Bakgrund Förekomsten av typ 2-diabetes ökar kraftigt över hela världen och är en allvarlig progressiv sjukdom. Behandlingssyftet för alla individer med diabetes är att minska individens symtom, samt förebygga komplikationer som sjukdomen kan ge. För att individen ska kunna undvika komplikationer krävs att individerna har goda kunskaper om sjukdomen och möjligheterna till en god egenvård. Tidiga insatser i form av livsstilsförändring, god egenvård, läkemedel, rådgivning och stöd behövs. Enligt Orems egenvårdsteori kan individen själv påverka sin livssituation genom att ta ansvar för sin hälsa. Detta kan göras lättare om individen får individanpassat stöd. Syfte Kartlägga vilken typ av stöd som kan resultera i förbättrad glykemisk kontroll mätt med HbA1c för individer med typ 2-diabetes. Metod En allmän litteraturstudie valdes som design. Artiklar söktes i databaserna PubMed, Cinahl. Tio artiklar svarade på syftet och inkluderades, alla bedömdes ha hög kvalitet enligt granskningsmall från SBU. Dessa artiklar granskades, bedömdes och redovisades i text och tabell. Resultat En rad interventioner gav individer med typ 2-diabetes stöd i sin egenvård som förbättrade HbA1c. Interventioner som telefonrådgivning, besök enskilt och i grupp samt stöd från annan individ med diabetes. Egenvården kan variera utifrån individernas sociala och kulturella erfarenheter. I flera av studierna tas det upp socioekonomins påverkan av egenvård och förbättrad blodsockerkontroll. Alla individer med typ 2-diabetes behöver individuella mål. Slutsats Alla patienter med typ 2-diabetes ska erbjudas stöd i form av gruppundervisning och telefonkontakter. Det leder till bättre glukoskontroll, mindre komplikationer, minskat lidande och minskade kostnader. / Background The incidence off type 2 diabetes is increasing rapidly throughout the world and is a serious progressive disease. The treatment for all individuals with diabetes is to reduce the individual's symptoms, as well as prevent complications that the disease can cause. In order to achieve that the individual can avoid complications, the individuals must have good knowledge of the disease and the possibilities for good self-care. Early efforts in the form of lifestyle change, good self-care, medicines, counseling and support are needed. According to Orem's self-care theory, the individual himself can influence his / her life situation by taking responsibility for his / her health. This can be made easier if the individual receives individualized support. Purpose Identify the type of support that can result in improved glycemic control as measured by HbA1c for individuals with type 2 diabetes. Method A general literature study was chosen as a design. Articles were searched in the databases PubMed, Cinahl. Ten articles responded to the purpose and were included, all were considered to have high quality acc. review template from SBU. These articles were reviewed, assessed and reported in text and table. Results A number of interventions gave individuals with type 2 diabetes supports in their own care as Improved HbA1c. Intervention such as telephone supports, individual and group visits and support from another individual with diabetes. Self-care may vary based on individuals ' SOCI - and cultural experiences. In several of the studies it is taken up socioeconomics influence of self-care and improved blood glucose control. All individual with type 2 diabetes needs individual goals. Conclusion All patients with type 2 diabetes should be offered support in the form of group teaching and telephone contacts. This leads to better glucose control, minor complications, reduced suffering and reduced costs.
