Šio darbo tikslas sukurti mokinių pavėžėjimo informacinę sistemą Kretingos rajono savivaldybės švietimo skyriui. Įgyvendinant projektą buvo siekiamą, kad sistema veiktų sparčiai ir stabiliai. Sistemoje turėjo būti realizuotas užsakovo pageidautas funkcionalumas. Taip pat buvo siekiama sukurti kuo paprastesnę, tačiau funkcionalią vartotojo sąsają. / This work is a student ride information system for Kretinga district education department. The project was designed to make the system work fast and stable. The system had to be realized in the customer expressed requirements for functionality. It was also aimed to create both simple and functional user interface.

I den här rapporten skapas en applikation med Zend Framework för att undersöka ramverket närmare. Zend Framework är ett av de största php-ramverken från grundarna av PHP. Rapporten är tänkt att hjälpa företag och privatpersoner, som tänker ta steget till Zend Framework, genom att skapa en introduktion till ramverket. Efter att ha läst rapporten kan förhoppningsvis beslut lättare fattas om företaget har tillräckligt med kompetens eller behov av att använda Zend Framework.

<p>FLB Logistik i Gävle är en lagerfirma som arbetar med lagerhållning och logistik åt andra stora företag. FLB har idag en webbsida där deras kunder kan logga in och se saldo och produkter som de lagerhåller. Problemet är att denna webbsida saknar en ”orderläggningsmodul”, en funktion där deras kunder kan lägga beställningar på pallar som de vill ha utkörda. Beställningar görs idag via e-post eller telefon till anställda hos FLB Logistik, som i sin tur skriver in alla beställningar manuellt i ett system. En ”orderläggningsmodul” skulle underlätta arbetet både för företaget och för deras kunder. Vi ska därför skapa en prototyp av en ”orderläggningsmodul” som ska testas av företaget och deras kunder. Denna prototyp byggs sedan skarpt av företagets systemutvecklare. Skapandet av prototypen görs med hjälp av HTML, CSS, JavaScript och PHP. En MySQL-databas används för att lagra information om beställningar, pallar, osv. Prototypen uppfyller alla de krav på funktioner som tagits fram tillsammans med företaget.</p>

Phosphohistidine phosphatase 1 (PHPT1) is a small protein, consisting of 125 amino acids, that catalyzes the dephosphorylation of histidine but does not have any activity towards other phosphorylated amino acids. PHPT1 was identified in 2002, and is so far the only mammalian histidine phosphatase known, but still little is known about its physiological role. No mammalian histidine kinases have hitherto been identified. Phosphorylation is one of the most important ways in which the structure and activity of a protein may be changed after translation. Proteins are phosphorylated on the side chain of amino acid residues. When a hydroxyl is phosphorylated the result is a phosphoester and when a nitrogen is phosphorylated the result is a phosphoamidate. Histidine may be phosphorylated on either of the two nitrogens of the imidazole ring of the side chain. The resulting phosphoamidate bond is labile and rich in energy, which makes histidine phosphorylation highly reversible and flexible. However, histidine phosphorylation is less studied than that of the phosphoesters due to the acid lability of the phosphoamidate bond. The work described in this thesis was focused on further elucidating the physiological role of PHPT1. Amino acid residues of importance for the activity of PHPT1 were identified, and mutants with decreased phosphatase activity were produced. These mutants have been used in studies on the function of PHPT1. By using immunohistochemical methodology the localization of PHPT1 in both mouse and human tissues was determined, with mainly similar results. A general finding was that expression of PHPT1 was high in epithelial cells with short turnover time, indicating that PHPT1 may have an important role in proliferating cells. We have also developed a comparatively fast and simple screening method for determination of PHPT1 activity. Since research in this field has been hampered by the lack of efficient and practical methodology, hopefully this new method will be an asset in search of inhibitors for PHPT1, which in turn may be used for detection of the elusive mammalian histidine kinases, the finding of which may give major breakthroughs in the field.

Brooklyn Tigers ville ersätta deras nuvarande CMS system Joomla på grund av att det saknades viktiga funktioner. Brooklyn Tigers ville därmed ha ett egen utvecklat CMS som motsvarade deras krav. Funktionerna som de ville ha var att användare skulle kunna bli medlem på webbplatsen och få olika användarnivåer beroende på om de var medlem i föreningen eller inte. De ville dessutom ha ett administratörsgränssnitt där det skulle vara möjligt att lägga till nya artiklar, ändra befintliga artiklar. Lägga till nya resor, ändra resor och se bokningar på resorna, samt skicka ut e-post till de som är bokade. Resultatet blev ett enkelt CMS-system där det är möjligt att skapa och ändra artiklar samt skapa och ändra resor.Dessutom kan man se alla bokningar som är gjorda.

In the area of the display of data and images from archaeological sites there is very little uniformity. Universities, museums, and institutions use a variety of techniques and software. Because of the lack of a common framework for storing information gathered from the field a great deal of time is lost converting between disparate file formats and learning new program structures. The goal of this project is to create an open platform to accomplish the specialized tasks of recording and displaying data from the field, specifically dealing with the unique problems associated with sites in an underwater context. The final result should be freely available and adaptable. Many challenges were overcome over the course of this project. Providing security, estimating the user’s level of technical ability, creating a simple but effective interface, creating a three dimensional object viewer, and using only tools freely available for public use were the primary problems. The software chosen to author the platform as well as the hardware requirements were intentionally left to a minimum to ensure that users without access to the latest hardware would still be able to use these tools. In addition to these requirements, the final product would have to be hardware agnostic, as well as operating system neutral. As tempting as it would be to call this project complete, it is very much still an evolving work in progress. As new challenges arise the platform should be robust enough to be able to adapt. The modular design of the platform will ensure that future users will be able to adjust and even create completely new components to add functionality and customize the software to their needs.
