A Dissertação também, investiga o que estava por trás do interesse pelo Acre; como, e em que circunstâncias foram realizados os acordos e quais os compromissos assumidos e as conseqüências que decorreram deste tratado. Esta dissertação visa, portanto, analisar o processo de negociação diplomática com base em uma política das relações internacionais à qual será desenvolvida sob a ótica do direito dos Tratados e do paradigma do realismo político considerado como um dos principais aportes teóricos das relações internacionais em que focaliza o aspecto da conquista e manutenção do poder, consubstanciado no pensamento de Maquiavel e Morgenthau considerados como exponenciais da doutrina realista. A presente tese de doutorado \"Invenções do Acre -de território a estado - um olhar social. . .\" tem como objetivo central caracterizar o processo histórico de invenção do Acre em quatro momentos decisivos, a saber: o Acre estrangeiro, o Acre brasileiro, o Acre emancipado e o Acre viável. Como parte do objetivo explicitado destacam-se, também, questões relativas aos seguintes aspectos: a) o processo de anexação do Acre ao território nacional; b) a luta pela emancipação política do Acre; c) a participação das mulheres na luta emancipacionista acreana; d) a memória dos militantes políticos acerca do Acre-Estado; e e) as novas representações do Acre. Acrescentamos, ainda, que para a elaboração do presente trabalho utilizamos como fontes os depoimentos de seringueiros/seringueiras, das mulheres integrantes da \"Legião Acreana\" e dos militantes políticos do Acre, artigos dos jornais \"O Acre\" e \"O Estado\", livros, relatórios de prefeitos e governos do Acre, fotografias, coletâneas de documentos oficiais acerca da anexação do Acre ao Brasil, bem como alusivos à tramitação do processo de elevação do Acre a Estado, entre outros. A meta perseguida foi descrever as invenções do Acre, a partir de um \"olhar\" social, destacando sujeitos sociais não contemplados pela história oficial, tendo como horizonte demonstrar o custo social das referidas invenções para os segmentos subalternos. / The purpose of this doctoring thesis \"Inventions of Acre - from territory to State - a social looking\", has the central objective to characterize the historic process of invention of Acre in four decisive moments, to know: The foreigner Acre, The brazilian Acre, the Emancipated Acre and the Viable Acre. As part of the explicitated objective detach, also, questions relating to the following aspects: a) The process of anexation of Acre to the nacional territory; b) The fighting for politic emancipation of Acre; c) The participation of the Acreana women in the emancipationist fighting; d) The memory of the militant politicians about Acre-State; and e) The new representation of Acre. We add yet, that for the elaboration of the present work we utilized as font the reportings of the rubbertappers, of the Legião Acreana women and the militant politicians of Acre,and articles from Acre and State journals,books,reportings from mayors and governs of Acre, photos, collectanea of official documents about the anexation of Acre to Brazil, as well as allusive to the transmition of the elevation process of Acre to state ,among others. The persecuted aim was to describe the inventions of Acre, from a social looking, detaching social subjects not comtemplated by the official history, taking as horizon to demonstrate the social cost of the reffering inventions for the subaltern classes.

No. of bitstreams: 1 arquivototal.pdf: 1245982 bytes, checksum: e9ad5b11c184be69b5a29c5a09e7f13c (MD5) Previous issue date: 2014-08-29 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / This master's research, linked to the Regional History and concentrated in History and Historical culture, intends to analyse the composition, operation and distribution of military bodies settled in the captaincy of Paraíba in the period from 1755 to 1799, at which time this was subordinated, military and administratively, to the captaincy of Pernambuco, giving a particular focus to the government of Jerônimo José de Melo e Castro (1764-1797) and to the military reforms made by Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo, Count of Oeiras, future Marquess of Pombal and the present main secretary of the king José I (1755/6-1777). Moreover, we aim to peer the involvement of members of these bodies, notably those from the top of military corps, in the plots of power that engendered this colonial society and, at the same time, evaluate how the loss of political and administrative autonomy interfered in the maintenance of the troops and governing capability of captains mores of the captaincy of Paraíba. For this purpose, we adopted as a research referencial, as well as the concerning bibliography, with emphasis on the perspective of "New Political History" and the resulting notion of "Political Culture", the documentation of the Overseas Historical Archive. / Essa pesquisa de mestrado, vinculada à linha de Pesquisa de História Regional, com área de concentração em História e Cultura História, procura analisar a composição, atuação e distribuição dos corpos militares assentados na capitania da Paraíba no período de 1755 a 1799, época em que esta esteve subordinada, militar e administrativamente, à capitania de Pernambuco, dando especial destaque ao governo de Jerônimo José de Melo e Castro (1764-1797) e às reformas militares empreendidas por Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo, o Conde de Oeiras, futuro Marquês de Pombal, então principal secretário do rei D. José I (1750-1777). Outrossim, objetiva-se perscrutar o envolvimento de membros destes corpos, notadamente, daqueles provenientes do alto oficialato, nas tramas de poder que se engendraram nesta sociedade colonial e, na mesma medida, dimensionar de que maneira a perda da autonomia político-administrativa interferiu na manutenção das tropas e na capacidade governativa dos capitães-mores da capitania da Paraíba. Para tanto, adotamos como material referencial de investigação, além da bibliografia atinente, com ênfase na perspectiva da Nova História Política e na decorrente noção de Cultura Política , a documentação do Arquivo Histórico Ultramarino.
