Por?m, muitos s?o os estudos que devem ser realizados, antes que se inicie o plantio comercial em larga escala. O manejo correto da aduba??o eleva o lucro do produtor de duas formas. Primeiro, evita o gasto de fertilizantes em quantidades erradas e, depois, favorece o melhor desempenho da planta, proporcionando maior produtividade. Este trabalho objetivou avaliar a resposta do pinh?o manso (Jatropha curcas L.) a doses de NPK no crescimento de plantas e, no crescimento de plantas, produ??o de sementes e de ?leo em duas condi??es edafoclim?ticas. Para tanto, foram montados dois experimentos: o primeiro, em condi??es de casa de vegeta??o, teve os tratamentos dispostos em delineamento inteiramente casualizado, no esquema de fatorial fracionado (4x4x4)1/2, perfazendo 32 tratamentos com tr?s repeti??es, totalizando 96 parcelas experimentais, sendo as doses de N: 0, 75, 150 e 300 mg dm-3, na forma de ur?ia; doses de P: 0, 45, 90 e 180 mg dm-3, na forma de superfosfato triplo e doses de K: 0, 50, 100 e 200 mg dm-3, na forma de cloreto de pot?ssio. Ap?s 120 dias, foram avaliadas as seguintes vari?veis: altura das plantas, di?metro do caule, massa seca da parte a?rea e de ra?zes; an?lise qu?mica do solo ap?s a colheita das plantas e teor de macro e micronutrientes na parte a?rea das plantas. O segundo foi conduzido em campo, em duas condi??es edafoclim?ticas, em Diamantina e Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais. Ambos foram conduzidos da mesma forma: o delineamento utilizado foi o delineamento em blocos casualizados no esquema de fatorial fracionado (4x4x4)1/2, perfazendo 32 tratamentos. Foram aplicadas doses de N: 0, 25, 50 e 100 kg ha-1, na forma de ur?ia; doses de P2O5: 0, 75, 150 e 300 kg ha-1, na forma de superfosfato triplo e as doses de K: 0, 50, 100 e 200 kg ha-1, na forma de cloreto de pot?ssio. Foram avaliados o crescimento das plantas pela medi??o da altura de plantas e di?metro na altura do colo do caule a cada 30 dias; produ??o de sementes e de ?leo com uma colheita em Diamantina, em 2009, e duas colheitas em Governador Valadares, em 2008 e 2009. As plantas responderam negativamente ? adi??o de N e positivamente ao P e K , mostrando que o pinh?o manso ? eficiente na absor??o de N, que foi suprido pela mat?ria org?nica do solo. J? em campo, o pinh?o manso apresentou comportamentos distintos nas duas condi??es edafoclim?ticas. Em Governador Valadares, houve resposta positiva ? aplica??o de N e, em Diamantina, resposta negativa a N e positiva a P. N?o houve resposta a K em campo, indicando que o teor do solo foi suficiente para suprir a planta em todas as fases. No experimento de vaso, as doses de P e K recomendadas foram 25 e 67 mg dm-3, respectivamente. Os n?veis cr?ticos, correspondentes ?s doses recomendadas, foram de 10,6 para P e 74,0 mg dm-3 para K no solo (Mehlich-1). Para os teores na massa seca da parte a?rea do pinh?o manso foram de 3,74; 0,18 e 3,57 dag kg-1 para N, P e K, respectivamente. As doses recomendadas de P para o crescimento, a produ??o de sementes e de ?leo de pinh?o manso em Diamantina foram de 87, 72 e 72 kg de P2O5 por ha, respectivamente. Em Governador Valadares, n?o houve recomenda??o de aduba??o nitrogenada para a fase de crescimento das plantas; para a produ??o de sementes e de ?leo, a dose recomendada foi de 36 e 31 kg ha-1 de N, respectivamente. / Disserta??o (Mestrado) ? Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Produ??o Vegetal, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2010. / ABSTRACT The great demand for vegetable oils in Brazil, generated by the Brazilian Biodiesel Program, made the physic nut, a devalued specie, become an alternative for providing raw material. However, many studies must be carried out before beginning the large-scale commercial growing. The accurate fertilization increases the producer's profit in two ways, first avoids the fertilizers expense in the wrong quantities and then promotes better plant performance for higher productivity. This study evaluated the physic nut (Jatropha curcas L.) response to NPK doses on seedlings growth and plant growing, seed and oil production in two edaphic and climate conditions. Therefore, there were arranged two experiments: the first, in controlled conditions, was arranged in a completely randomized design, in the fragmented factorial scheme (4x4x4)1/2 comprising 32 treatments with three replicates totaling 96 plots and the N doses: 0, 75, 150 e 300 mg dm-3, in the urea form; P doses: 0, 45, 90 and 180 mg dm-3, in the triple superphosphate form and K doses K: 0, 50, 100 and 200 mg dm-3, in the potassium chloride form. After 120 days, there were evaluated the following variables: seedlings height, stem diameter, the shoot and roots dry mass and nutrients content in the soil and in the seedling shoot macronutrients and micronutrients. The second was conducted in field conditions on two places with distinct edaphic and climate conditions, Diamantina, MG and Governador Valadares, MG. Both were conducted in the same way, the design was in randomized blocks, in the fractional factorial scheme (4x4x4) 1 / 2. The N doses were applied: 0, 75, 150 and 300 mg dm-3, in urea form; P doses: 0, 45, 90 and 180 mg dm-3, in the form of triple superphosphate and K doses: 0, 50, 100 and 200 mg dm-3, in the potassium chloride form. There were evaluated the plants growth by the measure of plants height, stem diameter every 30 days, seeds and oil production with one harvest in Diamantina in 2009 and two harvests in Governador Valadares in 2008 and 2009. Seedlings responded negatively to N addition and positively to P, showing that physic nut is efficient in N uptake that was supplied by soil organic matter. Therefore, in the field physic nut showed different behavior in both edaphic and climate conditions. In Governador Valadares there was positive response to N application and in Diamantina there was negative response to N and positive for P. There was no response to K in either experiment, indicating that the content of the soil was sufficient to supply the plant at all stages. Seedlings responded negatively to N addition and positively to P. There was no response to K field, indicating that the content of the soil was sufficient to overcome the plant at all stages. In pot experiment the recommended doses of P and K were 25 and 67 mg dm-3, respectively. The critical level corresponding to the recommended dose, were 10.6 for P and 74.0 mg dm-3 for K in soil (Mehlich-1). For contents in shoot dry mass of physic nut seeds were 3.74, 0.18 and 3.57 dag kg-1 for N, P and K, respectively. The P recommended doses for growth, seeds and oil of physic nut in Diamantina was 87, 72 and 72 kg P2O5 per ha, respectively. In Governador Valadares, there was no nitrogen indication for the plants growth phase, for oil and seeds production and the recommended dose was 36 and 31 kg ha-1 N, respectively.

Although there are resistant cultivars, the control has been made, essentially, with application of fungicides. These, despite the practicality and efficiency can lead to the accumulation of polluting substances in the air and in the fruits. This study aimed to evaluate: 1) the chemical control efficiency of the disease with commercial fungicides registered for crop and with alternative products such as syrups and plant extracts; 2) the influence of these treatments on the development and production of tomato; 3) the contribution of metals in the system and its contents in leaves and fruits; 4) to compare the contents of metals in the fresh mass of the fruits with the limits allowed by the legislation. Three trials were carried out, one in the greenhouse and two in the field, and different products were compared: mancozebe, tebuconazole, copper oxychloride, vi?osa mixture, bordeaux mixture, lime sulfur, garlic extract and water. Were evaluated the progress of the disease, the production and the supply of metals in the soil, plants and fruits (Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Pb, Ni and Zn). The disease occurred on average at low intensity and did not affect the fruit production, which did not allow an adequate evaluation of the efficiency of the treatments. Among all the products tested, bordeaux and vi?osa mixtures and mancozebe were the most efficient in controlling the disease, however, without affecting the accumulation of fresh and dry mass of the plants and productivity. Bordeaux and vi?osa mixtures were the products that contributed the most to the incorporation of metals to the agrosystem followed by mancozebe and copper oxychloride. The concentration of metals in the fruits was below the maximum limit allowed by the MERCOSUL Technical Regulation, however, it deserves attention in view of fact that the Cd values found in the fruits are very close to the allowed limit, especially in the treatments with vi?osa mixture, oxychloride copper and bordeaux mixture. The continuous use of fungicides and vi?osa and bordeaux mixtures can contribute to the accumulation of heavy metals in the agrosystem. New studies addressing this topic should be made. / A mancha-de-estenf?lio, causada por Stemphylium solani, tem ocasionado perdas na cultura do tomateiro (Solanum lycopersicum L.) em v?rias regi?es do Brasil. Apesar de existirem cultivares resistentes, o controle tem sido feito, essencialmente, com aplica??o de fungicidas. Estes, apesar da praticidade e efici?ncia podem levar ao ac?mulo de subst?ncias poluentes no ar e nos frutos. O presente trabalho teve como objetivos avaliar: 1) a efici?ncia do controle qu?mico da doen?a com fungicidas comerciais registrados para a cultura e com produtos alternativos como caldas e extratos de plantas; 2) a influ?ncia destes tratamentos no desenvolvimento e produ??o do tomateiro; 3) o aporte de metais no sistema e os seus teores nas folhas e frutos; 4) comparar os teores de metais na massa fresca dos frutos com os limites permitidos pela legisla??o. Realizaram-se tr?s ensaios, um em casa-de-vegeta??o e dois no campo e compararam-se diferentes produtos: mancozebe, tebuconazole, oxicloreto de cobre, calda vi?osa, calda bordalesa, calda sulfoc?lcica, extrato de alho e ?gua. Avaliaram-se o progresso da doen?a, a produ??o e o aporte de metais no solo, plantas e frutos (Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Pb, Ni e Zn). A doen?a ocorreu em m?dia a baixa intensidade e n?o afetou a produ??o de frutos, o que n?o permitiu uma adequada avalia??o da efici?ncia dos tratamentos. Dentre todos os produtos testados, as caldas bordalesa e vi?osa e o mancozebe foram os mais eficientes no controle da doen?a, por?m, sem afetar o ac?mulo de massa fresca e seca das plantas e a produtividade. As caldas bordalesa e vi?osa foram os produtos que mais contribu?ram para a incorpora??o de metais ao agrossistema seguido do mancozebe e do oxicloreto de cobre. A concentra??o de metais nos frutos esteve abaixo do limite m?ximo permitido pelo Regulamento T?cnico MERCOSUL, no entanto, merece aten??o tendo em vista o fato dos valores de Cd encontrados nos frutos estarem muio pr?ximo do limite permitido, especialmente nos tratamentos com calda vi?osa, oxicloreto de cobre e calda bordalesa. O uso cont?nuo de fungicidas e das caldas vi?osa e bordalesa podem contribuir para o ac?mulo de metais pesados no agrossistema. Novos estudos abordando este tema devem ser feitos.

Houve apenas efeito significativo para as doses de N isoladamente. Observou-se efeito linear decrescente com o aumento das doses de N para as vari?veis como n?mero de miniestacas, massa seca das miniestacas, massa seca da raiz e parte a?rea da minicepa de eucalipto. O n?mero de miniestacas e os teores de nutrientes foliares das miniestacas se apresentaram adequados ? literatura existente. However, ideal standards of nutrients concentration are not well established for the minicutting yet. So, the objective of this work was to evaluate the influence of NPK fertilizer in the production of minicuttings in a simple hybrid of Eucalyptus urophylla in?nutrient solution. The experiment was realized from November, 2008 to January, 2009 in vegetation ambient. The experimental design was a completely randomized in fractional factorial scheme (4x4x4)1/2 totaling 32 treatments with three replicates. The treatments consisted by four nutrient doses of N (50, 100, 200 and 400 mg L-1) in the urea form, P (7.5, 15, 30 and 60 mg L-1) in the phosphoric acid form and K (50, 100, 200 and 400 mg L-1) in the potassium chloride form, in the nutrient solution. There was a significant effect only for the isolated N doses for the minicuttings. It was observed that the effect with the number and dry mass of minicuttings and dry mass of root and shoots of ministumps of eucalypt decreased linearly with increasing doses of N. The number of minicuttings and the content of the leaf nutrients in minicuttings were appropriate according to the literature. The percentage distribution of dry mass and nutrients varied in function of the N doses increase. The highest percentage accumulation of nutrients and of dry mass occurred in ministumps and miniccutings shoots, except for Cu and Fe. The recommended dose to the genetic material was respectively about 50, 7,5 e 50 mg L-1 for NPK, with productivity of 12 miniccutings per ministumps in a period of 30 days of collecting and with nutrient accumulation in the ministumps about 6,0cm of eucalypt in the following values: 86% of N, 56% of P, 42% of K, 42 of Ca, 36% of Mg, 84% of S, 26% of B, 04% of Cu, 15% of Fe, 23% of Mn, and 12% of Zn.

O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a ocorr?ncia e a diversidade de FMAs em Syngonanthus elegans. Dez plantas com ra?zes e solo rizosf?rico foram coletadas, em julho de 2007, de locais de ocorr?ncia natural em Diamantina ? MG: Nascente do C?rrego do Soberbo e Parque Nacional das Sempre-vivas. Em cada local foi selecionada uma ?rea de 100 x 100m. Estas ?reas apresentam semelhan?a quanto ? fertilidade do solo e ao clima. Como controle, foram coletadas tr?s exemplares das esp?cies Loudetiopsis chrysothrix e Xyris sp. Em S. elegans foram observados estruturas f?ngicas como hifas, ves?culas arbusculos e esporos; alta porcentagem de ra?zes colonizadas (75 %) e 24 esp?cies de FMAs morfologicamente distintos. Mais da metade dos FMAs observados neste estudo n?o puderam ser identificadas a n?vel de esp?cie, sendo que algumas destas s?o possivelmente novas para ci?ncia, como Acaulospora sp.3, Scutellospora sp.1, Scutellospora sp.3 e Scutellospora sp. 4. As fam?lias de FMAs que ocorreram em S. elegans foram Gigasporaceae, Acaulosporaceae, Glomeraceae e Archaeosporaceae, sendo que as fam?lias Acaulosporaceae (47 %) e Gigasporaceae (35 %) foram predominantes nas duas ?reas. Foram observados cinco g?neros de FMAs em S. elegans ocorrendo nas ?reas estudadas, Scutellospora, Gigaspora, Acaulospora, Glomus e Archaeospora, sendo que o g?nero predominante no Soberbo foi Acaulospora (47 %) e Glomus (26 %) e no Parque Acaulospora (35 %), Glomus (29 %) e Scutellospora (24 %). No Parque, apesar de menor ?ndice de diversidade e equitabilidade, observou-se maior riqueza de esp?cies de FMAs. Essa maior riqueza de FMAs, aliada a melhor distribui??o de esp?cies por g?nero, indica que esta ?rea apresenta uma comunidade de FMAs mais est?vel. S. elegans ? uma planta micorr?zica e apresenta alta porcentagem de ra?zes colonizadas e diversidade de FMAs. Algumas esp?cies observadas podem ser novas para a ci?ncia. Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Produ??o Vegetal, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2008. / ABSTRACT The star-flower Syngonanthus elegans is a species endemic of Campos Rupestres that is threatened with extinction due to the extractivism, which seeks its natural beauty as the raw material for manufacturing of ornamental products with high commercial value. There is little information on the ecology of this species and none on the occurrence of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF). The objective of this study was to evaluate the occurrence and diversity of AMF in S. elegans. Ten plants with roots and rhizospheric soil were collected in July 2007 of places of natural occurrence in Diamantina - MG: the east C?rrego Soberbo and the Parque Nacional das Sempre-viva. At each location was selected an area of 100 x 100m. These areas have similar about the fertility of the soil and climate. As a control, were also collected three copies of the species Loudetiopsis chrysothrix and Xyris sp. In S. elegans fungal structures were seen as hyphae, vesicles, arbusculos and spores; high percentage of roots colonized (75%) and 24 species of AMF morphologically distinct. Over half of the AMF observed in this study could not be identified in terms of species, and that some of these are probably new to science, as Acaulospora sp.3, Scutellospora sp.1, Scutellospora sp.3 and Scutellospora sp. 4. The families of AMF that occurred in S. elegans were Gigasporaceae, Acaulosporaceae, Glomeraceae and Archaeosporaceae, and the families Acaulosporaceae (47%) and Gigasporaceae (35%) were predominant in the two areas. Five genera were observed of AMF in S. elegans occurring in the areas studied, Scutellospora, Gigaspora, Acaulospora, Glomus and Archaeospora, the predominant gender in Soberbo was Acaulospora (47%) and Glomus (26%) and the Park Acaulospora (35%), Glomus (29%) and Scutellospora (24%). In the Park, despite a lower index of diversity and evenness, there was greater wealth of species of AMF. This greater wealth of AMF, combined with better distribution of species by genera, indicates that this area has a community of AMF more stable. S. elegans is a mycorrhizal plant and it presents high percentage of colonized roots and diversity of AMF. Some observed species can be new for the science. New studies should evaluate the importance of AMF in the establishment and survival of S. elegans.

The areas of occurrence of these species are decreasing drastically due to excessive pressure of collection and management with fire, which is placed after the first rains (sept. / oct.) Nessas ?reas encontra-se um sistema de drenagem superficial com uma vegeta??o arb?reo-arbustiva e gram?neas, comumente denominadas de ?veredas?. O objetivo deste trabalho foi caracterizar morfol?gica, micromorfologica, quimica, fisica e mineralogicamente uma topossequ?ncia formada por Latossolo Vermelho Amarelo, Latossolo Amarelo, ?Latossolo Acinzentado? e Gleissolo representativos dos solos da microbacia da Vereda Lagoa do Leandro, localizada no munic?pio de Minas Novas - MG, enfatizando aspectos de sua g?nese e da evolu??o da paisagem nas chapadas do Alto Vale do Jequitinhonha. A topossequ?ncia est? embasada em rochas do Grupo Maca?bas e o clima ? tropical com esta??o seca de inverno. O Cerrado era a cobertura vegetal nativa nas ?reas de entorno da Vereda Lagoa do Leandro e foi substitu?do pelo reflorestamento com Eucaliptus sp. Os perfis ocupam as seguintes posi??es na vertente: topo - Latossolo Vermelho (LVA), ter?o m?dio de vertente - Latossolo Amarelo (LA), sop? - ?Latossolo Acinzentado? (?LAC?) e base da vereda - Gleissolo (GXbd). Esses perfis foram descritos e coletadas amostras deformadas e indeformadas para realiza??o das an?lises f?sicas, qu?micas, mineral?gicas e micromorfol?gicas. A Vereda Lagoa do Leandro ? caracterizada como de superf?cie tabular ocupando uma ?rea de aproximadamente 59 hectares. Os solos das partes mais elevadas da vertente apresentaram atributos morfol?gicos, f?sicos, qu?micos e mineral?gicos t?picos da classe dos Latossolos. No entanto, na base da vereda encontra-se o GXbd apresentando cores acinzentadas, forte gradiente textural e estrutura maci?a. A diminui??o de Fe cristalino e de baixa cristalinidade ao longo da vertente confirmou a perda de Fe e refletiu a cor dos solos. Os teores de Si e Al foram mais baixos no ?LAC?. Houve uma diminui??o da rela??o Fe2O3/TiO2 vertente abaixo, indicando impedimentos ? drenagem ao longo da topossequ?ncia. A mineralogia da fra??o argila em todos os solos ? dominada pela caulinita. Nos LVA e LA foram identificadas goethita, gibbsita e anat?sio, em ?LAC? anat?sio, em GXbd ilita, anat?sio e tra?os de vermiculita. A micromorfologia mostra a predomin?ncia da microestrutura tipo granular ou microagregados e porosidade do tipo empilhamento/empacotamento, t?picos de Latossolos, em LVA, LA e ?LAC?. No GXbd predomina a estrutura maci?a, com a presen?a de cut?s de iluvia??o e ferri-argil?s. Os solos e a paisagem da Vereda Lagoa do Leandro foram formados e evolu?ram juntamente com a instala??o e desenvolvimento da rede de drenagem que, por sua vez, est? relacionada com mudan?as clim?ticas pleistoc?nicas. Paleogleissolos foram latolizados pela a??o da fauna escavadora e deram origem aos atuais ?LAC?. Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Produ??o Vegetal, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2010. / ABSTRACT In the Alto Vale do Jequitinhonha there are large areas of flattened relief dominated by ?chapadas?, that are separated by areas dissected by tributaries of the river Jequitinhonha and Ara?ua?. In these areas there is one surface drainage system with a vegetation of trees and shrubs and grasses, commonly called ?Veredas?. The objective of this study was to characterize morphological, micromorphological, chemical, physical and mineralogically a toposequence formed by a Red Yellow Oxisol, Yellow Oxisol, ?Gray Oxisol? and Haplix Gleisol representative of soils in the watershed Vereda Lagoa do Leandro, located in Minas Gerais State, emphasizing aspects of its genesis and evolution of the landscape in the chapadas of the Alto Jequitinhonha. The toposequence is grounded by Maca?bas Group rocks, the climate is tropical with winter?s dry season. The Cerrado was the native vegetation in areas surrounding the Vereda Lagoa do Leandro and was replaced by the reforestation with Eucalyptus sp. The profiles occupy the following positions in the hillside: top - a Red Yellow Oxisol (LVA), the middle slope ? Yellow Oxisol (LA), the footslope ? ?Gray Oxisol? (?LAC?) and on the basis of the palm swanp ? Hasplic Gleisol (GXbd). These profiles were described and sampled and to carry out the physical analysis, chemical, mineralogical and micromorphological. The Vereda Lagoa do Leandro is characterized as tabular surface covering an area of approximately 59 hectares. The soils of the higher parts of the case showed the morphological, physical, chemical and mineralogical typical of Oxisols. However, at the base of the path is GXbd presenting the colors gray, strong texture gradient and massive structure. The reduction of crystalline Fe and amorphous over the case confirmed the loss of Fe and reflected the color of the soil. The contents of Si and Al were lower in the ?LAC?. There was a decrease in the case Fe2O3/TiO2 below hillside, indicating impediments to drainage along the toposequence. The clay mineralogy in all soils is dominated by kaolinite. In LVA and LA were identified goethite, gibbsite and anatase in ?LAC? anatase in GXbd illite, anatase and traces of vermiculite. Micromorphology shows the prevalence of type or granular microstructure and porosity of the micro-type stacking / packaging, typical of Oxisols, in LVA, LA and ?LAC?. In GXbd dominates the massive structure, with the presence of illuviation cutans and ferriargillans. The soils and the landscape of the Vereda Lagoa do Leandro were formed and evolved along with the installation and development of the drainage network, which in turn is related to Pleistocene climate change. Paleogleissols were latolization the action of the excavator and fauna led to the genesis of the ?LAC?. The GXbd the base of the palm swamp preserved the physical, mineralogical and micromorphological that had their genesis in dry periods. The genesis and characteristics of the soils of the topossequence and on the footslope and the basis of the palm swamp of the Chapadas of the Alto Jequitinhonha - MG are strongly influenced by the presence of ground water on the surface or near the surface all year, in present and/ or in past.

Atrav?s das caracter?sticas fisiol?gicas das sementes, os acessos A13, A20 e A17 se destacaram como fonte de material propagativo, por deter de maior vigor perante as caracter?sticas avaliadas. Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Produ??o Vegetal, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2009. / ABSTRACT The jabuticabeira (Myrciaria jabuticaba Berg), fruit species in the family Myrtaceae, as remarkable for the degree of acceptability of their fruits. Considering the lack of information about this type aimed at working with the genetic divergence among accessions of jabuticabeira ?Sahara? through biometric descriptors and physico-chemical and physiological fruit with seed in order to subsidize the Genetic Improvement program for jabuticabeira in the city of Diamantina. It has been used multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), the criterion of Tocher and principal component analysis to determine the genetic divergence. Among the 32 descriptors evaluated, the principal component analysis allowed the elimination of 21, because they show redundant and/or little influence. The remaining 11 were responsible for 92.31% of the total variation. Tocher's grouping method applied to the matrix of Euclidean shape average of 3 groups, with the largest of which comprised 22 accessions. According to the results of the class of jabuticabeira "Sahara" there is a significant variability among the characteristics. Descriptors DL, DT, seed number, SST/ATT pulp, pulp moisture, longitudinal diameter, the bark of the flavonoids, SST/ATT bark, bark tannins, the moisture from the skin, pulp and ATT that contributed polyembryony a characterization of the accessions jabuticaba. Jabuticaba?s hits considered a satisfactory variation for future improvements and conservation organizations of the species. Constituted the treatments: T1 - (Crotalaria + 0 spores FMA/m-1), T 2 - (Crotalaria + 300 spores FMA/m-1), T3-(Crotalaria + 900 spores FMA/m-1); T4 - (Crotalaria + 1800 spores FMA/m-1), T5-( Corn + 0 spores FMA/m-1) T6 - (Corn + 300 spores FMA/m-1) T7 - (Corn + 900 spores FMA/m-1) and T8 - (Corn + 1800 spores FMA/m-1) . Adopted was randomized block design, were estimated the biomass of shoots of each species, the number of spores and total G. clarum, the rate of colonization, the levels and amounts of N, P and K as well as the productivity of sweet potato tubers in commercial value. Pre cultivation of Crotalaria juncea showed higher root yield and part air of sweet potatoes when compared to corn. Inoculation with Glomus clarum allowing higher concentrations and total accumulation of N, P and K in shoots of maize and Crotalaria juncea. Inoculation with G.clarum pre cultivation Crotalaria juncea, allowing higher concentrations and total accumulation of N, P and K in shoots of sweet potatoes when compared to pre-cultivation with corn. The highest level of mycorrhizal colonization of sweet potato, was obtained after pre cultivation maize inoculated with G. clarum. The highest yield of sweet potato was obtained after cultivation of Crotalaria juncea inoculated at a dose of 1050 spores G. clarum per meter. / O estudo foi realizado no Campo Experimental da Embrapa Agrobiologia, Serop?dica, RJ, tendo por objetivo: avaliar os efeitos dos cultivos de milho e Crotalaria juncea inoculados com Glomus clarum, na capacidade de multiplica??o deste fungo micorr?zico arbuscular (FMA) e no desempenho da batata-doce (Ipomoea batatas) em sucess?o. This work had the objective to evaluate the contribution of the preformed roots of pineapple seedlings cultivar ?Vit?ria? in plant growth and nitrogen (N) absorption in the first months of acclimatization of the seedlings. A greenhouse experiment was conducted in the Department of Fitotecnia of UFRRJ, Serop?dica (RJ). The experimental design was randomized blocks in an incomplete factorial design, with three treatments of root pruning (without pruning, half pruning and total pruning), four times of N application (0, 30, 60 and 90 days after transplant ? DAT), four plant harvests at different growth stages (30, 60, 90 and 120 DAT), and five replications, summing 150 experimental units. The substrate was the A horizon of Planosol in 5 kg pots. At harvests, the shoot and root dry weight was measured. The root systems were scanned and their area and length determined by digital image analysis. Concentrations and content of N in shoots and roots, and the influx of N into roots, were determined. Plants without root pruning produced higher shoot mass at every harvest. The application of N at 0 or 30 DAT provided a larger shoot mass at 60 and 120 DAT. After 120 DAT, the plants that received root pruning had lower root mass, area and length, than those plants without pruning. Time of N application did not affect the mass, area or length of roots. The N application after 60 DAT caused higher biomass allocation to roots, increasing root:shoot ratio. Plants without root pruning showed higher specific root area and length at 30 and 60 DAT, hence thinner roots. Time of N application did not affected the N accumulation in shoots, but plants without root pruning and that received N at 0 and 30 DAT had a dilution effect of N, with lower shoot N concentration. Total root pruning provided lower N accumulation in plants. Influx of N per root area and root length was not affected by time of N application. Influx of N into roots was higher in plants that received root pruning, since they presented younger roots with higher absorption activity. It is concluded that the preformed root system of pineapple plantlets is able to absorb N during the first months after planting, and that the practice of pruning the root system, entirely or partially, leads to lower initial plant growth. / H? car?ncia de informa??es sobre a nutri??o mineral das novas variedades de abacaxi (Ananas comosus), bem como sobre o manejo do sistema radicular pr?-formado das mudas micropropagadas e sua efici?ncia na absor??o de nutrientes. Este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a contribui??o das ra?zes pr?-formadas em mudas micropropagadas de abacaxizeiro cultivar ?Vit?ria? no crescimento e absor??o de nitrog?nio (N) nos primeiros meses de aclimata??o das mudas. Foi conduzido um experimento em casa de vegeta??o no Departamento de Fitotecnia da UFRRJ, em Serop?dica (RJ). O delineamento experimental foi de blocos ao acaso em esquema fatorial incompleto, com tr?s tratamentos de poda de raiz (sem poda, meia poda e poda total), quatro ?pocas de aplica??o de N (aos 0, 30, 60 e 90 dias ap?s transplante ? DAT), quatro coletas em diferentes est?dios de crescimento (aos 30, 60, 90 e 120 DAT) e cinco repeti??es, totalizando 150 unidades experimentais. O substrato foi horizonte A de Planossolo em vasos de 5 kg. Nas coletas, foi mensurada a massa seca da parte a?rea e da raiz. Os sistemas radiculares foram digitalizados e sua ?rea e comprimento determinados por an?lise digital de imagens. Foram determinados os teores e conte?dos de N na parte a?rea e ra?zes, e o influxo de N nas ra?zes. As plantas sem poda de raiz produziram maior massa de parte a?rea em todas as ?pocas de avalia??o. A aplica??o do adubo nitrogenado aos 0 ou 30 DAT proporcionou maior massa de parte a?rea aos 60 e aos 120 DAT. Decorridos 120 DAT, as plantas que receberam poda de raiz apresentaram massa, ?rea e comprimento radicular inferiores ?s que n?o receberam. A ?poca de aplica??o do adubo nitrogenado n?o influenciou na massa, ?rea e comprimento radicular. A aplica??o do N ap?s 60 DAT causou maior aloca??o de biomassa nas ra?zes, aumentando a rela??o raiz:parte a?rea. As plantas sem poda de raiz apresentaram maior ?rea radicular espec?fica e comprimento radicular espec?fico aos 30 e 60 DAT, ou seja, ra?zes mais finas. A ?poca de aplica??o de N n?o modificou a acumula??o de N na parte a?rea, mas as plantas sem poda de raiz e com aplica??o de N aos 0 e 30 DAT apresentaram efeito de dilui??o do N, com menor teor de N na parte a?rea. A poda total proporcionou menor acumula??o de N nas plantas. O influxo de N por ?rea e por comprimento radicular n?o sofreu influ?ncia da ?poca de aplica??o de N. O influxo radicular de N foi maior nas plantas que receberam poda total, por apresentarem ra?zes mais novas, com maior atividade de absor??o. Pode-se concluir que o sistema radicular pr?-formado presente nas mudas micropropagadas de abacaxi se mostrou apto em absorver o N nos primeiros meses ap?s o plantio, e que a pr?tica da poda do sistema radicular, total ou parcial, acarreta menor desenvolvimento inicial das plantas.

Among these, non-conventional vegetables also have other advantages such as hardiness and the lowest price, but lacks information on these species which prevents an increase in its production and consumption. Thus, the objective of this study was to cultivate the species Hibiscus sabdariffa, better known as vinagreira, characterize some of its constituents and estimate its shelf life potential when stored in polypropylene packaging with different perforations and stored at 5 ? 1 ?C. The vinagreira remained for approximately 120 days in field conditions in the Horticultural Sector UFRRJ. The branches were collected and transported to the Embrapa Food, which were washed, selected, arranged in bunches of about 150g and subjected to treatment consisting of the conical packaging polypropylene, perforated (P), not perforated (NP), micro perforated (MP) and control (C) in which the packs were stored without use of packaging. They were carried physical, physicochemical and chemical every two days storage. The design was completely randomized in split plots, and treatments in the plots and the days of storage in the subplot. The results were analyzed using SPSS. It was the homogeneity and normality of the data, followed by analysis of variance and significance according to Tukey test and/or regression analysis. For control, the analyzes were performed only until the fourth day of storage due to reduction of apparent quality such as wilting and color changes of the leaves, while those packaged in decreased the apparent quality, with symptoms of senescence the eighth day of storage. The leaves have a high levels of titratable acidity and carotenoids, being the predominant malic acid and the major carotenoid, the ?-carotene. It was concluded that vinagreira is well adapted Climate conditions Serop?dica-RJ, showing the source of compounds with antioxidant activity. With regard to cold storage, the use of plastic polypropylene packaging provided greater potential life for vegetables, because in these conditions the bunches could be sold for up to seven days after harvest without loss of quality, while the control bunches potential shelf life was less four days. / As hortali?as s?o fonte de nutrientes essenciais ? sa?de humana e possuem baixo valor cal?rico. Dentre estas, as hortali?as n?o-convencionais apresentam ainda outras vantagens como a rusticidade e o menor pre?o, por?m faltam informa??es sobre estas esp?cies o que impossibilita um aumento da sua produ??o e consumo. Desse modo, o objetivo do presente trabalho foi cultivar a esp?cie Hibiscus sabdariffa, mais conhecida como vinagreira, caracterizar alguns dos seus constituintes e estimar a sua vida ?til potencial, quando acondicionada em embalagens de polipropileno com diferentes perfura??es e armazenadas a 5 ? 1 ?C. A vinagreira permaneceu por aproximadamente 120 dias em condi??es de campo no Setor de Horticultura da UFRRJ. Os ramos foram colhidos e transportados para a Embrapa Agroind?stria de Alimentos, onde foram lavados, selecionados, arranjados em ma?os de aproximadamente 150 g e submetidos aos tratamentos, constitu?dos pelas embalagens c?nicas de polipropileno, perfurada (P), n?o perfurada (NP), micro perfurada (MP) e o controle (C) em que foram armazenados sem o uso de embalagens. Foram realizadas an?lises f?sicas, f?sico-qu?micas e qu?micas a cada dois dias do armazenamento. O delineamento utilizado foi o inteiramente casualizado, em esquema de parcelas subdivididas, tendo os tratamentos nas parcelas e os dias de armazenamento na subparcela. Os resultados foram submetidos a an?lises estat?sticas pelo programa SPSS. Verificou-se a homogeneidade e normalidade dos dados, com posterior an?lise de vari?ncia e de acordo com a signific?ncia procedeu-se o teste Tukey e/ou an?lise de regress?o. Para o controle, as an?lises foram realizadas somente at? o quarto dia do armazenamento, devido ? redu??o da qualidade aparente, como murchamento e altera??es de cor das folhas, enquanto para os ma?os acondicionados nas embalagens houve redu??o da qualidade aparente e sintomas de senesc?ncia ao oitavo dia do armazenamento. As folhas apresentaram elevado teor de acidez total titul?vel e de carotenoides, sendo o ?cido predominante o m?lico e o carotenoide majorit?rio, o ?-caroteno. Concluiu-se que a vinagreira se adapta bem as condi??es clim?ticas de Serop?dica-RJ, mostrando-se fonte de compostos com atividade antioxidante. Em rela??o ao armazenamento refrigerado, a utiliza??o de embalagens pl?sticas de polipropileno proporcionou maior vida ?til potencial para a hortali?a, pois nestas condi??es os ma?os poderiam ser comercializados por at? sete dias ap?s a colheita, sem preju?zo da qualidade, enquanto os ma?os do controle a vida ?til potencial foi inferior a quatro dias.
