This paper research the biography of the cartoonist, architect, writer and journalist Claudius Ceccon, seeking to present their diverse artistic and intellectual production, highlighting this research analysis of their production charges. One of his early educational interventions was their participation in the Institute of Cultural Action (IDAC), at Geneva, Switzerland - a space for discussions of projects focused on popular education in the countries of Latin America, Europe and Africa Continent.IDAC today has its extension in Rio de Janeiro with the Center for Creation and Image Popular (CECIP), which develops projects related to intellectual emancipation and citizenship. From the context of IDAC, explains to about the period of the civil-military dictatorship (1964-1985), and the role of Claudius Ceccon, in Brazil and in the countries in which he lived during his exile. Noteworthy the time frame (1964-1988), interconnected biography of Claudius and civil-military dictatorship, one political and economic process, in which the country found itself susceptible to radical changes. Therefore, the trajectory of Claudius is striking the context of dictatorship, being one of the consequences the exile, his contribution to the creation of the Pasquim, a newspaper circulation and reference that challenged prevailing paradigms of morality and politics, as well as the IDAC and CECIP are references binding to the biography of Claudius. By highlighting Claudius Ceccon as intellectual, we list the importance of genre charge text in its production, because on searching new means of transmitting knowledge, it becomes necessary to consider diverse ways to address certain issues. Regarding the charges of Claudius highlight his criticism of social life, which challenge values and "established truths". Later this considerations we search in this study to check the following point: which is the paper of Claudio Ceccon illustrations in front of the social, political and educational context to each approaching moment, during his acting at IDAC, Pasquin and in his other publishing articles? / A finalidade desse estudo consiste em apresentar a figura de um brasileiro que esteve lado a lado com Paulo Freire no exílio, discutindo questões sociais e que, ainda, trabalha em prol de uma educação consciente, política e cidadã. O presente trabalho pesquisa a biografia do caricaturista, arquiteto, escritor e jornalista Claudius Ceccon, buscando apresentar sua diversa produção artística e intelectual, destacando nesta pesquisa a análise de sua produção de charges. Uma de suas primeiras intervenções educacionais foi sua participação no Instituto da Ação Cultural (IDAC), em Genebra, Suíça - um espaço destinado a discussões de projetos voltados à educação popular dos países da América Latina, Europa e do continente africano. O IDAC tem hoje sua extensão no Rio de Janeiro com o Centro de Criação e Imagem Popular (CECIP), que desenvolve projetos voltados à emancipação intelectual e à cidadania. A partir dessas considerações, buscamos neste estudo verificar o seguinte problema: Qual é o papel das ilustrações de autoria de Claudius Ceccon para o contexto social, político e educacional em cada momento abordado, durante sua atuação no IDAC, no Pasquim e em suas outras publicações?

Partimos dos grupos: Associação dos Pintores com a Boca e com os Pés, Artes Táteis, Grupo de dança sobre rodas Corpo em Movimento, Associação de Balé e Artes para Cegos Fernanda Bianchini, Companhia de Arte Intrusa, Companhia Mix Menestréis, Ceguinhas de Campina Grande e Surdodum, para realizar tal tarefa. Levamos em consideração os olhares que o mundo ocidental e o Brasil tiveram sob a pessoa com deficiência, a própria concepção dos integrantes com deficiência dos grupos estudados como pessoas deficientes e artistas, a produção que desenvolvem estes conjuntos. Considerando a relação dos grupos com a mídia e o Estado, discutiu-se a respeito do capital cultural e as relações com a Família e a Escola no âmbito artístico-cultural de seus integrantes com deficiência e líderes, para estabelecermos as posições sociais de cada um e a divisão simbólica destas posições. / Abstract: The aim of this study was to investigate the interaction of artists with disabilities in the subfield of social inclusion through art, as well as within the art field itself. The groups that were studied included the Associação dos Pintores com a Boca e com os Pés, Artes Táteis, Grupo de dança sobre rodas Corpo em Movimento, Associação de Balé e Artes para Cegos Fernanda Bianchini, Companhia de Arte Intrusa, Companhia Mix Menestréis, Ceguinhas de Campina Grande and Surdodum. To discuss the functioning of these groups, we considered how people with disability have been viewed in the Western world and in Brazil. We also discussed the conceptions of the participants with disabilities of the groups being studied as persons with disabilities and as artists, as we looked at the various groups' productions. Considering the groups' relations with the media and with the State, we discussed issues of cultural capital and the relations of the participants with disability and the group leaders to Family and School within the artistic-cultural milieu, so as to understand the natures of symbolic division of these social positions. / Mestrado / Mestre em Artes

Its result is presented in the first part of the work and reveals the fictional and artistic self refered approach the author gave to the process as a narration of the research's paths, which are shown in the second part of the work. In a dialogue between times and spaces, it was necessary to build up environments for that artistic production. They can be hypermedia spaces (virtual space mainly on internet, such as blogs and social nets) as well as regular spaces (real environment such as the one selected, which is a hotel room) here named as the artist cabin. The artist family album is considered the starting point for a gathering and selection of the artist s father pictures, together with some personal objects of his. Those objects make up the data that will be related to other artist images produced in different times and spaces aiming at a new fictional and self-referenced creation. This way the artistic creation is developed building up new materials making use of specific elements of visual languages presented in the compositions through similar and contrastive approaches. From this action it can be identified the passage experience as much as the existence. In this study, both the artist and her father s existences are revealed in a expressive-reflected dimension embodied in an interdisciplinary doctoral these as a contemporary artistic production. / A tese aqui desenvolvida apresenta a instalação/ocupação PRESENTEAUSENTE, registrada por meio de um ensaio fotográfico realizado pela artista e que ocupa a Parte 1, e ainda, revela o modo de produção artística de criação ficcional e autorreferente apresentado na Parte 2, como um texto de revelação que evidencia os caminhos da pesquisa. Com a intenção de inserir tal produção artística na contemporaneidade, numa abordagem que reconhece a memória, a saudade, a vida do(a) artista e sua intimidade como temáticas frequentes da atualidade, assim como a apropriação por citacionismo, de imagens referenciais de artistas selecionados, desenvolve os argumentos produzindo novas imagens. Num diálogo tensional entre tempos e espacialidades, fez-se necessário constituir os ambientes para essa produção artística. Sejam eles espaços hipermidiáticos (ambiente virtual, principalmente na internet, em blogs e redes sociais) ou espaços de contenção (ambiente real, como é o caso de quarto do hotel, aqui selecionado), chamado de cabine do artista. O álbum de família da artista passa a ser o ponto de partida. Reunir e selecionar as fotografias do pai da artista, assim como alguns objetos pessoais dele constituindo o painel autorreferente e relacionar tais imagens com as do painel de referências, composto por imagens produzidas em diferentes tempos e lugares por artistas diversos, tendo por objetivo uma nova criação ficcional e autorreferente, aproximando-as por semelhança ou contraste, fazendo uso de determinados elementos da linguagem visual presentes nas composições, elegendo novas materialidades, desencadeia-se o percurso de criação artística. Desta ação identifica-se a experiência de passagem, assim como a existência. No caso, a existência da artista e do seu pai, revelada em dimensão expressivo-reflexiva em forma de tese doutoral vocacionalmente interdisciplinar, nessa produção artística contemporânea.
