The contain of the thesis named Application of the geographical and historical curiosities on the 1st grade of the primary school is split into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis is dealing with homeland related characteristics of the relevant region, namely geographical and socioeconomic characteristics, history and other homeland related curiosities including presentation of important local personalities. The practical part of the thesis is consequently following the theoretical part in application of the above mentioned characteristics into educational praxis by two multimedia programs for the inter-active class board. Both programs are Both programs are intended to be used for teaching the students of the 4th class of the primary school and are in compliance with the general educational framework for the primary schools (in Czech: ?rámcový vzdělávací program?). In addition, both programs are based on the educational topic ?Man and its world? and its sections ?Place where we live? and ?People and the time?. There is a manual for both multimedia programs attached to the practical part of the thesis containing advices, tips and ideas on working with the programs. The thesis is furthermore devided into following chapters: introduction, analysis of the relevant literature, methodology, summary, list of relevant literature and annexes. ?

The diploma thesis deals with church bells as specific instruments of liturgy and lived faith on the example of today's Karlovy Vary Region, respectively historical regions Loketsko and Chebsko. Part of the text will focus on individual families who were engaged in casting bells. Emphasis is placed on the social and economic status of these families, their social mobility and the level of production in different epochs. These topics are traced from the early Middle Ages to the period of requisitions of bell funds during the world wars. At the same time, the work will attempt the first comprehensive mapping of historical bell collections in today's Karlovy Vary Region and give an explanation of the use of bells in church practice, taking into account the regional specifics of the culture of Egerland. Thanks to the connection to Germany and the important position of Cheb and Loket, there have been many bell-making manufacturers since the Middle Ages. In the early modern period, together with the development of mining activities in the Slavkov Forest and in the Ore Mountains, the prestige of the bell-making craft increased. This thesis deals with the regional identity of the Bohemian Paradise. The main objective is to analyse identity of the region and regional consciousness of its inhabitants and to determine how they reflex the existence of the tourist region Bohemian Paradise. Thesis is also trying to determine to what extent the county border are barrier to the development of relations and cooperation between people and between institutions in the region. The first part gives an overview of theoretical background of studies of regional identity, identity of region and space polarisation. The second part analyzes the regional identity of the Bohemian Paradise in discussion of literature and other sources and trying to determine whether researchers and institutions think the Bohemian Paradise as peripheral region. The third part deals with analysis and interpretation of results of field research. Methodologically the thesis is based on the construction of mental maps, questionnaire inquiry and interviews.

Data from nineteen stratigraphic sites indicate that the maximum number of flows that contain explosion structures at any one site is six. In the informally named Troy flow, explosion structures are widespread.
