Aplikace nástrojů Lean Six Sigma / Application of Lean Six Sigma ToolsTrávníček, Vojtěch January 2016 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with problematic of enterprise process management. Several process management approaches are described in the first, theoretical part of the thesis, with focus on Lean Six Sigma concept as a main theory, which is used in analytical and suggestional part of this thesis. The analytical part consists of process mapping and analyzation with purpose of finding weak spots of this process. This part is followed by suggestional part, where are collected improvement suggestions. These suggestions are then evaluated and the best ones are analzyed to find potential ammount of savings.

Lean knowledge life cycle framework to support lean product developmentMaksimovic, Maksim January 2013 (has links)
This research thesis presents the development of a novel Lean Knowledge Life Cycle (LeanKLC) framework to support the transformation into a Lean Product Development (LeanPD) knowledge environment. The LeanKLC framework introduces a baseline model to understand the three dimensions of knowledge management in product development as well as its contextualisation with acclaimed LeanPD process models. The LeanKLC framework comprises 23 tasks, each accomplished in one of the seven key stages, these being: knowledge identification, previous knowledge capture, knowledge representation, knowledge sharing, knowledge integration, knowledge use and provision and dynamic knowledge capture. The rigorous research methodology employed to develop the LeanKLC framework entailed extensive data collection starting with a literature review to highlight the gap in the current body of knowledge. Additionally, industrial field research provides empirical evidence on the current industrial perspectives and challenges in managing product development knowledge. This research was part of a European FP7 project entitled Lean Product and Process Development (LeanPPD), which provided the opportunity to involve industrial collaborators in action research to support practical aspects during the LeanKLC framework development. The synthesis with the current LeanPD paradigm is accomplished by demonstrating the LeanKLC stages in two distinct streams related to the development of A3 thinking for problem solving and the development of trade-off curves to facilitate set based design at the conceptual stage. The novel LeanKLC is validated in two case studies providing the industry with detailed insights on real product development applications. In particular this research highlights that the LeanPD knowledge environment is a wide subject area that has not yet been thoroughly understood and that industry engagement in empirical research is vital in order to realise any form of LeanPD transformation.

Přínos projektů VS LSS pro rozvoj znalostí v organizaci / Contribution of VS LSS projects for the knowledge development in an organizationSmolková, Petra January 2015 (has links)
The thesis studies the potential contribution of projects of Quality Management and Lean Six Sigma Specialization for the knowledge development in the participating organizations. Students taking class in compulsory subject Quality Management and Lean Six Sigma Practical were participating in those projects. Mentors from participating organizations were interviewed. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the history and selected tools of Lean Management. The significance of continuous improvement, as an integral part of Lean Management, is discussed. The thesis describes knowledge management and selected models of knowledge creation and transfer. The practical part includes a description of an employed methodology and interviews results. The thesis concludes a proposal of changes that can result in improvement of projects contribution for the knowledge development in the participating organizations.

Zvýšení efektivity obchodního oddělení ve vybrané IT společnosti. / Sales Department Efficiency Increase in Selected IT Company.Vrtiška, Pavel January 2013 (has links)
Main purpose of this thesis is creation of suggestions leading to sales department efficiency increase. Throughout the theoretical part three main approaches dealing with changes in organizations are introduced. These approaches are Process Management, Lean Management and Change Management. Some of the principles and methods introduced are then applied during suggestions development in the second (practical) part of the thesis. The second part begins with the introduction of the company and selected departments. It is thereafter followed by deep analysis of the current state resulting in main constraints discovery. Based on these findings specific suggestions for its elimination are developed. By elimination of these constraints the efficiency of sales department should be increased. Finally, quantification of expected benefits is performed and compared with the defined objectives.

Modelování a optimalizace procesů na operační úrovni / Modelling and Optimization of Processes at an Operational LevelCerman, Tomáš January 2011 (has links)
Theses is devided into two parts, the first one is dealing with theory the other one with practical exercise. There is basic terminology set in the first part, focusing mainly on process management and methodologies leading the current evolution in that respect, Lean and Six Sigma. I also refer about tools for mapping the processes and devote a section to theory of queues which is a main subject for modelling in the practical part. I have not omitted to mention axioms for modeling itself. Practical part comes from job experience I had. Main goal is to set up a model simulation based on the main features of the process structure, involve main principles of mentioned methodologies and to discuss the results simulation brings.
