Tato diplomová práce popisuje vznik a formování ekvity v systému anglického práva, její vzájemné postavení vůči common law, současné použití ekvity a některé její vývojové trendy. Teoretická část této práce je doplněna konkrétními precedenty.

This thesis is concerned with the issues of unconditional imprisonment with the focus on early release of prisoners. A comparison of legal framework in the Czech Republic and the Great Britain is provided. The first chapter deals with the meaning and objectives of punishment. It shows a history of legal theories in the world and the Czech Republic as well. The following chapter provides an explanation of these legal theories in the Czech legislature as basic sentencing principles. Moving further into the detail it provides a legal framework of unconditional imprisonment in the Czech Republic. The third chapter gives a brief look at the history of legal framework of imprisonment on the international, European and national level. The thesis gives a thorough examination of the early release in the Czech law in its first main part. It evaluates its advantages, disadvantages and implications. The same process is made in the second main part of the thesis concerning the early release in Common law using the doctrine of judicial precedent. Following that evaluation a comparison of particular legal institutes of the early release is provided. Recommendations for improvement of the Czech legal framework are mentioned in the last part of the thesis. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

This thesis includes the complete process of my visual interpretation of John Webster?s Jacobean play named The Duchess of Malfi for DAMU?s International Master Degree final task. It includes a political and social account of the 16th century, the development of my idea, which consist of inspirations storyboard and the psychological meaning of my use of a minimalist stage and ending with a conclusion of the progression of my idea and my personal development at DAMU.

Focus of this master thesis is to summarize and compare the legislation of shares in Czech Republic and England. The systems are compared from a general point of view at the beginning of the work.

The author's aim is to describe the history of the Congregation of Jesus, also known as 'English Ladies' (Virgins), in Czechoslovakia, especially on the territory of today's Czech Republic. Emphasis will be placed on the work and life of the congregation in the 20th century. Part of the work will be personal memories of selected sisters reflecting the so-called real socialism.

The thesis talks about psychological aspects of English phrases acronym usage among adolescent students of primary and secondary schools. It looks at which acronyms adolescents use, how they understand, use and perceive them and finally what are the specifics of vulgar acronym use. The theoretical part introduces the term acronym and sets it into a broader context of language and specifically e-language. It further talks about adolescence and specifics of adolescent communication. As acronyms that adolescents use the most come from electronic communication, it is also given a fair amount of attention. The empiric part offers research results of a survey consisting of two questionnaires. The results show that due to electronic communication adolescents abbreviate language intensively. The most popular way of abbreviating are acronyms. They use only limited number of selected acronyms though. Adolescents use acronyms exclusively among themselves. They expect rejection from adults. Even though almost all of them use acronyms, not all perceive them positively. Vulgar acronyms are used often and are not perceived as as strong as their unabbreviated versions. The diploma thesis focuses on business plan for establishing an English private kindergarten. The first part of the thesis is theoretical, it defines key terms and describes basic and central characteristics of the bussines plan. The sekond part is about analysis of the current market situation. The aim of this business plan is help the company to enter the market successfully.

The diploma thesis deals with English loanwords that were integrated into French during the past 5 years and became a part of metalinguistic corpus. There are two aims, on one hand, we will analyze English loanwords that entered general language dictionary in the past 5 years. On the other hand, using sociolinguistic research, we will try to find how native speakers perceive given loanwords. The text is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part characterizes loanwords, describes individual types of loanwords, and discusses their general characteristics and codification. The practical part is dedicated to classification of loanwords codified in the given metalinguistic corpus and deals with their perception by native speakers.
