The thesis is about the opinions of pupils from primary school on the inclusion of sports games in physical education classes with a focus on basketball. The thesis's target group are students from second and fifth grade, their teachers, and kids from sport summer camp. The goal is to find out about student's favorite sports games at secondary grammar school and see if basketball fits their preferences. Furthermore, through quality scaling see at what level are basketball skills such as dribbling and shooting. The theoretical part concludes didactic aspects in PE, sports games, and basketball itself. For the research purposes, the questionnaire was created specifically for students and teachers. For quality measurements of dribbling and shooting a chart was created to find out the right technique. The outcome of data was used as a method of a quantity which was then further shown on the graphs. The type of graphs was either showcased as pie charts and bar charts. For quality, measurements were used as a detailed statistic of more precise measurements on the chart and the arithmetic mean. The topic of the diploma thesis is the success of offensive game systems in basketball in the age categories U17 and U19. The aim of this work is to map and compare the offensive game attack game system of counterattack and the attack game systems of gradual attack in the teams of the Jižní Supi in twenty matches. Research has shown that a more successful offensive game system is a fast-paced attack game system. The partial goals were to compare individual attack game systems between the age categories U17 and U19. From this comparison, it turned out that the U17 age category is more successful in using the attack game system of fast counterattack. The U19 age category is more succcessful in using the attack game system of gradual attack. The difference between the two offensive game systems is in units of percent. Title: Basketball as a part of high school sports Objectives: The main objective of this work is to determine current students' perception of sports classes, in particular of basketball practices. The aim is to focus on their views on individual exercises and to use their feedback to modify the class plan so that it is more appealing to the students. Methods: A high school in Prague 6 was used as a test subject. Data were collected using an on-line questionnaire which was sent to all students. The data were subsequently analyzed and the results are presented in a graphical form. Results: The results are based on an on-line questionnaire. They show that more than a half of the questioned high school students favors ball games. However, basketball does not belong to the most popular ones. Title: An analysis of a basketball player's movement during the game with special focus on the centre position Objectives: This work aims to analyse and then quantify the movement load on the pivot position and compare the differences between the number of movements of ČEZ Basketball Nymburk and Real Madrid Baloncesto in their final game. Methods: The basis of this empirical study is a quantitative research that uses the method of analysis and comparison. To obtain the data, I have analysed the most frequent movements carried out by players in the game. I have collected the number of movements per each second for four positions. Observed group are centres. Movements were described theoretically, biomechanically, technically, or by using rules. After that I have used the comparison to determine the differences, which were implemented into charts and qualified in detail. Results: Movement analysis confirmed my expectations. In comparison of the pivot of an elite foreign team with the best Czech team, I have noticed significant percentage differences. Real Madrid Baloncesto players were higher in position-specific moves, such as post-up, rebounding, boxing-out, contacts, and screens. Title: Analysis and comparison of gaming performace indicators for Women's basketball league in the period 2009/10 to 2018/19. Objectives: The main focus of this thesis is to compare, based on data acquired from official statistics the quantitative differences in the selected indicators of game performance for teams placed on second, sixth and tenth places in the highest women's basketball competition in the Czech Republic of 10 years the regular season (from the year 2009/10 to 2018/19). Methods: In our thesis we used secondary analysis - data were acquired from the website of the Czech Basketball Federation. Results: Have to show us differences in the performance in our selected indicators of the same places teams in individual seasons for a period of 10 years, differences in the evenness in each indicator between the teams that placed second, sixth and tenth, the summary of the average values, which we compare in each indicator for 10 years of teams placed second, sixth a tenth. This thesis on Teaching basketball in physical education classes in primary schools deals with mapping the conditions for teaching basketball at five elementary schools and, furthermore, it deals with finding the level of basketball skills of the pupils. The aim of this thesis, based on research, is to find out whether it is possible for elementary school pupils to significantly improve in their basketball skills during physical education classes and whether such an improvement can arouse their deeper interest in this sport.The theoretical part focuses on the explanation and clarification of the basic terms and characteristics of the age group of 6 - 11 year old pupils. The research part describes the tests which were selected based on consultation with basketball experts. Additionally, it describes the conditions under which testing of pupils was undertaken. Title of Work: Analysis of team game performance of basketball representation of the Czech Republic at the European Championship 2013 in Slovenia. Objectives of Thesis: The main goal of our work is to compare team game performances of Group C and compare the final results of the Czech Republic representation in detail with its rivals at the European Championship in 2013. Partial target is a comparison of average merits between groups of teams which made it to the second round of the tournament of the European Championship 2013 which didn't succeed. Methods of Work: The chief method of the writing was a quantitative analysis of video records of all of the games of Group C, European Championship 2013 with detailed final results of the Czech Republic and its rivals. While using the method of observation, we registered the characteristics of the games and then compared it within the participating teams. In the second part, we compared the final results of pointers of the moving teams to the qualification and teams which didn't' succeed in Group C, European Championship 2013 in Basketball. Title: Management of the sport event Chance 3x3 Tour Objectives: The aim of this master thesis is to evaluate the organization of the sport event and suggest concrete arrangements for improvement of the upcoming years. Methods: The analytical part of the thesis was conducted through the qualitative research. Qualitative research methods, which are used in this work, are hidden observation, document analysis, unstructured interview and SWOT analysis. Results: There were suggested some recommendations on the basis of the SWOT analysis for the upcoming events. Analysis of the action revealed some shortcomings that should be eliminated thanks to these recommendations.
