Použití GPRS modulu pro přenos JPG souborů v reálném čase / Application of GPRS module for real-time transmission of JPG files

Rusinský, Jan January 2010 (has links)
This document describes a design procedure of interface between VGA camera and GSM/GPRS modem for displaying JPEG pictures captured by camera on website. Interface is realized by eight-bit micricontroller ATMEL with application written in C language. For picture transfer to server a TCP/IP stack is implemented into modem. The document is divided into two main parts. The first part describes architecture of the system, used components (camera, modem, microcontroller) and electronic circuit design. The second part of the document is focused on the software for the system. Firstly operating system of modem is desribed, OpenAT development environment for modem application design and WIPsoft library, which is used to implement TCP/IP stack. Next is described application for microcontroller which controlls camera and modem. Last part of this document describes server application and web interface.

ACCESSIBLE MOBILE COMMUNICATION FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

Nguyen, Toan Hieu, toan.nguyen@novita.org.au January 2006 (has links)
People with disabilities are both functionally and socially disadvantaged and the lack of access to mobile communication technology adds to their disadvantage. Changes and benefits we have seen in our society with the advent of mobile phones and associated electronic communication for people without disabilities have not migrated to people with disabilities. The comprehensive communication capability of a mobile phone can enable users anywhere to independently access a very wide range of communication, information and control systems and services. This research has addressed the key accessibility issues faced by people with disabilities who need or want to use the mobile phone for voice and data communication. The research revealed that: there exist accessible features on mobile phones that can better assist people with disabilities in using the phone; through education and training, people with disabilities can develop or be provided with effective and efficient ways to access and use the phone; current, off-the-shelf telecommunications equipment such as car kits, speakerphone, voice recognition technology, wireless connectivity capability on mobile phones can enable people with disabilities, even severe physical disabilities, to access the telecommunications network and services; and with a suitable interfacing system in place, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) device users can operate the phone for voice and data communication, which previously had not been possible. Trials established that people with a range of physical disabilities can use and should have equal access to telecommunications equipment and services. This research has shown that, with the right policies, processes and support through equipment matching, education, training and delivery, current off-the-shelf solutions can help people with disabilities to effectively communicate with other members of our society and to access the same range of information systems and services enjoyed by able-bodied members of the community. An interfacing system has been developed to provide users of AAC technology with the ability to use a mobile phone for voice calls and text messaging (SMS). It is confidently predicted that other features and services on the phone such as speakerphone, digital camera and FM radio, email and internet-based applications, and local or remote appliances and devices, can be controlled via the AAC device. Outcomes and findings have confirmed the main hypothesis of the thesis that, despite very limited mobility, speed, accuracy and vocal communication ability, users will be able to successfully operate the mobile phone itself, and use it for various modes of bidirectional communication with systems to which they choose to connect. The overall outcomes of the research have established that the benefits and usefulness of the mobile phone are so significant that they should become a necessity for people with a disability. It has been successfully demonstrated that, with the proper mechanisms and educational programs in place, the provision of accessible mobile phones for people with disabilities can significantly improve their quality of life through increased range of accessible activities, and will improve their independence, engagement with their peers, safety, security and self-esteem.

Inteligentní monitorovací zařízení / Intelligent monitoring device

Nosek, Zdeněk January 2008 (has links)
This master thesis discusses design and realization of a security device for vehicles. This device can determine its actual location, discover unauthorized trespass and send information about this to a distant master system too. This distant master system can show the exact position of the security device on a map. The hardware and software for this security device and the software for the master system are described in this paper.

Lokalizační systém kombinující výhody GPS a GSM / Localization system making use of GPS and GSM

Klozar, Lukáš January 2010 (has links)
Aim of this master´s project is to analyse localization possibilities in GSM and GPS wireless networks. Choise of proper module and design location device for both GPS and GSM networks. Design and construction of system, which is able to designate it´s positron, using both GPS and GSM networks. The location informations, are send to Internet server, using GPRS system. Localization techniques in both wireless network are described. The system which is able to get position information was designed and constructed. The module´s driving software and the software, which process the localization informations and controls the database storing process, was designed.

Automatický systém pro sledování polohy pohybujících se objektů / System for Automatic Object Tracking

Kerndl, Michal January 2013 (has links)
There is suggestion of obtaining exact position in this work, based on GPS and GSM modules controlled by PIC microcontroller. Layout of this work is electronic schematic, PCB footprint and theoretical analysis of used modules. The practical part of work is also dealing with software for both microprocessor and web interface. The function prototype will be created and tested in next phases of this project.

Speciální bezpečnostní systém / Special security system

Náhlík, Ondřej January 2015 (has links)
This master’s thesis is focused on design and realisation of special security system for space and property protection. System is devided into two parts, transmitting and receiving. Transmitting part is formed by Raspberry Pi Model B+, motion sensor, webcam and USB LTE modem Huawei E398. Receiving part consists of computer with suitable application for communication with FTP server. Data transfer in mobile systems is described in the first part of this thesis, transmitting part is designed in the second part. There is one transmitting option chosen in the third part and there are also described applications of the transmitting part. The last part of this thesis is focused on the receiving part and its application.

Systém sledování stavu konstrukcí z inteligentního betonu / The monitoring system for smart concrete construction condition

Brouček, Jan January 2015 (has links)
This thesis describes designing of a wireless system which allows to transmit measured data of sensors made of smart concrete. Measured data are transmitted from measuring points to the collecting unit, which stores them, and pass them to the server which is connected in the Internet network. The design of the system is focused to achieve low power consumption of all used components to provide the longest possible operation time, when using primary lithium cell. The design should be also able to provide possibility of easy modification of the measuring points.

Monitorování výpadků zkušebních stanic / Monitoring of test station downtime

Šebesta, David January 2016 (has links)
This thesis is about the monitoring of testing station downtimes at the DS/ETC (Diesel Systems / Engineering Testing Center) Bosh Diesel s.r.o. department in Jihlava. The goal of the monitoring is to get a record and an immediate warning for each machine downtime. The testing engineers are able to edit downtime reports and to create statistics and the Pareto analysis based on the reports. In the beginning of the thesis there are generally described the ETC department and the SCADA system. The monitoring system is designed and implemented based on the requirements of the ETC department. SMS messages sent via a GSM module what is connected directly to the server are used for immediate downtime warning. The test engineers have the graphic user interface what they can use to edit downtime reports. Statistics are generated individually based on the adjustable data filter. The department can focus primary on the finding out the reasons of the downtimes what leads to the biggest reduction of the test machine downtimes.
