This thesis is an investigation of "Using POMDP-based Reinforcement Learning for Online Optimization of Teaching Strategies in an Intelligent Tutoring System". A challenge in building an intelligent tutoring system (ITS) is to create and maintain an optimal teaching strategy. We cast an ITS as a partially observable Markov decision process (POMDP), and apply a reinforcement learning (RL) algorithm to learn the optimal teaching strategy through interactions between the system and the students. The optimal teaching strategy is chosen correctly and e ciently in tutoring a student, it is also learned and maintained in an online model. We present an RL algorithm based on POMDP for learning optimal teaching strategy, then describe the experiments and analyse the experimental results. （一）研究目的：本論文之研究，旨在為張載「氣論」作一最基礎之整理、詮釋、闡 發，以豁顯張載思想，乃至中國氣學精要，由是而更通向吾人文化心靈通會之時代關 懷與究極關懷也。 （二）文獻：本論文所用文獻，以張載〔正蒙〕為主，而參之以張子其他著作，（上 兩項，本文係以大陸學者重新標校之〔張載集〕為底本）至先秦以至宋明諸子說，與 夫後人之論張載與氣之種種相關論著，亦儘量參考焉。 （三）研究方法：本論文之研究法，蓋兼重文獻之處理，與義理之體察。前者，由名 相之分析歸納與章句之基本詮釋相通結；後者，則以其理論系統、觀點、基本性格之 鑒察而並舉；更則，此前後兩者亦更作深切之交互迴環辯證，而亦相節制、亦相發明 也。 （四）研究內容：本論文全一冊，約八萬字，計分五章十三節。茲略述其各章之內容 如下： 第一章：此分述張載思想之宗趣、緣起，本文之研究範疇、方法，及張載一「氣」本 末、分合諸義，即「緒論」也。 第二章：此緣上章所開，論一氣之「分」（權分），蓋由本至末，依次分揭「神氣、 物」核心之旨，即「張載氣論之元素」也。 第三章：此則更論一氣之「合」（融會），亦由本至末，依次圓觀「神、氣、物」通 合之跡，即「張載氣論之結構」也。 第四章：論其思理之觸發、對應、開展、深入、建立、凝成，皆圓成於一氣之「分合 」，即「張載氣論之統觀」也。 第五章：更論此氣論之精神、地位、價值，即「結論」也。 （五）研究結果：透過以上研究，張載氣論之內容與相關問題，或當能有一基礎而近 於確當之開顯與解決也。
