Hyperjemné interakce v hexagonálních feritech / Hyperfine interactions in hexagonal ferrites

Cvešperová, Kateřina January 2011 (has links)
Nuclear magnetic resonance is a method, which provides information about the magnitude of hyperfine field present on izotope's nuclei with non-zero spin. The hyperfine field is sensitive to the local ordering of atoms surrounding the nuclei. The hyperfine field changes can be observed in response to changes in surroundings caused by substitution. The NMR spektra of 57Fe nuclei in the hexagonal ferrites with magnetoplumbit structure which contain cation substitution of trivalent cations Nd, Pr in crystallographic position of divalent cations Sr are measured and interpreted in this work. All experiment are measured at 4.2 K and we investigate the influence of the cation substituion on hyperfine field in thr measured oxides.

Příjem a zpracování vizuálních informací v dopravním provozu / Reception and Processing of Visual Information in Traffic

Černochová, Dana January 2013 (has links)
Reception and processing of visual information in traffic Mgr. Dana Černochová Abstract The theoretical part of this work deals with the visual perception of the driver. Special attention is paid to the perception of visual information in the whole range of the field of view. From psychological point of view, the term functional field of view is important, the construct taking into account not only perception, but also the attention. Its size depends on the amount of information which have to be processed at any given moment. Foreign literature uses the term "Useful field of view" under the abbreviation UFOV, german literature uses the term "nutzbares Sehfeld" under the abbreviation NSF. The experimental part of the work focuses on evaluating the changes of the visual perception in the range of the visual field in relation to age. For this the SET of 1361 people in age group from 18 to 90 years. In further subchapters the experiment is described where the secondary task was used as variable in order to find out whether the increased cognitive load affects the range of the useful field of view. For this experiment, the set of 645 people of age 18-90 years was used. The parameters of the visual perception in the situations with and without added secondary task were also monitored for the relationship to the...

Transportní a optické vlastnosti monokrystalů CdTe/CdZnTe / Transport and optical properties of CdTe/CdZnTe single crystals

Uxa, Štěpán January 2015 (has links)
Title: Transport and optical properties of CdTe/CdZnTe single crystals Author: Štěpán Uxa Department: Institute of Physics of Charles University Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Eduard Belas, PhD, Institute of Physics of Charles University Abstract: The thesis is focused on a study of internal electric field and temperature dependence of the absorption edge of CdTe and CdZnTe samples. In the first part of the thesis the transient-current technique (TCT) is used for investigations of electric fields within planar radiation detectors. The original comprehensive theory that links together TCT measurements with measurements of detector's charge-collection efficiency (CCE) is presented. This approach results in the development of two new iterative methods for processing of experimental data which can be used in any situation when the internal electric field can be approximated by a linear profile. In the second part of the thesis high temperature measurements of transmittance of thin polished CdTe samples are presented, leading to the estimation of the temperature dependence of the bandgap energy from calculated spectra of absorption coefficient. This is for the first time when measurements in a Cd overpressure have been performed which significantly reduces sample sublimation. Keywords: CdTe, transient-current technique,...

Analýza výskytu extremálních hodnot v čase a prostoru / Analysis of occurrence of extremal values in time and space

Starý, Ladislav January 2015 (has links)
This thesis describes and compares methods for statistical modeling of spatio- temporal data. Methods are extended by examples and numerical studies on real world data. Basic point of interest is statistical analysis of spatial data with unknown correlation structure and known position in space. Further analysis is focused on spatial data with temporal component - spatio-temporal data. Fi- nally, extremal values and their occurrences are discussed. The main aspiration of my thesis is to provide statistical tools for spatio-temporal data and analysis of extremal values of prediction. 1

Novostavba dřevostavby rodinného domu

Behančín, Jan January 2019 (has links)
A diploma thesis deal is to make a project documentation of a wooden house. Construction system is diffusion-open. The theoretical part presents material possibilities for construction system and describes the advantages and disadvantages of individual material. Parts of the project documentation are construction details, which are used for calculation of two–dimensional thermal simulation count by finite element method. Work describes input data, boundary condition and construction structure. For thermal simulation two software are used, because of comparison of results. Results from software are listed and explained by the options that could affect them.

Faktory určující rozšíření druhů suchých trávníků / Factors determining distribution of species in dry grasslands

Průchová, Dana January 2010 (has links)
Factors determining distribution of species in semi-natural grasslands Survival and colonization of plant species in fragmented landscapes are topic of many recent studies. Most of them deal with one or just a few species or with overall species diversity. There are also a lot of studies devoted to the effect of abiotic characteristics and other parameters of fragmented habitat patches. Studies that would enable to evaluate behaviour of a large number of individual species are still relatively rare, especially in case of grassland species. Comparison of species traits in conjunction with the knowledge of type of historical land use and abiotic requirements of species can be a key to understanding of current species dispersal and their regional dynamic in fragmented landscape. This method of prediction of species dispersal can be a good implement for landscape planning and conservation of species and also their habitats. Goal of my thesis was to determine which traits of species influence response of species on land-use history in fragmented habitat of dry grasslands. I tried to use effect of land-use history without effect of environmental factors on species composition in phytosociological relevés. Then I tried to explain the reaction of species through their traits. I focused partially on traits...

Sémantická funkce savčích ocasů v rámci designu análního pólu. / Semantic function of the mammalian tail in the design of anal pole of the body

Baxa, Marek January 2011 (has links)
The tail in mammals is an important organ, which in contrast to most vertebrae, doesn't add to the motor function of their bodies. The use of the mamals' tail is much more varied and it can fulfill many different functions. This work includes a survey of these functions and analyzes collected data concerning 553 spieces of mammals across all families. The data includes information about the length of tail, the length of body, body mass, living environment and outer signs on the anal pole of these species. The resulting analysis concludes that the tail length is dependent both on the length of the mammal's body and its living environment. Outward signs of the tail depend on its length as well as the length of the body and the living environment. Distinctive tail ending and tail base probably fulfill a communicative function. The tail is more likely to have communication than cryptic significance.

Pole der Unerreichbarkeit in Deutschland

Behnisch, Martin, Schorcht, Martin, Poglitsch, Hanna, Reiter, Denis 05 October 2020 (has links)

(Svenska) / The Value of repatriation. A biography of totem pole G’psgolox’s repatriation from Sweden to Canada. (Engelska)

Ekberg Toscano, Frida January 2021 (has links)
The study is an archaeological biography of the G'psgolox totem pole told from the Haisla people's perspective in Canada and adopts cultural relativism and the theory of ontology to highlight their experience and perspective on the repatriation process of the G'psgolox totem pole. The research has been limited to studying the totem pole only based on an emic perceptive, the Haisla people, and departures from secondary sources consisting of films, Haisla organizations websites, and literature where they shared their experiences. For the Haisla people, the G'psgolox totem pole is not like all other totem poles erected during their traditional potlatch ceremonies. This pole was created when Hailsa culture, society, traditions, beliefs, and identity were dying out due to, among other things, the European colonization and the consequences that it brought with it, such as "The Indian Act" in Canada. This act aimed to eradicate the country's indigenous cultures and inculcate the "white way," which turned into a mass extinction threat to different First Nations in Canada, such as the Haisla people. Therefore, since its creation, the G'psgolox totem pole has immeasurable value for Haisla's people since it symbolizes survival, strengthening of Haisla's culture and identity after almost disappearing. However, the pole was taken without consent ending in Sweden, which affected Haisla society and led to a series of international events, where the Haisla people strived to repatriate the G'psgolox totem pole to its origins. Previous studies of the repatriation process have, with some exceptions, mainly adopted the Western perspective, giving only the Western reality of the events, distorting the arguments in the repatriation debate to its advantages. The study shows that Haisla has a holistic perspective on their surroundings where everything is integrated, connected, and influences each other through time and space, including tangible and intangible material and across the living and spiritual world, which differs from the Western perspective, and more when it comes to the understanding of the value of cultural heritage. Therefore, through the repatriation process, the Western beliefs clash against Haisla's reality and value over their cultural heritage. Although this, the Western way tended to dominate the whole repatriation before, during, and after the process, minimizing, in this case, the Haisla peoples perspective and the cultural value that the G'psgolox totem pole could bring to them.

Sociální významy cvičeníprezentované českými časopisy pro ženy / Social meaning of physical exercise presented by some of the Czech women's magazines

Semotánová, Adéla January 2012 (has links)
The subject of the thesis is meanings of the physical exercising presented in the Czech women magazines, which I explored through qualitative content analysis of the articles focused on exercising. Three relevant frames or research areas emerged from foreign literature, which became the frames of the analysis: value of the exercise related to the body, the exercise as possible social field and gender level of these practices. I was specifically interested, if the exercise is presented as activity that helps to create socially disciplined body or individually restituted body for personal needs. Or if the exercise creates specific social field - sphere with specific relationship, rules and capital and if the gender is an important factor, connected to the presentation of the exercises in magazines, focused on women. The results show that the exercise is activity that creates the restituted body so as the disciplined body. It is not possible to define, if it is specific social field. The articles content so positive indications as those, which do not comply with the social field definition. Ideal femininity and ideal woman body should be reached by exercising. This ideal woman identity varies from reader's identity, which magazines define as "common" woman. The gender is an important factor that has...
