Bikónická dipólová anténa s kruhovou polarizací / Biconical dipole antenna with circular polarisation

Urbaník, Jaroslav January 2013 (has links)

Tenora, Jan January 2016 (has links)
The goal of this master’s thesis was to design antenna working in frequency range from 30 MHz to 1 GHz. Designed biconical antenna requires balanced feed to work properly, therefore designing the balancing unit based on discrete components was necessary. Designed antenna was also constructed and its return loss, gain and radiation patterns were verified by measurement. This master’s thesis also introduces readers into principles of antenna measurements of disturbing signals in the area of EMC and compares different types of antennas for bands of meter and decimeter waves.

Anténa pro impulzní širokopásmový signál / Antenna for broadband impulse signal

Smutný, Martin January 2015 (has links)
The thesis describes retrievals of broadband antennas for VHF and UHF. It focuses on a compact antenna, potentially suitable for detecting electromagnetic impulses generated by electrical discharges in the dielectric oil in power transformers. This pulse signals are very steep with hundreds pico seconds rising edge. The thesis presents basic characteristics of antennas and selects those which have a major influence on the possibility of using the antenna in selected application. The appropriate antena is selected and proposal its geometrical parameters is discussed. The geometry of the selected antenna is designed for working bandwidth from about 200 MHz to about 1000 MHz. The newly designed double discon antenna is simulated and dimensions are optimized. Antenna is made and key characteristics of the antenna important for evaluate the ability of detecting the above-identified pulsed signals is measured. Antenna is compared with gain and characteristic of monocone antenna. Acquired knowledge and measured data are evaluated.

To be, or not to be, Protovillanova? : Problematizing the term Protovillanova through the study of decoration patterns on biconical jars and zoomorphic handles from San Giovenale and Luni sul Mignone / Att vara, eller icke vara, Protovillanova? : Problematiseringen av Protovillanova genom studien av dekorationer på bikoniska kärl och zoomorfiska handtag från San Giovenale och Luni sul Mignone

Gierow, Kristine January 2020 (has links)
This thesis presents the claimed Protovillanova pottery from Luni sul Mignone and San Giovenale through a typological study. The pottery from San Giovenale and Luni is then compared to Bronzo Finale, Bronzo Recente and Protovillanova pottery from various sites in central and northern Italy. The reason for the comparison is to establish if the pottery should be categorized as a cultural expression or to a certain time period. Included in this study is a discussion on whether the term Protovillanovan should be used or not and if it really describes cultural phenomenon active during the Bronze Age or if it describes the same phenomena of the Bronze Age but with a different name.
