Městská knihovna v Přerově / City Library of Přerov

Domkář, Milan January 2012 (has links)
The newbuild library is situated close to the bank of the river Bečva in the historical part of the town. The library is a place to save the values of knowledge, culture and the era itself. It should be strong and durable. It should last for centuries and saveguard its fragile content. However, it should also be an open place for people because information itself is worthless without the human mind to interact with. The contrast of openness and seclusion is expressed not only by shape of the structure but also its facade. The whole building is center-oriented – to the central hall, which is surrounded by books. Secluded volume of the hall is accessed via opening to the library's foreground.

Fuktskador i förskolor – reparation eller nybyggnation? / Kindergartens damaged by damp – repair or build new buildings?

Nordahl, Bertil January 2015 (has links)
Several kindergartens in Nynäshamn are damaged by damp. The damage is so severe that only two options remain; extensive repairs or demolition and build new buildings. Which option is best from a building technology point of view? In search for the answer Midgård’s kindergarten has been studied. That building is especially interesting for two reasons: • It is the first kindergarten damaged by damp in Nynäshamn to go through extensive repairs. • The other kindergartens damaged by damp in Nynäshamn have a similar construction. The conclusion is that it is better to demolish and build a new building. The main reason is the restrictions set by the building’s original shell. It makes it impossible to live up to today’s all building standards for kindergartens.

Zukunft Campusmitte. Die Zweigbibliothek Medizin der SLUB plant ihren Neubau

Golsch, Michael 22 December 2009 (has links) (PDF)
Zukunftsmodell Bibliothek?
