Aplikace metody analýzy rizika vedoucí ke zvyšování kvality životního prostředí / Application of Risk Analysis Method Leading to Improvement of Environmental Quality

Pochlopeňová, Monika January 2019 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the application of the risk analysis method for environmental impact assessment of a business entity. In the introduction of the theoretical part, an environmental review is carried out, focusing on the approach of the Slovak Republic, followed by theoretical background on environmental management, and in the end of the first part there is a survey of risk identification methods. The analytical part presents the system of environmental management in the company. After evaluating the current state, the thesis proposes its own proposals as preventive measures, which contribute to more effective management of environmental pollution risk.

No. of bitstreams: 1 MADE JUNIOR MIRANDA.pdf: 2543146 bytes, checksum: c5aad46e5b02cf04a76cd4956106b66b (MD5) Previous issue date: 2008-12-29 / This research was developed in the basin of the river Meia Ponte / stream Anicuns, in the metropolitan region of Goiânia-Go, according to the finding of high rates of pollution with concentration of heavy metals in wealth and the possibility of exposure and contamination of surrounding populations, involvement Central Nervous System and engine performance. The problem is the scientific identification of the main differences of the condition of motor skills and overall drive through the application of the battery of tests engines Rosa Neto (2002), for children from 7 to 8 years who reside near the stream Anicuns, compared with the results of children living in local geographically distant from polluted springs. He had himself as hypothesis that children who reside in the vicinity of stream Anicuns, have a level of motor development lower than the control group. The sample consisted of 80 children students of the School Council Alonso Dias Pinheiro and 49 children of the School Council Frei Demétrio Zaqueta (control group). The classification of socioeconomic level was established by application of a questionnaire with issues closed to parents of children and interviews with teachers. Tables were used for frequency and analysis of variance (ANOVA) to compare the performance engine within and between groups. It was concluded that the sampling of the School Council Alonso Dias Pinheiro (riverside) showed motor deficit on the basis of their age Chronological compared to the Council School Frei Demétrio Zaqueta (control group). The results suggest interference of parents and administrators in the context of public life of the children under study.

Understanding comprehensive environmental decision making with navigational aids for the 1990s and beyond

Takaki, Margaret Alice January 2000 (has links)
The Comprehensive Environmental Decision Making (CEDM) paradigm developed through this research conceptualizes CEDM through a particular way of seeing a commitment to man's relationship with his environment. Previous research has explored CEDK but the idea remains ill-defined. The challenge in this research is to reestablish the guiding ideas of the government-environment-citizens matrix, while at the same time describe a meaning and means of operation suitable for environmental professionals working in industry today, where the man-environment commitment is critical to economic growth and environmental quality. In this research a meaning and means of operation begins with Lynton K. Caldwell's guiding ideas. As an avenue of implementation, government structures established through The National Environmental Policy Act and the Pollution Prevention Act provide policy reinforcement. Accepting policy as a CEDM avenue the requirements of environmental understanding, information and perception are developed through aspects of the environment and sustainable development with rational ecology ultimately providing the guideposts and criteria whereby CEDM may be judged. Citizens are those environmental professionals where an ethic is shaped through systems learning with the Environmental Management System used as a framework to establish the CEDM network of relationships in the workplace. The professional's socially binding value is hypothesized as an obligation not to do harm. With this value orientation, rational ethics and systems thinking provide guidelines that direct the professional in evaluating and optimizing policy and business structures. The CEDM paradigm is illustrated as a social choice mechanism suited to the 1990s and beyond by using case studies to apply policy directions.

Ekonomické, sociální a environmentální aspekty chovu koní v oblasti Českokrumlovska / Economic, social and environmental aspects of horse breeding in the Českokrumlovsko area

PEJCHOVÁ, Lea January 2018 (has links)
The aim of this work was to find out and compare the economic, social and environmental context of horse breeding in the breeding holdings and on agricultural farms in the Český Krumlov region. Both organic and conventional farms have been compared, no matter if horse breeding was their main activity, or just a complementary or a hobby activity. The main criterion of the comparison was the way of housing the horses, distinguishing between three main types of horse breeding: 1. Box individual, or indoor group stabling 2. All-year stay in the pasture, so-called 24/7 system 3. Stay in a box for a part of a 24-hour cycle and stay in the enclosure or pasture for the rest of the cycle. Results were obtained through publicly available sources and a questionnaire survey that involved 12 horse breeders. The conclusion of the thesis is that the basic management (types or strategies) of horse breeding differ: a) in economic aspects the most advantageous management type was the all-year continuous stay of horses in the pastures, b) in social aspects the best type of management from the social relation point of view, was the individual boxing, or group stabling (so-called free stables) with some portion of everyday outside stay of the horses, c) in environmental aspects - the all-year outside stay of the horses was considered to burden the environment the least, its impacts are rather positive in cultural and close to nature landscapes.
