Orientador: José Augusto Chaves Guimarães / Banca: Johanna Wilhelmina Smit / Banca: Eduardo Ismael Murguia Marañon / Resumo: Buscando concorrer para a construção de um dispositivo intelectual que possa aperfeiçoar o fazer arquivístico no mundo pós-moderno no qual a informação é cada vez mais otimizada, investiga-se como a noção de Assunto vem sendo abordada na literatura Arquivística, com o objetivo específico de oferecer subsídios para a eventual delimitação do campo teórico-prático da noção de Assunto e, através da revisão da literatura pertinente, mostrar os diferentes contextos, pelos quais a noção de Assunto é agasalhada. Para tanto, procedeu-se inicialmente à revisão da literatura Arquivística, atentando para o percurso delimitado pela tradição clássica, do conceito do documento Arquivístico até o que os estudiosos da Arquivística denominam de fenômeno da Informação. Em uma segunda etapa, realizou-se a revisão da literatura arquivística, a partir da identificação das diferentes abordagens sobre o Assunto em Arquivos. Por fim analisa-se os principais apostes teóricos do evento I soggetti e altri apparati di indicizzazione in archivistica: ipotesi di lavoro, no qual a noção de Assunto encontra, talvez, a maior notoriedade acadêmica. Desse modo, procede-se à análise do referencial teórico oriundo do evento, a partir de duas categorias de análise: conceito e função do Assunto na Arquivística para que se possa, ao final, chegar a uma reflexão sobre a construção conceitual do Assunto em arquivos. / Abstract: Searching to concur for the construction of an intellectual device that can perfect the archival doing in the post modern world which the fierce information is optimized, to investigate itself as the notion of Subject comes being boarded in Archival literature, it aimed to offer subsidies for the eventual delimitation of the theoretician-practical field of the notion of Subject and, through the revision of pertinent literature to show the different contexts, by which the notion of Subject is lodged. For in such a way, initially it was proceeded to the revision of Archival literature, attempting for the passage, delimited for the classic tradition, of the concept of the Archival document until what the scholars of the Archival call of phenomenon of the Information. In one second stage, it was realized fullfilled revision of Archival literature, from the identification of the different boardings on the Subject in Archives. Finally it analyzes the main ones of the archival event I soggetti and altri apparati di indicizzazione in: ipotesi di lavoro, which the notion of Subject finds the biggest academic notoriety. Dentre os inúmeros desafios que a Arquivística tem sido exposta, a estruturação em termos de linguagem especializada é citada por teóricos como sendo de grande relevância. Partindo do pressuposto que a sedimentação de alguns conceitos básicos contribui para avançar em direção ao desenvolvimento da área, buscou se conhecer, de modo comparativo, a concepção de professores e de teóricos da área, a respeito de termos como "arquivo" e "informação arquivística". Os professores selecionados foram àqueles responsáveis pelo ensino de aspectos fundamentais, contemplados em disciplinas oferecidas nas séries iniciais dos cursos de Arquivologia do Brasil. A abordagem utiliza a análise teórica descritiva para a exposição do posicionamento dos teóricos e professores e em que medida existe corelação entre esses dois grupos. Observou-se que o referencial teórico que sustenta o ensino arquivístico no Brasil é caracterizado pelo uso de autores nacionais que disseminam sua produção científica em periódicos. Em relação ao conceito "arquivo" pareceu haver maior desenvoltura por parte dos professores em apresentar uma definição que, quase sempre, está refletida pela literatura nacional. No entanto, "informação arquivística" é um termo que causa certo desconforto na comunidade arquivística, de modo geral / Abstract: The identity of a scientific discipline is linked to the ability to clearly distinguish its object of study, apply its own methods and develop a specialized language so that it is possible to establish relationships at different levels, with other disciplines. Among the many challenges that the Archival Science has been exposed, the act of structuring in terms of specialized language is mentioned by theorists as being of great significance. Assuming that the consolidation of some basic concepts helps to move toward the development of the area, this study aimed to investigate, through a comparison, the conception of professors and theorists in this area about terms such as "archive" and "archival information". The selected professors were those responsible for teaching fundamental aspects taught in the first series of courses on Archival Science in Brazil. The approach uses theoretical-descriptive analysis for exposure of the positioning of theorists and professors, it discusses to what extent there is correlation between these two groups. It was observed that the theoretical referential that supports archival education in Brazil is characterized by the approach of national authors who disseminate their scientific output in journals. The professors' conception on the concepts reveals, at times, the shallowness with which the issue has been handled. Regarding the term "archive", it seemed to be a greater boldness on professors' part to present a definition that is nearly always a reflection of what the national literature professes. However, in relation to "archival information", it is noticed that it is still a term that causes some discomfort in the archival community in general / Doutor

O objetivo que impulsionou o trabalho foi conhecer como ocorre a origem de documentos que permeiam a produção do álbum fotográfico e a situação em que se encontra o arquivo fotográfico da empresa estudada. No intuito de alcançar a meta proposta optou-se pelo desenvolvimento do método de pesquisa estudo de caso mediante a observação das rotinas diárias e entrevistas com aplicação de questionários semi-estruturados aos funcionários do setor e aos chefes de departamentos da empresa. A escolha da empresa deveu-se a abertura da organização aos interesses da pesquisa acadêmica; bem como ao tamanho do acervo documental que contém aproximadamente cem mil álbuns fotográficos, e ao fato de que há pouco mais de três anos, a empresa adotou o sistema digital de captura de imagens adequando seus equipamentos, funcionários, fotógrafos e arquivo a nova realidade. A relevância social do estudo se dá através da proximidade de um vínculo concreto entre o profissional da Ciência da Informação e o pólo fotográfico existente na região de Tupã, abrindo canais promissores de intercâmbio em área pouco explorada. A importância científica se deve a construção de conhecimentos que abordem conteúdos da Ciência da Informação e Arquivologia, incentivando a discussão interdisciplinar sobre a gênese de fundos fotográficos privados. Os resultados da coleta de dados foram sintetizados através de um organograma estrutural da empresa, do fluxograma que descreve a criação do documento que contém as informações relativas ao produto final da empresa, bem como a construção de um organograma funcional que permite compreender as atividades desenvolvidas pelo setor Arquivo de Álbuns Fotográficos / Abstract: The following text presents informations about the need of a study in case of private file of a representative fotographic company of the social events business. There are three reazons for the choice of that company: 1) The opening of the company to academic reaserch interest; 2) the size of the file that nowadays keeps more than 100.000 documents/albums; 3) the fact that almost three years ago, the company adopted the digital system of images capture, and now its adapting its equipments, employees, photographers and the file to new technologies. The social study importance takes place through the proximity of a concrete tie between the professional and Information Science, with graduation in Marilia town and the photographic field in Tupã region, opening promising interchange channels in a not exploited area among companies and professionals. The scientific importance might be evaluated by means of knowledge construction that approaches Information Science and Archivology, encouraging the interdiciplinary discution about the photographic founds administration privates. The results of data collection were synthesized by a structural chart of the company's flow chart that describes the creation of the document containing all information relating to the final product of the company, as well as the construction of a functional organizational structure that allows us to understand the activities developed by sector Archive Albums / Mestre

Smith / Banca: Miriam Paula Manini / Resumo: A gênese e a acumulação do arquivo fotográfico de Sebastião Leme estão localizadas em uma das extremidades dos fluxos internos de informação, concebidos enquanto canais por onde a informação se propaga no circuito das instituições com competência para administrá-la. Portanto, é na extremidade esquerda que está localizada o lugar da criação da informação, do ponto de vista autoral, desvinculado, pois, da dinâmica onde se operam os fluxos internos de informação constitutivos dos espaços institucionais de informação. Logo, a qualificação de espaço se deve à capacidade que eles têm de superação de seus próprios limites de organização, recuperação e acesso da informação, em escala pública. O problema consiste na existência de um arquivo de imagens, restrito apenas ao ciclo pessoal, como referência exclusiva da memória afetiva familiar, indistinto e atado a sua precária condição de suporte informacional, em estado de latência. O que nos leva a formular a hipótese de que o arquivo fotográfico - enquanto gênese e acumulação − requer que a sua passagem se dê do âmbito pessoal para a esfera pública, o que implica o reconhecimento da sua condição de informação que só se efetiva quando for absorvido pelos fluxos de informação. É quando esse arquivo passará a cumprir a sua função existencial e informacional, como representação e valor. Os enquadramentos teóricos e metodológicos da pesquisa, no âmbito da ciência da informação, nos levam a: 1) examinar a imagem fotográfica, no instante da sua gênese, com base na sua representação indiciária, icônica e simbólica, sob o ponto de vista da sua condição de informação visual; 2) considerar a fotografia como um processo de criação individual, que se expressa a partir de uma acumulação que também pode agregar outros tipos de produção, a exemplo do testemunho... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The genesis and the accumulation of Sebastião Leme's photographic archive are located in one of the extremities of the internal flows of information, designed as channels through where the information spreads in the circuit of the institutions with competence to administer it. Therefore, it is in the left extremity that is located the place of the creation of the information, from a copyright point of view, released, then, of the dynamics where the constituent internal flows of information of the institutional spaces of information are operated. Thus, the qualification of space is the ability they have to overcome their own limits of organization, retrieval and access of information, in public scale. The problem consists of the existence of a archive of images, restricted just to the personal cycle, as exclusive reference of the family affectionate memory, indistinct and tied to their precarious condition of informational support, in a state of latency. Which brings us to formulate the hypothesis that the photographic archive - as genesis and accumulation - requires that its passage is from the personal context to the public sphere, which implies the recognition of its condition of information that is only effective when absorbed by the flow of information.It is when this file will fulfill its existential and informational function, as representation and value. The theoretical and methodological frameworks of research, in the context of information science, lead us to: 1) examine the photographic image at the moment of its genesis, based on its index, icon and symbolic representation, from the point of view of its condition of visual information, 2) consider the photography as a process of individual creation, that expressed its starting from an accumulation that can also join other production types, to example of the testimony and of the autobiographical textual narrative... Orientador: Flávia Arlanch Martins de Oliveira / Banca: Odair da Cruz Paiva / Banca: Zélia Lopes da Silva / Resumo: Nossa pesquisa centra-se na análise dos cadernos que contêm recortes de jornais selecionados por Bruno Giovannetti, imigrante italiano que chegou ao Brasil na década de 1910 e fixou-se na região da Alta Sorocabana, onde desenvolveu várias atividades. Nesses cadernos, ele procurou, por meio de artigos e notas escritos por ele, e também por outros autores, publicados em diferentes jornais, registrar sua memória. A linha condutora do conteúdo presente nesses cadernos põe em evidência a construção positiva de sua imagem, principalmente no que se refere aos aspectos de sua vida profissional e intelectual. Assim, os cadernos, ao todo seis, podem ser compreendidos como a constituição de uma memória de si, pelos quais ele buscava dar um significado especial à sua vida, cujo registro consistia em provar a si próprio, bem como ao futuro, que ela merecia ser (re)vista, e, assim, lembrada. / Abstract: This research aims the analysis of the notebooks that contain newspaper clippings selected by Bruno Giovannetti, an Italian immigrant that arrived in Brazil on the decade of 1910 and settled in the Alta Sorocabana region, where he developed many activities. In these notebooks, Giovannetti intended to register his memory, through the articles and notes written by him and by other writers, published on different newspapers. The conductor line of the content present in these notebooks evidences the positive construction of Giovannetti's image, mainly the aspects of his professional and intellectual life. Thus, the notebooks, on the total of six, can be comprehended as a constitution of self memory. Through these notebooks, Giovannetti aimed to give a special meaning to his life, whose register consisted in proving to himself and to the future that it deserved to be seen (or seen again) and, with this, to be remembered. / Mestre
