Rekuperace energie z výfukových plynů v elektromotorem asistovaném turbodmychadle pro hybridní vozidla / Energy Recovery from Exhaust Gases in an Electric-assisted Turbocharger for Hybrid Vehicles

Calábek, Daniel January 2021 (has links)

Kinematický model mechanismu natáčení lopatek turbodmychadla / Kinematic model of blade rotating mechanism of turbocharger

Tomanec, Filip January 2010 (has links)
This master’s thesis deals with kinematics model of blade rotating mechanism of turbocharger, which is called as VNT (“Variable nozzle turbine”). The first section treat of turbochargers generally, why we use them, summary description of construction and parts. In the next section deals with supercharge control, about types of controlling and theirs principles, of their vantages or disadvantages and comparison. Following section is about building kinematics model in software ADAMS. First step is analytics solving of mechanism, because it was necessary for parametric model. After this is described main model building. In the last section is kinematics model used on real turbocharger for checking results.

CFD simulace proudění rozváděcím mechanismem turbodmychadla / CFD Simulation of Turbocharger Regulating Mechanism

Drdla, Adam January 2010 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to provide research into turbocharger regulation, and analyze the force load of vanes in the VNT mechanism of Garrett turbocharger by CFD simulation. In the thesis there is one model with two different mesh densities. It describes the relevance of supercharging vehicle engines and the kinds of supercharging aggregates in the introduction. Then, the thesis is divided into two chapters. The first chapter provides research, describing primary principle of supercharging, turbocharger construction and kinds of air regulation. The practical part of the thesis solves the force load of VNT mechanisms. It was necessary to optimalize the 3D Garrett turbocharger model, create two meshes with different element densities, specify boundary conditions and analyse the results of both cases. A general description of solved problems, comparison of results of force load vanes and propose simplifying and verifying the CFD calculation are included in the conclusion.

Simulace silového zatížení rozváděcího VNT mechanismu turbodmychadla / Turbocharger Regulating VNT Mechanism Load Simulation

Cetkovský, Martin January 2010 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with turbochargers with a focus on the ways of their regulation. The main subject is to design CFD simulation for a turbocharger with VNT mechanism at specific positions. Simulation is based on the turbocharger Garrett by Honeywell, for which measurement was realized. Finally torques acting on the vanes are evaluated from the simulation. The means of results improvement are considered at the end of the thesis.

Citlivostní analýza proudění lopatkami VNT mechanismu / Sensitivity analysis of flow through the vanes of the VNT mechanism

Čech, Martin January 2011 (has links)
This diploma thesis analyzes the effects of various parameters of vane profile and position of VNT mechanism on the size of aerodynamic force which acts on the vanes and on the position of neutral axis of the vane. A CDF simulation was created to do this analysis, and the results of the simulation were evaluated. Thesis also deals with turbochargers in general and with other methods of their regulation.

Výpočtová analýza tuhosti rozváděcího mechanizmu turbodmychadla / Computational Analysis of Turbocharger Distributing Mechanism

Plašil, Petr January 2013 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals about possibilites of using stiffness analysis in Multi body system ADAMS with Flexible bodies and its correlation with finite element method in ANSYS. There is also comparison between Multi body analysis and optical measurement test. In the beginning there is also dealing about turbochargers and ways of their regulation.

Rekuperace energie ze spalin naftového motoru užitkového vozidla / Exhaust Gas Energy Recuperation in a Commercial Vehicle Diesel Engine

Šroba, Roman January 2020 (has links)
The scope of this thesis investigates value added by a turbocharger with an associated motor-generator unit to a diesel engine used by a commercial vehicle. A thermodynamic model of the engine was prepared in GT-SUITE software. Case studies were primary focused on a reduction of specific fuel consumption as well as a nitrogen oxides production using an energy recuperation of exhaust gas. Furthermore, there are described potential benefits of using an electric assistance in order to increase an exhaust gas temperature during a steady state engine operation. Additionally, there is an investigation of potential benefits of a turbocharger assistance in a transition engine mode operating during rapid acceleration of the vehicle. The results of individual analysis will be taken into account for a selection of turbocharger regarding specific engine implementation. The results of simulation suggest that it is possible to lower specific fuel consumption, production of nitrogen oxides, as well as accelerate turbocharger response.

Turbínová skříň turbodmychadla VNT s oddělenými pulsy ve výfukovém potrubí / Turbine Housing of Turbocharger VNT with Separated Pulses in Exhaust Manifold

Polášek, Jan January 2017 (has links)
This master thesis deals with the design of the turbine housing of turbocharger VNT for supplying separated pressure pulses from the exhaust manifold. Subsequently, the work includes strength analysis of the designed turbine housing. The aim of the thesis is to create components for the supply of separate pressure pulses as close as possible to the turbine. Furthermore, the modification of the existing turbine housing and the assessment of the functionality of the VNT mechanism after this modification and strength analysis. The final aim of this thesis is the creation of 2D and 3D technical documentation of newly designed and modified parts.

Pazour, Martin January 2013 (has links)
The subject of the diploma thesis is a description of movement of a roller which is a part of turbocharger. The diploma thesis is created in cooperation of the research department of Honeywell in Brno. The thesis consists of review concerning operating of turbochargers and possibilities of solving contact problems. Then static and dynamic conditions in contact are treated in the following part. Contact pressures are generated using numerical simulation in Ansys software. In the conclusion sizes and coefficients of friction which are recommended as the most suitable to achieve minimal wear of the components in contact.
