This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the marketing communication in non-profit organization focusing on organizing events and related event marketing. The aim of the analysis is to prepare the groundwork for the creation and implementation of new, unique event that will fill in the accompanying programme of a specific project. The work is divided into three parts: theoretical, analytical and proposal. The analytical part focuses on cultural activities in public spaces with focus on students and the public in order to prepare a unique event. Based on this analysis, the specific event is designed and incorporated into the communication mix of company. The diploma thesis also describes detailed implementation and assesses the whole progress of the event.

The analysis is carried out for the period 2003 to 2012. This work also shows a comparison with competing companies. The work is divided into four parts. The first part states the goal and methods of processing, in the second part is introduced the theoretical background of the work. The third part is devoted to the evaluation of the financial situation of the company and in the last part are presented own suggestions for improvements.

This master’s thesis deals with the evaluation of quality of life in Machová. Needs of inhabitants are detected with the help of a questionnaire survey. Partial target is to analyze the economy of selected municipality. The work is divided into three sections. The first section describes the theory of municipal budget and the issue of internal and external environment of Machová. In the second, analytical part of the thesis is presented selected municipality, an analysis of its financial performance for the past seven years and SLEPTE and SWOT analysis. In the third, the proposal part is a questionnaire survey of citizens' satisfaction. The results of the questionnaire and results of analysis is used to formulate proposals to improve the quality of life in Machová and to improve its economy situation.

In the conclusion, I summarize both the strong and weak points of the company, and also the opportunities and threats. The proposal part is based on the defined summary of the analytical part. The individual actions will aim to assemble an entrepreneurial plan, which will lead to the company expansion.

Last part deals with economical evaluation and benefits of suggested measures.
