El proyecto espera revitalizar el borde costero de la ciudad y otorgarle el protagonismo que merece (volver a mirar el mar), restableciendo el nexo entre el barrio portuario y el centro histórico. Así mismo recuperar el terreno del puerto para la ciudad (desprivatización), abriendo un nuevo espacio para la iniciativa pública y privada. Esto permitira mejorar el aspecto de la ciudad, proyectándola nacional e internacionalmente optimizando el funcionamiento urbano, mejorando la calidad de vida de sus habitantes. Se transformara así a la ciudad en la incuestionable puerta de entrada a la Patagonia y la Antártica

Se realizó una investigación conducente a determinar el efecto envejecimiento en el comportamiento de arenas de relave. Se ha elegido un depósito de suelo de residuos mineros, o presa de relave, como adecuado para la investigación del fenómeno debido a que es importante conocer los cambios mecánicos y dinámicos que se producen en el tiempo de modo de predecir sus cambios durante el abandono. El programa de ensayos consiste en un total de 33 triaxiales estáticos y 43 triaxiales cíclicos. Se utilizaron muestras inalteradas extraídas, mediante toma de muestras en bloques de un tranque de relaves en operación, con depositaciones entre 0 y 5 meses, y probetas remoldeadas en laboratorio con el mismo material extraído, las cuales se dejaron envejecer entre 0 y 5 meses. Se presentan los resultados experimentales sobre el efecto envejecimiento en el comportamiento de arenas de relave. Se comparan los resultados de ensayos realizados en probetas reconstituidas mediante el método de apisonado húmedo y envejecido en laboratorio, con muestras inalteradas obtenidas in situ en diferentes tiempos de depositación. Para las probetas preparadas y envejecidas en laboratorio se pudo determinar que con el tiempo existe un aumento importante de la resistencia cíclica. Con el análisis de probetas remoldeadas y muestras inalteradas es posible determinar preliminarmente que el efecto envejecimiento es más rápido en probetas remoldeadas que en muestras inalteradas, para condiciones similares.

<p>The capital of Sweden, Stockholm has in the recent years begun to discuss the option to build a new major arena for sports and events. The vision is a multifunctional arena with a capacity of 55.000 to 60.000 seats. In Sweden today only Gothenburg has got an arena (Ullevi) with that ability. Ullevi is today the centre for sport events and musical events. The prospect for Stockholm is to get a similar opportunity as Gothenburg with the visualised arena. The fact is that Stockholm today loose events in favour towards Gothenburg.</p><p>This geographical study takes its aim to comprehend how an arena makes spatial effects in local, regional and national levels in economic geographical perspectives.</p><p>In a deeper perspective, what kind of effects can the visionary arena in terms of concurrence with other arenas in the vicinities and how the arena effects its locality, its region and the nation.</p><p>The theories that have been implemented in the study are the Central place theory, the localisation and regional development theories and Porters Diamond. In the study recent and older science of sports geography, science of events and city regeneration is treated. There is also a comprehensive background investigation of the city of Gothenburg and Stockholm and their development from industrial cities towards becoming more event based cities.</p><p>The study is mainly based on three interviews. The interviews are made with Stockholm town, The Swedish Football Association and Solna town. It is among these actors that the visionary arena plans has its strongest expressions. Thru the interviews the study show a couple of different themes and results. For example there are competitor like factors in their visions. They are looking to compete both against the western side of Europe thru the Ullevi arena, and with the eastern side of Europe, mainly the Baltic Sea area, with the new arena in Stockholm. An other factor is the vision to strengthen the status of Stockholm as a leading city of events.</p>

La presente investigación considera como antecedente el aumento de los hechos de delincuencia y violencia en que se involucra la participación de jóvenes, sobre todo de menores de edad, lo cual ha sido motivo de creciente preocupación de la ciudadanía, no tanto por las transformaciones que está viviendo la juventud, sino más bien por su participación como agente de inseguridad. En este sentido, esta problemática ha sido tipificada, desde el discurso dominante, como eje de desadaptación y desviación social, representando una fuente de peligro y riesgo para el orden social. Partiendo de la premisa que esta es la información que circula en los medios de comunicación, esta investigación se aproxima al habla de éstos jóvenes, considerándolos como un otro que también tiene algo que decir al respecto. Este estudio aborda, por un lado, la forma en que los jóvenes que han infringido la ley penal construyen su identidad, a través de las experiencias que han tenido con sus entornos cotidianos, como sujetos que cuentan con un sistema de referencia que les permite interpretar y dar sentido a lo que les sucede, dotando de significado el hábitat en el cual se desenvuelven. Por otro lado, también se considerará, las representaciones sociales que construyen de éstos algunos actores de su comunidad, es decir, familia, dirigentes vecinales, comerciantes, Juez, a partir de las informaciones que circulan en el medio y de las experiencias que han tenido con estos jóvenes. Esta investigación se abordó con un enfoque metodológico cualitativo, a través del estudio de caso. Para ello se utilizó la técnica de la entrevista en profundidad, puesto que lo que se busca es introducirse en la esencia de los contenidos entregados por los entrevistados más que establecer relaciones causales.

Partimos, para tanto, nesse percurso, de teóricos como Jacob Stockinger (1978) e David William Foster (2000), dentre outros, cujos textos apontam na direção de uma ars poetica homotextual consciente, sobretudo, a partir da segunda metade do século XX, diferente do pensamento de muitos para os quais se trata tão somente de um leitmotiv e esteja mais para o conteúdo e menos para a forma. A pesquisa, por fim, não deixa de vislumbrar, outrossim, os mecanismos narrativos que estruturam a referida obra do autor holguineiro, dentre eles, destacamos a intertextualidade, isto é, o diálogo com outros textos e autores alheios, a intratextualidade, ou seja, o diálogo constante consigo mesmo e com seus próprios textos bem como, também, por derradeiro, a extratextualidade, isto é, o diálogo constante e as referências, dentro do texto, à cultura e história cubanas e latinoamericanas / In the area of concentration “Literature and Social Life”, under the aspect of the line of search “Poetics of the literary text: culture and representation (PLT)”, intends this work, before, having as a base the posthumous novel El color del verano (1991), by the exilian cuban writer Reinaldo Arenas (1943-1990), to analyze the male homoerotic identity construction. We started, therefore, in this trajectory, of theorists as Jacob Stockinger (1978) and David William Foster (2000), among others, which texts point to the direction of a conscious homotextual ars poetica, specially, from the second half of the twentieth century, against of the thoughts of many people who things this is just a leitmovit and is more to the content than to the form. So, this search discerns indistinctly, besides, the narrative mechanisms which structure this narrated work of the holguinerian author, among them, we detach the intertextuality, that is, the dialogue with other foreign texts and authors, the intratextuality, that is, the constant dialogue with themselves and with their own texts, as well as conclusive, the extratextuality, that is, the constant dialogue and the references, inside the text, to the culture and Cuban and Latin-American history.

Esta tese aborda a ascensão de atores não estatais na Política Ambiental Internacional. De forma mais precisa, a cooperação entre ONGs, comunidades locais e o setor privado em arenas transnacionais, o \"novo modo\" de governança global. O objetivo é mostrar que os atores não estatais têm desempenhado um papel importante na governança da biodiversidade como \"global governors\", uma vez que as Organizações Internacionais têm delegado cada vez mais funções a atores não-estatais. Por meio de estudos de caso envolvendo a Organização do Tratado de Cooperação Amazônica, a União para o Comércio BioÉtico, e a Natura, esta pesquisa contribui teoricamente e empiricamente para a literatura em Relações Internacionais e Ciência Política ao responder a seguinte questão de pesquisa: em que medida as ONGs, o setor privado e as comunidades locais contribuem para o processo de implementação da Convenção sobre Diversidade Biológica (CDB)? / This dissertation addresses the rise of non-state actors in International Environmental Politics. More precisely, it tackles the cooperation among NGOs, local communities and the private sector in transnational arenas, the \"new mode\" of global governance. The aim is to show that non-state actors have played a major role in biodiversity governance as \"global governors\" given that International Organizations have increasingly delegated functional roles to non-state actors. Through case studies involving the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization, the Union for Ethical BioTrade, and Natura, this research study contributes theoretically and empirically to the literature in International Relations and Political Science by answering the following research question: to what extent do NGOs, the private sector and local communities contribute to the implementation process of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD)?

Esta dissertação tem por objeto as narrativas emergentes a partir de um caso de assassinato ocorrido em Ouro Preto/MG em 14 de outubro de 2001, o caso Aline, que teve repercussão nacional ao ser representado com características de mistério e barbárie, tecendo uma teia de relações causais com diferentes elementos drogas, festas estudantis, satanismo e, em especial, jogos de interpretação de papeis (RPGs). A partir da noção de drama social de Victor Turner, analisa-se a ruptura do cotidiano de Ouro Preto com o crime, abrindo fissuras para a emergência de metáforas radicais de sacrifício e crucificação, que energizam a leitura do crime como ritual macabro. Analisam-se a evolução do processo e o julgamento dos acusados, o encontro de narrativas e o desfecho dissonante das expectativas punitivas. Em seguida, acompanha-se a produção de narrativas dominantes e o escalonamento dos conflitos do caso Aline para as arenas narrativas midiáticas, mágico-religiosas e jurídico-políticas. Discutem-se as expectativas de justiça e punição por meio da análise de linchamento moral e da busca por vítimas sacrificais, unindo-as com uma discussão sobre racionalidade penal moderna que permite questionar a aporia formada pela absolvição. Por fim, tecem-se algumas considerações sobre a produção de ordens e desordens no ritual do júri e o que poderia ser uma narrativa justa do caso Aline. / This dissertation analyzes the rising narratives of a murder case occurred in Ouro Preto/MG in October 14, 2001, the Aline case. This case was nationwide known due to the mystery and cruelty with which it was represented, weaving a web of causal relations with several elements drugs, student parties, Satanism and Roleplaying Games (RPGs). Victor Turners notion of social drama is engaged to analyze how the crime creates a breach in Ouro Preto everyday life, opening cracks for the arouse of root metaphors of sacrifice and crucifixion, that energizes the crime reading as a macabre ritual. The evolution of the process and the defendants trial are discussed as a narrative gathering with an unexpected non-punitive outcome. The crystallization of dominant narratives and the escalating conflicts of Aline case are followed to the media, magical-religious and juridical-political arenas. Then the expectations of justice and punishment are discussed, through an analyze of the moral lynching and the search of a escape goat, and also a discussion of the modern penal rationality, that enables questions on the aporia created by the defendants discharge. At last, some considerations on Jury ritual creations of order and disorder and of what could be a just narrative of Aline case.
