The master thesis addresses the alteration of Roma discourse and changes of relational patterns between Roma and the wider society during the 1930s and 1940s (more precisely 1927-1950). It focuses on the features attributed to the notion of "a Gypsy" by majority group members. Subsequently, it also attempts to reconstruct, using various levels of discursive practice, the position of Roma in the Slovak society. The main emphasis was laid on the wartime period, which was framed by the interwar and postwar context. In close connection with this anchoring, it tries to trace possible roots of wartime discursive and physical violence. It inquires various continuities and discontinuities of particular policies observing the individuals fulfilling these features attributed to the notion of a "Gypsy" or "an antisocial person" and their limits of agency. Apart from that it scrutinizes different means of categorization and their influence on attitude towards Roma.

The thesis explores the variety of dialogue in the work of American poetess Louise Glück (*1943). It also points out three options for crossing over the aesthetics of absence. The analysis concerns mainly poems included in the collection The Wild Iris (1992), but it also takes in consideration Gluck's other poetical books such as Averno (2006) and Meadowlands (1996). After naming the nodes which make the contact in the collections, the thesis surpasses the field of literature for creating the dialogue with the aesthetics of absence according to German composer Heiner Goebbels (*1952), with the negative theology of French philosopher Simone Weil (1909-1943) and with the absence of the other in the paintings of Vilhelm Hammershøi (1864-1916). This interdisciplinary dialog seeks to describes one of the major tendencies of Gluck's poetry, which is the ghostly possibility of encountering with otherness

Esta, articulada com uma metodologia rigorosa na investigação empírica, confere abrangência e qualidade ao discurso teológico que se constrói como missão na Igreja. O primeiro capítulo expõe um panorama crítico sobre as teorias das migrações e brevemente apresenta as principais teologias da mobilidade humana. O segundo capítulo expõe os resultados da pesquisa de campo, feita com migrantes internacionais, utilizando a metodologia da Grounded Theory. O estudo investiga a incidência da experiência migratória na dimensão religiosa e espiritual dos sujeitos que vivem em situação de mobilidade humana, a partir da perspectiva dos mesmos. Encerra o estudo um capítulo de debate com a teologia contemporânea sobre os resultados da pesquisa de campo, no quadro da eclesiologia de comunhão, com foco na intercultura, na alteridade e no pluralismo e incluindo reflexões pastorais. / [it] L ecclesiologia di comunione è capace di offrire chiavi interpretative per le nuove realtà e i nuovi soggetti, che irrompono come alterità che interpellano la Chiesa, nei contesti locali. Essa, articolata con una metodologia rigorosa nella ricerca empirica, garantisce ampiezza e qualità al discorso teologico che se costruisce come missione, nella Chiesa. Un panorama critico sulle teorie delle migrazioni introduce la tesi, includendo breve presentazione delle principali teologie delle migrazioni. Il secondo capitolo espone i risultati della ricerca di campo, realizzata con la metodologia della Grounded Theory tra migranti internazionali, investigando l incidenza dell’esperienza migratoria sulla dimensione religiosa e spirituale dei soggetti che vivono in situazione di mobilità umana, a partire dalla prospettiva degli stessi. Conclude lo studio un capitolo di dibattito con la teologia contemporanea sui risultati della ricerca di campo, nel quadro dell ecclesiologia di comunione, con il foco nell intercultura, nell alterità e nel pluralismo e includendo riflessioni pastorali.
