Implantation of systems of production scheduling: survey of the practical of the production scheduling in the industry.

Edivaldo Giacon 08 July 2010 (has links)
Due to the great pressure to reduce inventory and delivery, together with the increasing variety of products, production planning and control (PPC) has become increasingly complex and challenging. Basically, this activity aims business planning and control productive resources, to meet customer demand. Traditionally, the literature has addressed the systems MRP, KANBAN, OPT, but a new set of solutions of finite scheduling systems is increasingly being investigated. Companies in search of improvement to the activity of PPC are looking for finite scheduling tools, also known as Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) in order to improve the process of order management, including issues such as the determination of time delivery in the stage of negotiation of claims, effective scheduling of orders and production control. This study aims to ascertain the needs and difficulties in the detailed production scheduling, the stage of implementation, and benefits that APS software can provide. The research method was the survey in industries affiliated to the Federation of Industries of Sao Paulo (Fiesp). The results indicated that scheduling production is a complex activity for most companies under the make-to-order strategy (MTO). Companies are using MRPII planning model, but they have goals that can be more easily achieved with the use of advanced planning and scheduling systems (APS). This financial point is still limiting for acquisition of systems and lack of training.

Funktion und Zusammensetzung der nukleären RNase P und RNase MRP in Pflanzen: Funktion und Zusammensetzung der nukleärenRNase P und RNase MRP in Pflanzen

Krehan, Mario 07 September 2012 (has links)

Selinder, Ulrika January 2016 (has links)

This research aims to structure and monitor the implementation of the Kanban production model, integrating the existing MRP system in a food industry to meet the peculiarities of lack and scarcity of semi-finished products existing in the reality of the company. Using the references found in the literature and adding the acquired knowledge by practical study from the research-action, this research shows the development and deployment of a hybrid model. With this deployment, after the cycles of action research, it was possible to see a reduction in the stock of semifinished products at 25% and the value of capital employed at 24%, plus a reduction of finished product shortage cuts at 73%, even with an increase of 15% in this volume. From these results the hybrid model has become satisfactory to the company, since the MRP system and the Kanban production model was integrated complementary, even with the difficulty of the factory floor staff to follow the flow of the hybrid model of PCP.

Estilo de aprendizagem Ativo-Reflexivo e jogo de empresas: (des) entrosamento para o aprendizado de planejamento e controle da produção / Active-Reflective learning style and business game: (un)meshing to the learning of production planning and control

Dias, George Paulus Pereira 19 September 2014 (has links)
While some people prefer to process information upon the outer world (extroverted), others prefer to process it reflectively (introverted). This difference leads to distinct experiences and therefore to distinct learnings, despite the students being in the same learning environment. The research problem was the learning asymmetry in Production Planning and Control (PPC) by students with different Active-Reflective learning styles in a business game-based learning environment. The research question was: does the use of a business game generate a more effective learning process for students with an Active learning style? The main objective was to test the meshing hypothesis of the Active-Reflective learning style with the learning environment. The learning outcomes were assessed by means of an exam. Using Bloom\'s taxonomy (ANDERSON; KRATHWOHL, 2001) the exam assessed learning outcomes of the cognitive processes (remembering, understanding, applying, and analyzing) and of the types of knowledge (factual, conceptual and procedural). Active-Reflective learning style of each student was assessed using the Felder and Silverman (1988) inventory of learning style (ILS). Two quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test with separate samples were conducted; the first one, with 375 students, to evaluate the differences in the learning of students with different learning styles (Active-Reflective). The second one, with 100 students, aimed to study the effect of the increase of reflective activities on asymmetry of students learning due to their learning styles (Active-Reflective). The first quasi-experiment showed lower learning by Active students. To explain the results, the Kolb, D. (1984, p. 42) experiential learning theory was used. The experiential learning relies on the four stages of a cycle: concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization and active experimentation. It was assumed that, the lower learning of the students with Active learning style, was caused by the lack of reflective activities during the business game. The Reflective students, who prefer the transformation of knowledge by reflective observation (introspection), were encouraged, by the game, to experiment actively the knowledge. They would have been able to close the learning cycle more effectively than the Active students: by reflecting, due to their personal preferences, and, by acting, due to the circumstances imposed by the business game. To confirm this assumption the second quasi-experiment was developed increasing the reflective activities of the experience. The results, then, led to the acceptance of the learning equality of students regardless of their Active-Reflective learning style. Based on the references and data observed in this study, it is suggested that the learning agents consider, in their teaching and learning plans, the cyclical nature of experiential learning, as defined by Kolb, D. (1984). In accordance with the studies of Felder and Spurlin (2005), of Belhot and Seno (2009) and of Felder (2010), it is suggested providing learning opportunities in a balanced way to students with any learning style. To the educators that already use games, it is important to encourage students, especially the Active ones, to review the results of the game and make reflective observations.

Caractérisation biochimique et structurale des RNases P et MRP chez la levure Saccharomyces cerevisiae / Biochemical and structural characterization of RNases P and MRP in S. cerevisiae

Batisse, Claire 23 January 2013 (has links)
Ribonuclease P (RNase P) is an endoribonuclease that cleaves the 5'-leader sequence of pre-tRNAs. RNase P is conserved between all taxonomic kingdoms and consists of a catalytic RNA subunit and protein components of variable size, from one protein in bacteria to 5 proteins in archae and at least 9 proteins in eukaryotic cells. In addition to RNase P, eukaryotes possess the RNase MRP which has a related RNA core and shares 8 proteins subunits with RNase P but with its own substrate specificity. Here, we propose an original method to purify specifically RNase P and RNase MRP from S. cerevisiae. Using electron microscopy and image processing, we solved the first structure of these two holoenzymes at a resolution of about 1.5 nm. We showed that eukaryotic RNase P and RNase MRP have a modular architecture, where proteins stabilize the RNA fold and contribute to cavities, channels and chambers between the modules.Structural features are located at strategic positions for substrate recognition by shape and coordination of the cleaved-off sequence.

Characterization of protein factors targeting RNA into human mitochondria / Caractérisation de protéines impliquées dans le processus d'adressage d'ARN dans les mitochondries humaines

Gowher, Ali 17 September 2013 (has links)
The import of yeast tRNALys (tRK1) into human mitochondria in the presence of cytosolic extract suggests that human cell possesses machinery for tRK1 import. Here, we show that precursor of mitochondrial lysyl-tRNA synthetase (preKARS2) interact with tRK1 and its derivatives containing tRK1 import determinants, and facilitates their import into isolated mitochondria and in vivo, when preKARS2 was overexpressed or downregulated. tRK1 import efficiency increased upon addition of glycolytic enzyme enolase, previously found as an actor of RNA import in yeast. We found that tRK1 and its derivatives translocate into mitochondrial matrix in polynucleotide phosphorylase (PNPase) dependent manner. Furthermore, a point mutation preventing trimerization of PNPase affect import of 5S rRNA and MRP RNA into mitochondria and subsequently mitochondrial translation. Overexpression of the wild-type PNPase induced an increase of 5S rRNA import into mitochondria and rescued translation.
