Previous issue date: 2017-03-07 / Não recebi financiamento / The thesis is the result of an ethnographic research in the Middle Rio Negro region of the Amazonian northwest. This region is inhabited by multiethnic populations (Arawak, Eastern Tukano and Yanomami), predominantly for the baré group, which participates in a broad process of sociality with multiple agents, both human and nonhuman. It is tried to present the perspective of the Baré as to the economic system of which they participate, considering this wide range of relations. From the narratives and reports from daily life, I address issues such as the occupation of the present territory, the constitution of communities, work on the extraction of piaçaba and its link with other worlds and their owners. From the baré point of view, I try to elaborate an anthropological reflection about the main gears of the economic system in which they participate - the regime de aviamento, in which patrons and customers connect in symmetrical and asymmetric relations. In this context, I discuss the encounters between humans and non-humans in different social spaces: the river, the forest and the community. The meetings in these spaces are a complex and complex system that includes patrons, patrons, owners, recipients, prayers, shamans, enchants, and whose synthesis can be taken from a baré story: "Together and mixed are true peoples, inhabitants of the forest and Rivers ". / A tese é o resultado de uma pesquisa etnográfica no Médio Rio Negro, na região do noroeste amazônico. Essa região é habitada por populações multiétnicas (Arawak, Tukano Oriental e Yanomami), com predominância para o grupo baré, que participa de um amplo processo de socialidade com múltiplos agentes, humanos e não-humanos. Procura-se apresentar a perspectiva dos Baré quanto ao sistema econômico de que participam, considerando esse amplo leque de relações. A partir das narrativas e de relatos oriundos na vida diária, abordo questões como a ocupação do território atual, , a constituição das comunidades, o trabalho no extrativismo da piaçaba e seu vínculo com outros mundos e seus donos. Desde o ponto de vista baré procuro elaborar uma reflexão antropológica acerca das principais engrenagens do sistema econômico do qual eles participam – o regime do aviamento, no qual patrões e fregueses se conectam em relações simétricas e assimétricas. Nesse contexto, discuto os encontros entre humanos e não humanos em diferentes espaços de socialidade: o rio, a floresta e a comunidade. Os encontros nesses espaços configuram um emaranhado e complexo sistema que inclui patrões, fregueses, donos, benzedores, rezadores, xamãs, encantes, e cuja síntese pode ser retirada de um relato baré: “juntos e misturados somos povos verdadeiros, habitantes da floresta e dos rios”.

Title: Public relations of the SportFotbal company Objective: The main aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse the current state of the Public Relations (PR) activities of SportFotbal in relation to the target public and make recommendations for improvement. Methodes: In the process of assembling information some internal documents of SportFotbal were used. In addition to these interviews with the marketing and business manager were conducted. This formed the basis for the format adopted and influenced the assumptions of the company towards stakeholders. Through informal interviews and discussions with the management of the company, further information about the functioning of the company was obtained. Results: The outcome of the analysis of the SportFotbal Public Relations for the year 2017 is clearly stated in the presented diploma thesis. The results of in-depth interviews, analysis of texts and documents indicate that the public relations medium was not sufficiently utilized in the environment considered. Based on these findings, proposals were drawn up for the effective use of public relations of the medium for the year 2018. The concept adopted is a plan for organizing events for interest groups. The Relationship Between External Turbulence and New Product Development PracticesMaxwell, Michael W. 01 January 2017 (has links)
This dissertation considered whether new product development practices employed resolved the uncertainty and equivocality in information processing created by external turbulence. With external turbulence coming from more sources and arriving with greater frequency, this wave of change must be addressed to achieve desired project outcomes. Healthcare was the target industry for this research and respondents were selected from members of HIMSS, the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society. Five hundred sixty-three survey responses were collected about completed new product development projects. The aspects of the projects reported included the external turbulence experienced, flexible new product development practices employed, the effectiveness of information processing and the project’s outcomes. The results using all respondents did not show support for the crucial hypothesis that reduction of uncertainty and equivocality in the information processing environment leads to desired new product development outcomes. While the full respondent set did not support the main hypothesis, the subset of projects that were completed during the ramp-up of the Affordable Care Act showed the hypothesized relationship. With the Affordable Care Act ramp-up, there was a wave of change and a high volume of new information generated by external turbulence. Those organizations that were successful used their information processing capabilities to reduce uncertainty and equivocality and address the changes. Their information processing capability combined with flexible product development practices was directly related to positive new product development outcomes. The extreme example of external turbulence that occurred during the Affordable Care Act ramp-up supported the crucial hypothesis about information processing. The research also found that external turbulence is related to the positive use of flexible new product development practices and that use of those practices is directly related to desired new product development outcomes. In the presence of external turbulence, product development teams use flexible new product development practices to achieve desired project outcomes. The major implication from this study is the need by product development teams to consider external turbulence as a factor in all product plans. It was the strongest relationship reported.

It will argue that the current legal framework has failed in its desired aims and in addressing prostitution effectively. This mini-thesis critically analyses the underlying reasons for prostitution in South Africa and discovers that it is influenced by a myriad of interrelated factors. The current level of poverty and the prevailing socio-economic paradigm in South Africa have contributed to its complex nature. The demand for prostitution acts as a catalyst for both the further exploitation of prostitutes and women, while making them vulnerable to sexually transmitted diseases. I establish that criminalisation alone is not sufficient to address prostitution, especially given the HIV/AIDS epidemic. / South Africa

Universidade de Taubaté / This dissertation intends to address of the competitive disadvantage between the commercial center of downtown Taubaté and the only shopping mall of the city. For this it purpose a strategic plan was worked out (or devised) which could be used by the small companies of the downtown area to help them satisfy their customers in order to revert the disadvantage that now occurs. So, the object of this work is the elaboration of a competitive plan for customers satisfaction, based on a real need noted by small managers, which is the lack of large safe area which would work as parking lot for vehicles of customers who use the central region of the city. To do this work, a bibliographical-documental method was used, which through the investigation of documents, tried to verify the viability of the use of the concepts of strategical planning and the customers satisfaction, as a way to satisfy the unmet needs of customers, because it was noted that the underground region of the Dom Epaminondas square supports the strategical requirement and the engineering requirements to reach the objectives. / Esta dissertação trata da desvantagem competitiva entre o centro comercial de Taubaté e o único shopping da cidade. Para isso, formulou-se um planejamento estratégico que pudesse ser utilizado pelas micro e pequenas empresas da região central de modo que elas consigam meios para satisfazer seus clientes e reverter a desvantagem ora percebida. Portanto, o objeto deste trabalho é a formulação de um planejamento competitivo de satisfação dos clientes, com base numa necessidade real percebida pelos micro empresários: a falta de um local amplo que possa, com segurança, servir de estacionamento para os veículos dos clientes que se utilizam da região central da cidade. Na consecução deste trabalho, utilizou-se o método bibliográfico-documental, para, por meio de documentos, inferir a viabilidade da utilização dos conceitos de planejamento estratégico e de satisfação dos clientes para solucionar o caso pesquisado. Verificou-se, com a pesquisa, a viabilidade da proposta que objetiva construir um estacionamento na região central da cidade como forma de atender aos desejos não satisfeitos dos clientes, e observou-se que a região subterrânea da praça Dom Epaminondas atende aos requisitos estratégicos e de engenharia para os fins propostos.
