Vliv intraabdominálního tlaku na stabilitu bederní páteře / Influence of intra-abdominal pressure on stability of the lumbar spine

Fridrychová, Dagmar January 2012 (has links)
Title of thesis: Influence of intra-abdominal pressure on the stability of the lumbar spine Definition of the problem: This thesis addresses the problem of the stabilization mechanism of the lumbar spine and the influence of intra-abdominal pressure on the stability of the lumbar spine. Objectives: The aim of my thesis is to locate, evaluate and process all available resources and to bring up the issue of IAP and its influence on the lumbar spine. The work should provide the widest possible insight into the problems of IAP effects on the stability of the lumbar spine, summarize differing opinions, and allow easier orientation in the isme. Method: The work is treated as a search, focusing on the processing and retrieval of literature concerning the issue. Studies included range from 1953 to present. To which I will use a variety of sources of literature, internet and consultation with the head of my thesis. Results: The increase in IAP, which is provided by a synchronous contraction of the diaphragm, pelvic floor muscles and m. transversus abdominis, can effectively stabilize the spine. But you can not determine with certainty whether this mechanism to support the stability of the lumbar spine is indeed used or the stability is provided by contraction of muscles, leading to an increase in IAP, and...

Chirurgické možnosti léčby degenerativního onemocnění thorakolumbální páteře: Význam morfologických a klinických klasifikací stenózy bederní páteře v předoperační rozvaze / The Surgical Treatment Options in Thoracolumbar Spine Degeneration: The Importance of Morphological and Clinical Classifications in Preoperative Decision Making

Bludovský, David January 2019 (has links)
The surgical treatment options in thoracolumbar spine degeneration: The importance of morphological and clinical classifications in preoperative decision making David Bludovský Abstract: Objective: The aim of our study was to investigate the relations between subjective difficulties, clinical findings and the MR imaging in patients who have been operated for symptomatic lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS), and the possibility of using these relations for surgical treatment decision. Methods: Patients operated for lumbar spinal stenosis in 2009-2010 were included in the study. Subjective difficulties were assessed using the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), the clinical symptoms with the modified Neurological Impairment Score for Lumbar Spinal Stenosis (mNIS-LSS). We measured the spine canal area, dural sac area, and nerve root sedimentation classification on MR. By correlation analysis at significance level p <0.05, we tested the relations between these categories. 61 patients with a median age of 67 were included. Overall, we evaluated 162 spinal segments. Results: Median of ODI values were 48. Correlation coefficients for ODI, mNIS-LSS and graphical findings were less than 0.5. Correlation coefficients greater than 0.5 were between all the MR measurement methods. Conclusions: In the group of patients indicated...

Vytvoření a ověření souboru vyrovnávacích cvičení při zvětšené bederní lordóze u dětí mladšího školního věku cvičících moderní gymnastiku \\ / Creation and verification of a set of compensatory excercises when lumbar lordosis enlarged at younger school-age children devoted to modern gymnastics

NOVÁKOVÁ, Zuzana January 2010 (has links)
The thesis deals with creating and verifying of a set of compensatory excercises for children of younger school-age devoted to modern gymnastics. The experiment ran with two gymnastic groups from Prachatice and Volary. Every girl underwent an examination of hyperlordosis degree and a muscle strength and stretch level. Finally, it was proved that these girls suffer from hyperlordosis indeed. Therefore a set of excercises had been created and later applied on the girl gymnasts. Five months later the second measuring was realised and proved that the experiment was a success.

Využití biologické zpětné vazby u pacientů s nespecifickými bolestmi zad / Using biofeedback for patient with non-specific low back pain

Prokůpková, Eva January 2012 (has links)
The Diploma thesis titled "Using biofeedback for patients with non-specific low back pain" in theoretic part gives basic information about motor learning, biofeedback, low back pain and postural stability. In the research part, it deals with influence of postural stability- focused therapy (performed on Nintendo Wii Fit Plus device) on low back pain and postural stability. The work also deals with influence of added feedback on reduction low back pain, postural stability and realizing intrinsic feedback. We demonstrate that this therapy reduced low back pain but has no significant influence on postural stability. We also demonstrate that added feedback has positive effect on persistence of pain and affective part of the Short Form of McGill Pain Questionary, but it does not influence postural stability. On the contrary, absence of added feedback significantly influenced the postural stability. The added feedback does not influence awareness intrinsic feedback.
