Pohybová aktivita a její vliv na žáky se specifickými poruchami učení a poruchami chování ve výuce na 1. stupni ZŠ / Physical activity and its influence on pupils with specific learning disabilities and behavioral disorders in teaching at the 1st stage of primary school

Muráriková, Lucie January 2021 (has links)
TITLE Physical activity and its impact on pupils with specific learning disabilities and behavior disabilities in normal education at primary school AUTHOR Lucie Muráriková SUPERVISOR PhDr. Martin Dlouhý, Ph.D. ABSTRACT This work is focusing on the specific learning and behavioral disabilities. The aim is to create several activity plans and exercise plans which could be used to determine the effect of physical activity on the work of students with learning disabilities and ADHD/ADD. My idea is that the physical activity should not only positively affect the overall quality of teaching, but should also serve very well in the reeducation of specific learning disabilities in children with ADHD and ADD. Pupils with specific learning disabilities should, after a certain period of this experiment, be showing significant changes in their results and knowledge. Pupils with the ADHD and ADD should be showing better results and knowledge due to the improving attention and at the same time the physical activity should influence their length of concentration, disturbance during lessons, or tendencies to aggression. I consulted a child psychologist and a special pedagogue during the creation of the plans and activities for reeducation. And during the observations of two groups - experimental and control - I collected...

Fazel, Sina 26 February 2016 (has links)
Cisco forecast claims that by 2020, transport traffic will be 13 times of today's traffic transmission. This incremental traffic demand makes concerns about energy consumption and network scalability as well as increasing the network complexity. In this respect, to adresse the future traffic demand requirement and provide a reliable telecommunication network, precise network planning and engineering are needed. To this aim, we adress the problem of ROADM node design by presenting different architectures, components and subsystems to investigate the Broadcast and Select and Route and Select ROADM node architectures. Colored/colorless, directional/directionless and contentional/contentionless add/drop module configurations are studied. Futhermore, the problem of Intra Node Blocking is investigated by developing a node simulator in a dynamic network traffic platform. In this respect, we propose an offline contention management strategy for an ROADMnode in order to efficiently decrease the Intra Node blocking ration by more than 1.5 order of magnitude. Finally, we focus on network planning by investigating short and medium term network upgrades for metro-core optical network. To this goal, we investigate the possibility of non coherent signal transmission in metro-core segment of hierarchical layered optical network. Quality of transmission for 100 Gbit/s PDM-DQPSK-modulation format is investigated. Then, we propose the implementation of PDM-CS-DQPSK modulation format to transmit 100 Gbit/s signals in ROADM based optical transmission systems

Kny, Lenka January 2021 (has links)
Problems of education of pupils with Attention Deficit Disorder from the view of their teachers Lenka Kny Primary school education is influenced by many factors, such as the composition of the team at school, the inclusion of pupils with special educational needs, the presence of a teaching assistent The diploma thesis focuses on the education of students with Attention Deficit Disorder. Diagnoses of ADHD (Hyperactivity) and ADD are presented mainly in terms of manifestations that affect the course of lessons. The issue of education pupils with Attention Deficit Disorder is approached from the point of view of teachers who have expressed how they perceive work with ADHD and ADD. The factors that influence the teaching of these pupils were also summarized and the teachers named support that could, according to them, make the whole teaching proces more efficient. Four case studies presented specific examples of the education of two pupils with ADHD and two with ADD and associated problems who are often educated with the support of a teaching assistant.Teachers, using the example of these pupils, summarized their findings, which can be applied in a wider range of education of pupils with Attention Deficit Disorder. The presence of selected pupils in teaching has slowed down the pace of education, it...

Potencialização do tratamento antipsicótico convencional da esquizofrenia com administração repetida de nitroprussiato de sódio / Repeated infusions of sodium nitroprusside addon to antipsychotic treatment in patients with schizophrenia

Ushirohira, Juliana Mayumi 25 April 2019 (has links)
As análises estatísticas foram feitas com o programa Statistical Package for the Social Sciences versão 17.0. The knowledge about etiology of schizophrenia remains challenging and conventional treatments with antipsychotic medications that act mainly through the modulation of dopaminergic neurotransmission have proven insufficient, considering the high rates of treatment resistance in this population. Recent studies point to promising results of modulators of the glutamatergic system with action on NMDA receptors such as sodium nitroprusside (SNP), a nitric oxide donor, capable of reducing the positive, negative and cognitive symptoms of the disorder. The aim of the present study was to study the effects of repeated NPS administration on the symptomatology of patients with schizophrenia. A total of 17 schizophrenia patients were enrolled at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School University Hospital, aged 18-45 years took part in a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, experimental design. Each participant received eight intravenous infusions, four of SNP (0.5 ?g/kg/min for 4 hours/session) and four of placebo, with a 15-day interval between sessions. The Positive and Negative Syndromes Scale for Schizophrenia (PANSS), BPRS (Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale), Clinical Global Impression scale - Schizophrenia (CGI-SCH), in addition to the Stroop Color Word Test (SCWT), Nback, and the Verbal Fluency Test (FAS). The Side Effects Assessment Scale (UKU) was used to evaluate side effects. The analysis of the demographic and clinical data of the sample was performed through descriptive statistics. Statistical analyses were performed with the Statistical Package for Social Sciences. To evaluate the effect of SNP on BPRS, PANSS, SCWT, N-back and FAS scores, the data were subjected to repeated measures analysis of variance for crossover studies. Independent analyses for SNP and placebo sessions were performed when there were statistically significant differences between the conditions, followed by Student\'s t-test, which was also used for paired evaluations between data from the beginning and end of the sessions. For the analysis of CGI-SCH data, the Friedman test was used. The level of significance was set at p <0.05. The sample that completed the study consisted of 14 individuals with chronic, refractory or superrefractory schizophrenia, with a good level of education and mean age of 32.94 years . Almost all patients were in treatment with clozapine. A total of 121 infusions were performed. A statistically significant decrease was observed in the initial BPRS, PANSS positive and negative subscales, and CGI-SCH scores, which persisted on days 15, 30 and 60 after the end of the experimental sessions. In the cognitive assessments, there was a significant difference between the sessions in SCWT scores and no difference in respect to the FAS and N-back. The results confirmed earlier findings that SNP, an NO donor, can provide significant clinical improvement in the positive and negative symptoms of schizophrenia, as well as partial improvement in cognitive symptoms. In addition, the repeated administration trial suggests that the drug is safe, has no significant side effects in most cases and leads to sustained improvement for up to 60 days in the symptoms of schizophrenia

Aplikace data miningu v marketingu / Data Mining Aplications in Marketing

Ďurkovský, Jaroslav January 2009 (has links)
In my work I deal with the issue of data mining and its use in the commercial sphere. Specifically, I focused on marketing and sales forecast. The aim of my work was first to assemble knowledge from data mining and then use it to create sales forecasts using data mining add-on for Excel. In the first part I gather the theoretical information about data mining. I focused on definition, the methodology, algorithms and of course on the most frequent usage. The second part consists of the practical application of acquired knowledge. I focus on making the sales forecast of HERO CZECH company. I used data mining add-on for Microsoft Excel 2007. Results are compared with real forecasts prepared by the Key Account Manager. Results of my work proved that forecasts from data mining add-on for Excel were not more accurately than the existing ones from Key Account Manager. Nevertheless, I believe that the use of data mining methods have found use in preparing the forecast, at least as a means of support.

Crosstalk and signal integrity in ring resonator based optical add/drop multiplexers for wavelength-division-multiplexing networks

Mansoor, Riyadh January 2015 (has links)
With 400 Gbps Ethernet being developed at the time of writing this thesis, all-optical networks are a solution to the increased bandwidth requirements of data communication allowing architectures to become increasingly integrated. High density integration of optical components leads to potential ‘Optical/Photonic’ electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and signal integrity (SI) issues due to the close proximity of optical components and waveguides. Optical EMC issues are due to backscatter, crosstalk, stray light, and substrate modes. This thesis has focused on the crosstalk in Optical Add/Drop Multiplexers (OADMs) as an EMC problem. The main research question is: “How can signal integrity be improved and crosstalk effects mitigated in small-sized OADMs in order to enhance the optical EMC in all-optical networks and contribute to the increase in integration scalability?” To answer this question, increasing the crosstalk suppression bandwidth rather than maximizing the crosstalk suppression ratio is proposed in ring resonator based OADMs. Ring resonators have a small ‘real estate’ requirement and are, therefore, potentially useful for large scale integrated optical systems. A number of approaches such as over-coupled rings, vertically-coupled rings and rings with random and periodic roughness are adopted to effectively reduce the crosstalk between 10 Gbps modulated channels in OADMs. An electromagnetic simulation-driven optimization technique is proposed and used to optimize filter performance of vertically coupled single ring OADMs. A novel approach to analyse and exploit semi-periodic sidewall roughness in silicon waveguides is proposed. Grating-assisted ring resonator design is presented and optimized to increase the crosstalk suppression bandwidth.

The expectations and the participation of the parents in the development and schooling of the chidren diagnosed with the Attention Deficit Disorder/Hyperactivity - ADD/H

Marilete Geralda da Silva 20 August 2007 (has links)
The present study aimed to understand the relations between the expectations and the forms of participation of the parents in the development and the schooling of the children diagnosed with the Attention Deficit Disorder/ Hyperactivity - ADD/H based on the fact that parents are privileged partners in the education of the children. So for such objective to be reached, a study of four cases of children diagnosed with this disorder (three boys and a girl) and its respective parents was done in the age-group from seven to ten years old when the beginning of the study during the first semester of 2005. For the research of the data collection, guided interviews and participant observations were carried out. The interviews had been carried through with the parents, the children, the professors and pedagogical coordinator of the schools where these children studied at the beginning and in the end of the period of the terms during the semester of each institute. The participant observations happened in the contexts of the house and the school of each child and also in other environments (the sports court, the private teacherÂs house, in the course of Mathematics, in the Resource Center, in the presentations of bumba-meu-boi and in the street). The collected data had been organized and categorized from the technique of the content analysis. To the written registers of the participant observations, gathered data of the photographic and phonographic registers were added. These registers were transformed into descriptive texts of the interactions between the citizens of the research. The gathered and organized data were mainly analyzed and interpreted from the psychoanalytical perspective and authors who argue the participation of the parents at school and also the process of pertaining to school inclusion of children with educative special necessities. Taking into consideration the limits of the methodology of this case study, some conclusive inferences related to the applied work were pointed out. They are as follows: the parents have expectations concerning to the development, the schooling and the professionalization of the children, such as the other parents, but they hope the children develop principally good attitudes; the expectations nor always were positive and evidenced to be influenced by the context of the difficulties and easinesses of the children. The participation of the parents has mainly characterized for the search of some professionals to help them in the accompaniment of the children; for the guilt they have concerning to the difficulties of the child; for the monitoring, for the attachment and devotion of the mothers and for the apart participation of the father; and the difficulty in understanding the behavior of the child because of the effects of the medicine regarding the symptoms of the ADD/H. The school attendance is pointed out by the parents as the main factor that helps and makes it difficult the participation in the development and the schooling of the children. The relation between expectations and participation showed: that there is no linearity between them; that not always the participation form is favorable to the reach of the expectations; that expectations and forms of participation point the place that the children occupy in the desire of their parents; that the feelings of the parents related to the children are ambivalent; that a high investment in the participation and the no return of what is waited can generate negative expectations and that not always all participation of the parents is synonymous of help for the child, the school and the proper family. The children perceive that the parents yearn they learn good attitudes and change their behavior; they behave themselves (verbally) in a passive and childish way ahead of the aids that receive; they show good feelings concerning to the classmates and teachers; they also show motivation and independent behavior to carry out their activities at some moments of the study, but they also demonstrate to mobilize some people of the family with their tasks; they have consciousness of the symptoms of the ADD/H that are attributed and show some mistrust of being discriminated for that. Expectations and forms of participation also evidence that the symbolic statute of this disturb is being a great fact, so that the course of the development of these children has already been traced, and it prevents them to make enigmas to their parents. The study also revealed that the attendance excused to the children with ADD/H and their parents at school was not a reflection of inclusion.
