is very important with studies of school democracy, since significant effects otherwise remain hidden. The study demonstrates that school democracy is important for students. Those students who have good experiences of school democracy perceive the school environment as significantly better than those who have poor experiences of school democracy. Concerning secondary effects, it appears that experiences of school democracy have different implications for learning among female and male students. There is a negative relationship between male experiences of influence and their grades in Swedish and Maths, while female experiences of discussion seem to show a positive covariance with grades. There is no relationship found in the data between students’ daily experiences of school democracy and their thoughts on voting in the upcoming parliamentary election.

Carolsson, Maja, Reinholdsson, Katarina January 2024 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to investigate and get an overview of infant and child mortality in four smaller parishes in Småland County, Moheda, Slätthög, Vislanda and Skatelöv.The study will compare three different periods, 1889-1894, 1910-1915, and 1944-1940. The evidence has been collected from death and burial registers and birth and baptism registers from the parishes. The study's main question is "What proportion of Moheda's, Slätthög's, Vislanda's, and Skatelöv's children up to and including the age of six died during the periods 1889-1894, 1910-1915, and 1944-1949?". The result the study has achieved in relation to the main question is that during the first period 322 children died and during the last period 26 children died, thus the child mortality rate decreased.
