Od lásky k bližnímu k lásce k člověku / From loving a neighbor to loving a man

Kotrba, Michal January 2012 (has links)

Postava apoštola Petra v díle evangelisty Lukáše / The Image of the Apostle Peter in the Work of the Evangelist Luke

Suroviak, Jaroslav January 2016 (has links)
The Image of the Apostle Peter in the Work of the Evangelist Luke. This thesis focuses on examining the character of the leader of the group Twelve in the work of Luke the Evangelist. Introduction outlines the baseline of the entire treatise. The first part of the chapter presents information on the author of two New Testament writings himself, followed by an indication of the circumstances under which the work was shaped. Afterwards the views of experts are presented on the possible sources from which the author composed and edited the final text. This part ends in effort to determine the expected place and time of origin of the whole work. The second part of the first chapter informs on the theology of Luke's writings. This part contains discussion of the authors' intentions and theological accents with regard to the first of the apostles. Due to more complex view there is also mentioned a statistical survey of the character Peter the Apostle in episodes of different New Testament books. The second chapter forms the backbone of the work, and again in two subsections presents information obtained by studying the available literature on all periscopes in Luke's diptych in which the leader of the Apostles emerges as one of the main characters. The first part relates to the stories enrolled in the...

Apoštol Pavel a římské zákony / Apostle Paul and the Roman Law

Říhová, Ladislava January 2012 (has links)
Apoštol Pavel a římské zákony Apostle Paul and the Roman Law bc. Ladislava Říhová The thesis deals with problematics associated with the life and first of all with Apostle PaulVs Roman citizenship. The first chapter contains a brief description of PaulVs life which de facto makes the outline of the whole work. Special attention is being paid to PaulVs origin, his education and last but not least to his conversion to Christianity. Noticed is also PaulVs missionary activity and his end. In the second part of the first chapter there is discussed the view of the Scipture on the Roman citizenship of the Apostle, supplemented with a historical excursus about the history of Roman citizenship as such taking into special consideration the time of Paul's life i.e. the time of the Early Principate. Of course, the possibility of the Apostle's double citizenship is mentioned. From Paul's civil state follow necessarily his rights which form his further destiny. In particular there are concerned Paul's iudicial proceedings which are extensively discussed in the Acts of the Apostles. The second chapter therefore engages in the history and necessities of Roman iudicial proceedings and the appellate right of Roman citizens, which was used by Paul as Roman citizen, too. Whereas the second chapter of the work is...

Náboženská konverze - autentické výpovědi konvertitů / Religious Conversion - Authentic Testimonies of Converts

Mašková, Eva January 2016 (has links)
Religious conversion is an interesting phenomenon that crosses religious beliefs. This phenomenon intersects with many various disciplines, from medicine through the scientific disciplines such as anthropology, sociology, religious studies, psychology and theology. Religious conversion may on the one hand be a demonstration of deep spiritual experience and on the other, the result of strong pressure from others. We can get closer to the truth only through the authentic testimonies of the converts. This is why I have chosen the theme of the religious conversion in the context of "pure experience". We can see differences among conversions to various religions. But it is necessary to say, that I am interested in conversion to Christianity. But the Christianity of two thousand years ago is not the Christianity of today. The Apostle Paul joined a marginal movement at a time when such acceptance was punishable by death. Today, however, converts have joined millions of faithful around the whole world. And this is why religious conversion to Christianity is a lively phenomenon. In my thesis I would like to clarify the question: "What is religious conversion?" Is it a manifestation of the power of God, or is it a clearly human decision? Has the conversion some connection with the social environment, or is...

Apoštol Pavel a filosofie: Studie k politické teologii a její recepci v soudobé filosofii / Apoštol Pavel a filosofie: Studie k politické teologii a její recepci v soudobé filosofii

Hanyš, Milan January 2014 (has links)
The thesis offers an interpretation of Paul's political thought and political theology in the context of current philosophy. The first part presents a methodological basis of the work: the concept of political theology is conceived as a methodological tool that enables us to concentrate on interrelations and mutual effects of religion and politics and to expose implicit or explicit political meanings and implications of religious ideas. The second methodological subchapter deals with Max Weber's approach to "economic ethics of world religions": Weber concentrates on historical crossroads and switches which are a result of random chain of coincidences and factors forming a specific relation to values (Wertbeziehung) which enables us to understand further historical development. Paul's missionary activity and theology is seen as such historical crossroad with far- reaching social consequences. Another part elaborately deals with the most important and influential interpretations of Paul in current non-Christian philosophy: Jacob Taubes, Alain Badiou, Giorgio Agamben. The attention is given not only to presentation of their interpretations but also to utilizations and interpretative gaps, which could be observed in the way these authors read and understand Paul. Though for different reasons, for all of them...
