No. of bitstreams: 1 dissertacao priscila rohnelt.pdf: 3517303 bytes, checksum: ad0c0f20f332a88843bf3896d50cb08a (MD5) Previous issue date: 2011 / O objetivo central deste trabalho consiste em identificar os espaços de participação das mulheres camponesas nas atividades socioprodutivas, em um estudo de caso, na localidade de Trapeira, município de Canguçu – RS, e, a partir disso, compreender a importância do papel assumido pela mulher na reprodução social da unidade familiar, o qual combina atividades agrícolas e não agrícolas, caracterizando a existência da pluriatividade no contexto da agricultura familiar camponesa. O caráter central que a mulher assume na organização interna da agricultura familiar e a sua versatilidade frente à adesão a novas atividades possibilitam a reprodução do grupo familiar e, em muitos casos, a manutenção do patrimônio fundiário. Em face das múltiplas dimensões da participação das mulheres no contexto da agricultura familiar, o ser agricultora para as mulheres camponesas inclui um rol de atividades e obrigações a ser desempenhado que extrapolam a esfera da produção e se constitui num modo de vida. Assim, a organização do trabalho no interior das unidades familiares denota novas dinâmicas socioprodutivas produzidas no espaço rural, nas quais a mulher assume um papel central visto que atua em diversas esferas da vida camponesa, inclusive na geração de renda agrícola e não agrícola. / The aim of this paper is to identify the spaces of participation of peasant women in socio-productive activities, in a case study, in the location named Trapeira, municipality of Canguçu - RS, Brazil, and, from this, understand the importance of the role played by woman in social reproduction of the family unit, which combines agricultural and non agricultural activities, characterizing the existence of pluriactivity in the context of peasant family farming. The central character that woman assume in the internal organization of family farming and her versatility to join new activities enable the reproduction of the family group and, in many cases, the maintenance of landholdings. Given the multiple dimensions of women‟s participation in the context of family farming, to be a peasant woman includes a list of activities to be performed and obligations that go beyond the sphere of production and constitutes a way of life. Thus, the organization of work within family units denotes new socio-productive dynamics produced in rural space, in which the woman assumes a central role since it acts in different spheres of peasant life, including the generation of agricultural and non-agricultural income.
