Justification: the recognition of the hiatus between the clinical and theoretical instance of the speech and language clinic that, is from one side confronted on the clinical moment by the subject demand toward the speech and language therapist and, on the other side, for the absence of language in the speech and language descriptions concerning the symptom, whenever they are clinical or theoretical, in a suppression movement of the subject, the speech and language therapist and the language, that, consequently, do not allow the reaching of a structure that legitimates the relationship between language symptoms and speech and language clinic. Hypothesis: the explanation of the language symptoms functioning when submitted to the laws of each multistratified structure of writing, language and speech, that are crossed simultaneously by the subject, the Other, the metaphor and the metonymy strata, in which emerge the traces of the arrangements and rearrangements of the course by the symptoms net in the subject language. These arrangements and rearrangements pluristratified would be determinating for the description and explanation of the different language symptoms, as well as for the possibility of establishing a diagnosis that would address the subjective and therapeutic position of the speech and language therapist/Other. Theoretical-methodological aspects: to deepen the symptom notion in the clinics of: speech and language therapy, medical and psychoanalysis based on the language structure; visiting the sanction conceptions in the juridical, semiotics, speech and language therapy and Psychoanalysis areas; circumscription of concepts and implications of the stratification in the psychic, linguistic and anthropological mechanisms, to enhance the approaches and estrangements of the terms, usages and definitions that would be involved in the symptom, the sanction and the stratification. Conclusions: the elaboration of a proposal of a multistratified structural functioning of the language symptoms, that is organized from concepts coming from the psychoanalysis, the language acquisition and of the description and explanation of the language symptoms present in speech and language therapy researches and in data originating from of the Bank of Speech and Writing, with foundation in the structures of the writing, the language and the speech / Objetivo: buscar uma explicação dos diferentes tipos/grades de funcionamento dos sintomas de linguagem alçando dimensões do sujeito/falante, do Outro/fonoaudiólogo nas instâncias clínica e teórica da clínica fonoaudiológica, a partir do conceito de multiestratificação estrutural da linguagem. Justificativa: o reconhecimento do hiato entre a instância clínica e teórica da clínica fonoaudiológica que, de um lado é confrontada no momento clínico pela demanda do sujeito ao fonoaudiólogo e, por outro, pela ausência da linguagem nas descrições fonoaudiológicas acerca do sintoma, quer sejam elas clínicas ou teóricas, em um movimento de supressão do sujeito, do fonoaudiólogo e da linguagem que, consequentemente, não permite o alçamento de uma estrutura que legitime a relação entre os sintomas de linguagem e a clínica fonoaudiológica. Hipótese: a explicação do funcionamento dos sintomas de linguagem como submetido às leis de cada estrutura multiestratificada da escrita, da língua e da fala, atravessadas simultaneamente pelos estratos do sujeito, do Outro e da metáfora e da metonímia, nos quais emergem os traços dos arranjos e rearranjos do percurso pelas redes dos sintomas na linguagem do sujeito. Estes arranjos e rearranjos pluriestratificados seriam determinantes para a descrição e explicação dos diferentes sintomas de linguagem, bem como para a possibilidade de estabelecer um diagnóstico que direcionaria a posição subjetiva e terapêutica do fonoaudiólogo/Outro. Aspectos teórico-metodológicos: aprofundamento da noção de sintoma nas clínicas: fonoaudiológica, médica e psicanalítica com base na estrutura de linguagem; visita às concepções de sanção nas áreas jurídica, semiótica, fonoaudiológica e psicanalítica; circunscrição de conceitos e implicações da estratificação nos mecanismos psíquicos, lingüísticos e antropológicos, para destacar as aproximações e distanciamentos dos termos, empregos e definições que estariam envolvidos no sintoma, na sanção e na estratificação. Conclusões: a elaboração de uma proposta de funcionamento estrutural multiestratificado dos sintomas de linguagem que se organiza a partir de conceitos advindos da psicanálise, da aquisição de linguagem e da descrição e explicação dos sintomas de linguagem presentes em pesquisas fonoaudiológicas e em dados oriundos do Banco de Fala e Escrita, com fundamento nas estruturas da escrita, da língua e da fala
