Optimalizace systému zálohování dat / Optimization of Data Backup

Kugler, Radek January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis will deal with optimization of backup system of elementary school in Židlochovice, with possibility of using own technologies or cloud services. The thesis analyzes the current state of the backup system, proposes two variants of optimization and one of them is recommended for implementation. The implementation of the selected one will be described using the Lewin‘s model of change and network diagram. The risks that may arise during implementation or operation will be highlighted and propose methods to reduce them.

Zálohování dat a datová úložiště / Data Backup and Data Storages

Kavánková, Iva January 2021 (has links)
This diploma thesis is about data backup and following data archiving in real environment of concrete IT company engaged in software development. Theoretical knowledge concerning the area of data backup and data storages is described here. It also describes the current situation of data backup and problems with the current solution. There are suggestions for improving the current situation, including economic evaluation, to achieve efficient and most importantly secure data backup.

Řídicí a signalizační jednotka pro sportovní utkání / Control and signalling unit for sport match

Bohutínský, Jaroslav January 2010 (has links)
The aim of this study is a design of a control and signalling unit for sport meetings controlled by a microcontroller. The unit should display the time, the state of the match, eventually another data important for a course of the match. It should be fitted by an audible alarm of the end of the match. A touch control panel with a liquid crystal display serves as input of control data. The unit operates in a countdown mode, it is possible anytime to start or to stop the time by pressing the button. The equipment is mains-operated and backed up by an external battery. In the case of a power failure, it is switched over to the battery. A representation of the time, the state of the match and other data is done by LED displays. The unit allows a connection to PC.

Technologie vysoké dostupnosti MS SQL Serveru / High availability Microsoft Sql Server

Pyszko, Pavel January 2015 (has links)
The thesis contains a complete theoretical overview of high availability technologies in Microsoft SQL Server. For each technology, guidance is provided for the deployment of technologies. Technologies are analyzed from a security perspective, they are determined advantages and disadvantages of using technology in practice and is determined the optimal variant of use of the technology. High availability technology are compared with each other and is given the availability of individual technologies in versions of MS SQL Server. The thesis contains three scenarios with practical examples of using technology for high availability in practice. It provides an analysis of high-availability features in Oracle and are subsequently compared high availability features in Oracle environments with high availability technology in MS SQL Server.

Návrh a realizace systému pro maskování výpadku dispečerského PC zálohováním dat získaných z váhy TAMRON / Design and Realization of a System for Masking Dispatcher PC Cut-Off by Backing-Up Data Obtained from TAMRON Weighing-Machine

Štulír, Vojtěch January 2010 (has links)
In the productive operation any kind of plant is undesirable due to failure of system that all production has been stopped. Therefore, different security and backup devices that covered those failures are being developed and used.   This thesis describes vulnerabilities in the real operation which are important for treatment and reduce the risk of failure in the whole production. Here is analyzed problem dispatching computer failure and its solution using a module for covering failure. The function of module consists in backup during failure, their sending and treating them after system failure removal.  Gradually described, there is an analysis of the system and place the module into their architecture. After all details follow description of module development from design through implementation to deployment and testing in reality.

Datensicherung an den Fakultaeten der Technischen Universitaet Chemnitz-Zwickau

Buggel, Anne-Corinne 21 June 1995 (has links)

Naumann, Torsten 11 October 1996 (has links)

Investigation of an automatic deployment transformation method for OpenStack

Gudipati, Sai Vivek, Tatta, Vishwa Mithra January 2022 (has links)
Cloud computing is the on-demand availability of computer resources provided as a service over a network. OpenStack is an open-source cloud computing software. Deploying and operating OpenStack manually is a tedious process. To address this,life-cycle management tools have been developed. These tools automate the process of deploying OpenStack and can work as operations and maintenance tools. As OpenStack follows a six-month release cycle, some of the life-cycle management tools can not keep up with the releases and end up outdated due to a lack of support from the OpenStack community. This leads to older OpenStack deployments being stuck on unsupported life-cycle management tools, which could have bugs, security issues and are often more complicated to manage than newer life-cycle management tools(LCMTs). One way to solve this is by moving the OpenStack deployment from one LCMT to another, that is migration of the deployment itself. This thesis addresses the issue by identifying the current popular LCMTs through a secondary survey by OpenStack foundation and the existing migration methods through literature review. Furthermore, the effect of LCMTs on the OpenStack deployment is analysed, and controlled experiments are performed to test non-live migration between different LCMTs based OpenStack deployments. The results from the OpenStack user survey shows that, Kolla-ansible, followed by Puppet and OpenStack-ansible are the current popular LCMTs, based on their usage amongst the survey participants. The literature review combined with experimentation shows that the existing migration models are limited to the LCMT environments and the LCMTs themselves effect the OpenStack deployment in deployment file locations and through underlying technologies. We also propose an experimental method which works for migrating OpenStack from OpenStack-Ansible to Kolla-Ansible through a Manual deployment and vice-versa, which can thereby be generalized.
