The teachers at Linköpings University are currently using an emailclient to handle the sharing of information between teachers involved ina course. This is inefficient due to the difficulty of sharing existinginformation with new course memebers, sharing new information with existingcourse members and finding specific information is an issue because of thelack of course separation. Some features, such as handing over a courseto a new leading teacher, are also lacking which makes course managementdifficult. To solve this issue, we have developed a web application whichfocuses on its usability and efficiency to make it easier for coursestaff to share course information. By performing usability and efficiencytests where test subjects used the new application as well as the oldemail system we established that the newly developed application with itsadditional features became an improvement over the old email system.

The diploma thesis deals with the design, creation and implementation of a software application. The application is used to write and record tasks in the described company. The first part of the thesis clarifies theoretical concepts. Subsequently, analyzes of the company are prepared, as well as an analysis of the existing application solution. In the main part of the diploma thesis, the own design of the application solution is elaborated. The proposed solution should lead to more efficient and more transparent completion of tasks.

The subject of this Master’s thesis is focused on an analysis of promotional agency’s requirements concerned with producing a bespoke Information System. The subsequent evaluation of the current situation becomes together with a result of the analysis of requirements a relevant foundation in formulating a scheme for the solution and for the realization of the Information System.

This dissertation examines why planning is perceived as a barrier to the thermal improvement of conservation properties, and considers ways in which this might be addressed. The focus on thermal improvement is derived from a survey of UK scenario literature for energy management up to 2050. A further examination of the literature finds that conservation properties are particularly in need of thermal improvement; and barriers to thermal improvement are identified. A gap in the academic knowledge is found that identifies planning as a perceived barrier, but that there is no investigation of this widely held perception. The research question is therefore developed as, 'Why is English planning perceived as a barrier to the thermal improvement of conservation properties and how can it be addressed?' The dissertation methodology uses a pragmatic mixed-methods approach and research design. The first phase of the research examines 'Why planning is perceived as a barrier', by using surveys and interviews to gather evidence of the experiences and opinions of the multiple users of planning for conservation projects. Through this work, a lack of consistency and reliability in English planning is identified. The data suggests this may be due to the discretionary and fragmented nature of the English planning system which requires local authorities to interpret national policies and develop local plans and guidance. This results in local decision-making, which may not be consistent. Additionally, the research finds a perceived lack of strong national policy and guidance. This perceived lack of consistency and reliability in the application of planning is selected as the basis for validation phase of the dissertation research findings. The validation research seeks to test the perception of a lack of consistency and reliability through a Comparative Information Quality assessment adapted and developed from the discipline of Information Management. Online planning guidance for conservation projects provided by 13 London Councils is compared. The method confirms and highlights areas of inconsistency across the Councils' planning guidance. By identifying a number of areas of inconsistency, and by providing a tool that could help to ensure that policy is delivered consistently at the local level, this component of the research addresses the second part of the research question, 'How can the planning barrier be addressed?'. In conclusion, the dissertation suggests that planning is perceived as a barrier due to a lack of consistency and reliability in the planning process. Inconsistencies are identified and a recommendation is made for how these might be reduced.

The content of the thesis is analysis of information system in Poclain Hydraulics and proposal of changes for increasing the efficiency and security to in-house processes. The result will give well arranged access to data on the intranet, reduced internet usage and staff monitoring system that can increase security and productivity.

Subject of this thesis is to design a web application for overhead calculation, whose purpose is to be a substitution for presently used solution, which is considered to be deprecated. This is being done as a part of strategy of SAP SE corporation for which the solution is designed. This ambition to develop and improve cloud portfolio of already existing applications of the company should lead to betterment of already existing applications of this type and in a long run an improvement of the company’s market position as well as it’s products. The thesis is divided into 3 parts. It begins with a description of theoretical concepts, tools and principles, which are then utilized in further chapters. The following chapter analyzes current state of the affairs, where it is illustrated, what the current solution looks like along with key parts of it. The final, 3rd chapter is dedicated to a description of implemented solution and it also closely describes key differences mentioned in chapter 2.

Changes in the information system, which is realized through a web application, were defined based on the analysis. The application is developed in a way that fits the processes of the company and the requirements of the customers, so that it brings the highest added value. The thesis also describes the methods, procedures and current technologies that are used for the development of the web applications

The main purpose of this report is to analyse and suggest suitable implementation of information system Justimio, which would be used by Justmighty, a company operataning on the Czech digital market, mainly oriented on internet marketing. The master thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is focused on the analyse of the theoretical knowledge and its related possibilities. Due to the usage of professional methods, the current situation can be analysed and the web applications position in the environment of the closest competitors can be recorded. In second chapter, a focus is also given to the company Justmighty, for which the application is made for. A company’s ability to implement this application is checked by using a basic analytical methods, whereas also can be analysed how this application would be helpful, when comes to the competitors and current market. The last part is focused on possible solutions and implementation of information system Justimio.

The diploma thesis focuses on the design, creation and implementation of a desktop application for managing a swimming database of the ASK Blansko swim club. It analyzes the current state of processes in the club and compares them with modern practice. It contains a description of all the functions of the application together with the economic evaluation of the project. It represents a complete solution because of the inefficient and outdated way of keeping the club database. It emphasizes the successful implementation of the application in the club practice.
