This master thesis deals with the support of the Bavarian export, especially from the Land of Bavaria and various institutions. The theoretical part describes the usable forms of export opportunities and export promotion policies. In the next section I focus on the distribution of the Bavarian foreign direct investment by country, where they are heading, and vice versa from where the investment are flowing into Bavaria. The thesis particularly focuses on the cooperation of Bavaria and the Czech Republic in terms of mutual economic relations.

Diploma thesis deals with position of Bavaria in German economy and cooperation possibilities with the Czech Republic. The main goal of this thesis is to outline the position of Bavaria in German economy and to analyse business environment of Bavaria. Another goal is to find out, what are main negatives of cooperation between the CR and Bavaria and how to improve them. In order to support these findings, a questionnaire was conducted. Also, this thesis suggests possible areas where cooperation could be broadened. This paper presents information about Germany and Bavaria, business environment of Bavaria and possibilities of cooperation.

The thesis deals with the operational programs of cross-border cooperation in the Czech -- German border, Czech Republic -- Saxony operational program and Czech Republic -- Bavaria operational program. The theoretical part is generally described the issue of cross-border cooperation and are characterized and compared the Czech -- German operational programs in terms of their grant-making territory, published documents, the implementation structure, including the priority axes and areas of support in the current programming period 2007 -- 2013. The practical part is focused on projects approved by both the operational programs, both at present and in the previous programming 2004-2006. The last part is an analysis of views on practical cross-border cooperation on a sample of applicants for Czech-German operational programs.

4 Abstract This thesis is devoted to Ludmilla of Bohemia, the daughter of Frederick, Duke of Bohemia and his wife Elizabeth of Hungary, Duchess of Bohemia. In the first part of this thesis history of the Bogen dynasty and the beginning of the House of Wittelsbach are described. The main part of this thesis deals with the life of Ludmilla of Bohemia. Along with it brief biographies of both of her husbands, Albert III, Count of Bogen and Ludwig I, Duke of Bavaria member of Wittelsbach dynasty as well as the biographies of her four sons Berhtold, Luitpold and Albert of Bogen and Otto II, Duke of Bavaria are included. The last chapter of this thesis deals with Seligenthal monastery by the town of Landshut which Ludmilla founded in 1232. Small and medium-sized enterprises perform important task in economy. To the category fall into enterprises to 250 employees. They supply social background and make for limitation of migration inhabitantes abroad or their inland. For development of small and medium-size enterprises in south Bohemia and Lower Bavaria serve programmes for their support. Entrepreneurs have possibility cooperation with organisations which offer facilities for sphere facilitation of bussines. Through these institutions happenes link-up including cooperation between Czech-German regions.

The main aim of this work is to analyze the development of the foundations sector in three countries, in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Bavaria. From methodological point of wiew it is conceived as a comparative study. The main goal is the analysis of the development of foundations in these countries, especially after the year 1989 which meant a possibility to reestablish the foundations as a full-fledged institutions of civic society. Main theoretical basis of the work is the assumption, that the interruption of natural development of foundations in the Czech Republic and Hungary after the year 1948 had significant effects on their restoration and function after the year 1989. The work aims to analyze different approaches to restoration of foundations in the Czech Republic and Hungary and to compare their different initial conditions with the conditions in Bavaria, where the development of foundations in democratic environment with the exception of the era of Nazi Germany wasn't broken. Both the Bavarian and Austrian societies have been undergoing a broad process of change since 1945: they have experienced a long period of economical growth, a rise of standards in terms of social welfare and education, and thus a value change and a switch to at least partly postmaterial society. Accompanying this change, however, there has also been more public disapproval towards the official policies, the number of people going to the polls has sunk and so has the number of people who are likely to become involved in party politics. Particularly the big, dominant catch-all parties, such as CSU (Christian Social Union of Bavaria) and ÖVP (Austrian People's Party), have been losing their voters and members. As the thesis shows, the developments in both societies are quite similar, as the political culture of Bavaria and Austria - in spite of certain differences - shares many common characteristics. Also, both CSU and ÖVP did partly manage to adapt to the new circumstances, particularly in terms of party funding. Anyway, they did not fully follow the pattern of cartelisation to pursue this adaptation. Anglický abstrakt diplomové práce - Kateřina Majerová Policejní spolupráce na česko-bavorské hranici v letech 1989-2012 This diploma thesis deals with police cooperation on the Czech-Bavarian border. The police forces of a particular state are supposed to promote and enforce abiding by the law in a territory surrounded by the state borders. Borders are more and more penetrable even for criminal issues; therefore, the cooperation with colleagues on the other side of the borderline is essential for fulfilment of the above-mentioned task. In terms of time the topic of this thesis is delimited by the period between 1989 and 2012. The aim of the thesis is to verify the fulfilment of Karl Deutsch's concept of transactionalism on the example of this particular cooperation. For this purpose the author examines three areas on which she demonstrates the fulfilment of this concept - compatibility of states in the view of police cooperation, existence of a common interest and forms of interaction and their development. DOCTORAL THESIS Ivana HERGLOVÁ --- KINGDOM OF BOHEMIA - NEIGHBOUR OF BAVARIA IN THE LATE MIDDLE AGES AND IN THE EARLY MODERN TIMES --- Abstract --- The thesis is dedicated to research in the field of Bavarian-Bohemian relations, mainly in the field of politics, in the 15th and early 16th century. Main interest is given to the contacts between the Kingdom of Bohemia and the four partial duchies into which Bavaria was subdivided in this period - (Lower) Bavaria-Straubing, Bavaria-Munich, Bavaria-Landshut and Bavaria-Ingolstadt. The work is divided into four large parts. The first goes on the Hussite Wars (1419-1434/36). The second part analyses Czech royal election of the year 1440 and the motives of the selected candidate, the duke Albrecht III of Bavaria-Munich, to finally decline the election. This chapter is followed by a summary of the political cooperation between Czech kings Ladislaus Posthumus (1453-1457) and George of Podiebrad (1458-1471) and the duke Louis/Ludwig IX of Bavaria-Landshut. The last chapter of the thesis describes the attempt of the Bavarian dukes (of the now reunited Duchy of Bavaria) William/Wilhelm IV and Louis/Ludwig X to become the kings of Bohemia as a part of their competition for hegemony in the middle European region with the house of Habsburg.

The theme of my thesis is The Cross-border co-operation Czech Republic and Germany in the framework of programme INTERREG IV in period 2007-2013 Emphasis is placed on analysis, and subsequent comparison of the cooperation between the two countries. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part is devoted to the European Union, regional policy in the European Union, cross-border cooperation in general and the history of the European territorial cooperation. In the second part of the thesis is an analysis of crossborder cooperation within the Programme Cross-border Cooperation of Czech Republic and Saxony and analysis of cross-border co-operation within the Programme Cross-border Cooperation of Czech Republic and Bavaria. In the last part of this thesis is the comparison of both operational programs and Euroregions, which are part of a subsequent evaluation of the results and their possible contribution to removing regional disparities.
