hsu, shih-ching 10 September 2008 (has links)
Therefore Kinmen because of the Kuomintang and Communist Parties war, for a long time battlefield government affairs related prohibition rule and military control influence. After on November 1, 1992 relieved the battlefield government affairs military control, for the effective management land resource's development, in January 20, 1996 announced that implemented the Kinmen specific area plan. But shape extension from the Minnan tradition construction pattern and the culture, has the regional color extremely the traditional settlement, after facing the so significant policy the change, in the settlement has many big heavy changes inevitably. This research is on the Kinmen specific area land development permission consideration system (Kinmen County natural village development permit consideration standard), review on the traditional settlement public space development's influence, divides into the system and the actual case observation and so on two general orientations, spirit and the goal the elaboration development permit consideration system, the execution way and the result is the key point; The actual case extension of by the traditional settlement public space texture, newly supposes the construction to use the open area for the public to use directions and so on inventory survey primarily. By present situation material's collection reorganization,, preceding the public spatial production result the appraisal, Seeks for the settlement public space the significance and the value is., seeks for in the system the feasible adjustment. The public space's production is the Kinmen specific area land development permission consideration system important goal. This research already regarding development plan's important item and the topographic diagram, inspected one by one by the observation approach the development base has constructed in the use, the collection reorganization public uses the open area present situation material. After collecting entire data and set of cartography discovery, this policy and is inferior to the public spatial production's result to anticipate obviously. May discover the consideration system lacks the superior plan to instruct, the examination resolution carries out the mechanism deficient, with the place environment project deficient conformity contact surface, to use the open area deficient for the public to be too scattered, and the development consideration process lacks questions and so on public participation to wait for overcoming with adjusts. In addition, this research to Kinmen area tradition settlement under development licensing system, for adaptation modern life state, regarding public spatial texture development and vicissitude, by examination licensing system moderate adjustment, but promotes the public spatial production to carry out the proportion effectively, improves in the natural village the living conditions quality.

Paternalistic Leadership and Subordinate Emotion Responses : The traditional psychological of subordinate

Li, Tong-zong 04 February 2009 (has links)
Since the theory of paternalistic leadership was established, an increasing number of empirical studies have proved that Chinese of enterprises in the organization does have a unique act of paternalistic leadership. So a leader in the leadership behavior displayed at the same time, their subordinates would die behavior, such as: authoritarian leadership: dependence and compliance, benevolence leadership: gratitude and repay, moral leadership: respect and identification. However, it has been for years of paternalistic leadership research, mostly emphasis in leadership behavior and performance of their subordinates, but less emotion involved subordinates reaction. Therefore, the study director of the paternalistic leadership and subordinate emotion, respectively in charge of the authoritarian leadership behaviors and subordinates anger and shame response to emotional responses, benevolence leadership behaviors and subordinates happy emotional responses, moral leadership behaviors and subordinates respect emotional responses, to explore the tradition of his subordinates on the emotional reaction of the psychological adjustment; and subordinates own sense of perception, to discusse the subordinate changes in emotional responses relationship. Total valid 300 subordinates to carry out research are found that: (a) the traditional psychological adjustment subordinates will anger and shame response to emotional responses; traditional psychological reaction to the anger was not significant, but a significant emotional reaction of shame. (B) Subordinates own consciousness and traditional psychological adjustment subordinates at the same time anger and shame response to emotional responses; high traditional subordinate own psychological, emotional reaction of shame have a significant effect of regulation. Finally, direction for follow-up studies are offered, the implications for leadership theory and practice are also discussed.

The Study of Conventional Industry: Market Develops from B to B into B to C-Reference:Gallant-Ocean International.,Inc

Ho Hsu, Yueh-yuan 24 June 2009 (has links)
Taiwan Island has magnificent resources, one of them is fishery industry, which happens to be one of Taiwan¡¦s major economical activities. Seafood is considered by the people general to be a health choice, primarily for its assortment, tenderness, high nutrition of values and low in both calories and cholesterols. Gallant Ocean International Inc. exports 66% of Taiwan¡¦s total annual seafood productions, indicating its industry leading status and capacity. To the current Taiwanese seafood industry, there is only focus in seafood processing and production, and commonly lacks the knowledge and experience of marketing, branding and distribution channels. It is the aim of the study to discuss and explore the operations and influences of corporate integrated purchasing, e-commerce, organic produce channels, marketing activities and Blog marketing; based on the case study of Gallant Ocean International Inc. In the research design perspective, this study employs Gallant Ocean International Inc. as the primary research target, by adapting exploratory analysis of single case study, qualitative case study research and in-depth interviews to acquire the necessary data for research purpose. The case study intends to provide a reference business model in the domestic traditional industries for the transition and development from B to B to B to C. This study has observed that the Taiwanese traditional industries¡¦ development of B to C possesses the following trends: 1.The establishment of ¡§Own-Brand¡¨ has an influential effect on market development: developing own-brand is a current trend and also an assurance to quality. Transforming product to brand does not only require product being ¡§consumer-focus¡¨, but also needs to take into consideration of the quality and competitiveness. This is particularly important in order to attain seafood ¡§quality¡¨, ¡§freshness¡¨ and ¡§safety¡¨ being the primary considerations. 2.¡§Integrated marketing¡¨ has concrete results in operational effectiveness: Effective utilization of actual and E-channels in integrated marketing have concrete operational results in developing B to C retailing market. 3.Adaptation of ¡§Blog marketing¡¨ to establish virtual communities: Blogs have become increasingly popular due to its easiness to use, with low technical barrier, free of charge provides direct of interaction between both parties. Blog, being a free community marketing channel have attracted many B to C corporate utilizing them for relationship marketing. Finally, this research will present an argument for ¡§people being the most critical factor for domestic traditional industries in developing B to C markets.¡¨ Consequently the decision markers¡¦ decision-making ability and adaptation of integrated marketing tools are the critical success factors for the traditional industries¡¦ B to C markets¡¦ development.

Cloud Computing Evaluation : How it Differs to Traditional IT Outsourcing

Brunzel, Tino, Di Giacomo, Débora January 2010 (has links)

Introduction

Cloud Computing, that is providing computer resources as a service, is a technology revolution offering flexible IT usage in a cost efficient and pay-per-use way. As for the evaluation of companies to whether which technology solution to use, it would be necessary to decide whether or not the evaluation of cloud computing would actually differ to the traditional way of IT outsourcing.

Problem Discussion

Outsourcing IT capabilities are a crucial and inevitable step for enterprises that want to survive in the currently high competitive climate. Until now most of the researches, that has been done so far, only consider the XaaS model only from a traditional IT outsourcing point of view rather than in the cloud computing context. This research will now include the evaluation of cloud solutions giving companies another possibility to outsource their IT resources.

Purpose

The purpose is now to see how the evaluation of cloud computing possibilities as an outsourcing option actually differs to traditional IT outsourcing. One aspect that needs to be covered with this purpose, is whether it is possible to evaluate the source through a cloud computing solution with the same concepts and theories used to evaluate traditional IT outsourcing. It will also be the purpose to see, which aspects need to be added or removed when considering a cloud computing opportunity compared to the traditional IT outsourcing.

Method

With help of the theoretical framework, interviews have been launched with three companies to see what their general opinion and knowledge is on the evaluation of cloud computing and its maturity. Questions have been asked openly so that answers could not be directed or manipulated by the authors of the research.

Conclusion

After challenging the theoretical framework against the data collected, the traditional IT outsourcing theories appeared to be valid also for the evaluation of cloud computing solutions. Some important concepts are added to the evaluation of cloud computing solutions in consequence of particularities present in the model.

Design and Evaluation of A Low-Voltage, Process-Variation-Tolerant SRAM Cache in 90nm CMOS Technology

Fazli Yeknami, Ali January 2008 (has links)

This thesis presents a novel six-transistor SRAM intended for advanced

microprocessor cache application. The objectives are to reduce power

consumption through scaling the supply voltage and to design a SRAM that is fully process-variation-tolerant, utilizing separate read and write access ports as well as exploiting asymmetry. Traditional six-transistor SRAM is designed and its strengths and weaknesses are discussed in detail. Afterwards, a new SRAM technology developed in the division of Electronic Devices, Linköping University is proposed and its capabilities and drawbacks are illustrated deeply. Subsequently, the impact of mismatch and process variation on both standard 6T and proposed asymmetric 6T SRAM cells is investigated. Eventually, the cells are compared regarding the voltage scalability, stability, and tolerability to variations in process parameters. It is shown that the new cell functions in 430mV while maintaining acceptable SNM margin in all process corners. It is also demonstrated that the proposed SRAM is fully process-variation-tolerant.

Additionally, a dual-V t asymmetric 6T cell is introduced having wide SNM margin comparable with that of conventional 6T cell such that it is capable of functioning in 580mV.

Grammatik undervisning : Studie av grammatikens roll i den tidiga språkinlärningen / Grammar teaching : Study of grammar role in early language teaching

Forsman, Emelie January 2015 (has links)
This essay aims to generate understanding for todays grammar teaching in the early grades. Through base in previous research, I intend in this work to seek understanding of what affects the grammar development and its impact on education. I investigate in this essay teacher's approach to grammar and how it affects the incidence of grammar teaching. Work empiricism consists of qualitative research interviews and a survey with the intention to present a broad picture of grammatical meaning. Regarding to the informants that are involved in the investigation, I have deliberately chosen teachers from different generations to find reflections of their own education and how it influenced their view of grammar. My study shows that teachers acquire greater part of teaching about language functional side compared to the form of the language. The teachers who participated in the survey indicated that the language functional side priority by reason that the more responds to students' learning needs and promotes a desire to learn through meaningful for the student. Teachers' views on grammar and its impact on education was shown by the study to be quite individual and based on the teacher's own experiences. Therefore, could not this study present a clear picture of the teacher's definition of grammar.

Rematerializing the art object : Eleanor Antin’s Carving : A Traditional Sculpture in context with The Eight Temptations / Eleanor Antin's Carving : A Traditional Sculpture in context with The Eight Temptations

Bradley, Taylor 13 June 2012 (has links)
Rematerializing the Art Object examines Eleanor Antin's The Eight Temptations and Carving: A Traditional Sculpture. Temptations re-presents Antin's diet for Carving in a formal language of camp, mocking the dominant avant-garde culture and inspiring a less idea-based interpretation. Section one contextualizes Carving's formal qualities within a broader aesthetic history of photography and sculpture. Section two focuses on how Antin creates an amalgam of Renaissance and Baroque imagery in Temptations. Section three argues that Antin constructs a camp adaptation of the diet reducing the impact of an overly emotional woman and the seriousness of conceptualism to a cliché. Throughout, the thesis centers on the formal and aesthetic manifestations of Antin's humor. A performance within a performance, Temptations's parodic art history denounces pragmatic photography and empowers Antin as an artist and as a woman. / text

Nontraditional approximation in geophysical fluid dynamics

Liu, Yurun 03 September 2009 (has links)
In the conventional approach to geophysical fluid dynamics, only the horizontal components of the Coriolis force due to horizontal motions of the fluid are taken into account. All the other components of the Coriolis force, which are called the non-traditional (NT) terms, are considered to be small second order quantities and are usually dropped. This effectively simplifies the system and the nice and clean quasi-geostrophic (QG) equation can be obtained, which is widely used in analytical studies of climate systems. Interest has been drawn to the dropped terms in recent studies. It is shown that in some special cases these second order terms actually have a noticeable influence on the dynamics of the system. However, a full picture of these terms in the dynamics of the real ocean is still lacking. Here, we will start from the fundamental equations of fluid dynamics, and through careful scaling analysis conduct a detailed study of the governing equations of geophysical fluid dynamics while keeping the NT terms. We will specifically investigate the influence of these NT terms on equatorial waves, since near the equator the NT components of the Coriolis force are the most significant. / text
